Match #1: Hacksaw Jim Duggan and "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson defeated Tully Blanchard (managed by JJ Dillon,) Diamond Dallas Page, Gorgeous George, and Pampero Firpo (manged by Rock Riddle) in a battle royal for two spots in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Money in the Bank.

- Danielson eliminated George

- Firpo eliminated DDP

- Duggan eliminated Firpo

- Danielson eliminated Blanchard

- as a result of being the final two participants, Duggan and Danielson (tag team partners who partly by working together managed to eliminate the 4 other participants) earn spots in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Money in the Bank while the other 4 participants in this match (as stipulated earlier) will be the 4 participants in the Vegas traditional 4 opening way elimination match at Money in the Bank.

- DiBiase's Office: VWF Chairman and VWF Champion "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, surrounded by his Cabinet (King Kong Bundy, Larry "The Axe" Hennig, and the Valiants) tells Lenny Lane and the Sheepherders they will be wrestling Trish Stratus, "The Rocker" Marry Jannetty, and "Cowboy" Scott Casey in the preshow match at Money in the Bank.

Match #2: The Destroyer and Blackjack Mulligan defeated Johnny Valentine in a two falls triple threat match to win the final two spots in the Money in the Bank ladder match at Money in the Bank

- Mulligan defeated Valentine via his BLACKJACK CLAW and then left the ring as The Destroyer and Valentine battled for the final spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match

- The Destroyer defeated Valentine via BOMBS AWAY to win the final spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match

- afterward, DiBiase appeared and told Valentine he would still have a match at Money in the Bank and it would be a match against someone he just signed to the VWF- Barry Windham!

In the Ring: DiBiase stays in the ring to make the announcement he alluded to last week on RAW

- DiBiase says Windham is not the only one of his recent signings and the VWF roster is getting too big so he is bringing back the Smackdown brand to divide the roster!

- DiBiase says he will be running both the RAW brand and VWF as a whole but he will introduce a Smackdown general manager this weekend at Money in the Bank!

- DiBiase also says there will be a draft next week beginning on RAW to determine the rosters of the RAW and Smackdown brands!

Match #3: United States Champion Bobo Brazil defeated Magnum TA

- Brazil retained the United States Championship via a COCO BUTT

- as Brazil, who will be participating in the VWF #1 contender's ladder match this weekend at Money in the Bank, gets his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud whether Brazil can win the ladder match to become the VWF Championship #1 contender and thus possibly become both VWF Champion and United States Champion?

- afterward, DiBiase appeared and informed Magnum TA he would still have a match at Money in the Bank. As he started to ask who his opponent would be, Magnum TA was suddenly attacked from behind by Ivan Koloff as DiBiase then announced that the Magnum TA-Koloff classic feud in Major League Wrestling which included a famous Best of 7 Series would now involve a matchup against each other at Money in the Bank!

Match #4: Harley Race (managed by Bobby Heenan) defeated Lou Thesz and Jimmy Snuka in a Money in the Bank main event showcase match

- during this match, Heenan at ringside jumped on the apron AND was accidentally taken down by Thesz and Snuka when the former had the latter in an airplane spin. Heenan had to be carried out on a stretcher.

- this match ended when Race, despite the loss of his manager Heenan during this match, pinned Snuka via his PILEDRIVER as Stryker and Zbyszko wonder if Race's victory tonight is a sign of things to come in the main event VWF Championship #1 contender's ladder match main event at Money in the Bank?

BREAKING NEWS:

Following the results of RAW #31 (results posted above,) the following matches have been added to this weekend's Money in the Bank PPV:

- as a result of what happened at the Great American Bash and during the tag team gauntlet match on RAW #30, Miracle Violence Connection vs Valiants

- also as a result of the tag team gauntlet match on RAW #30, a matchup of the two tag teams that caused the eventual winners the Road Warriors the most problems, Fantastics vs Midnight Express in a #1 contender's match. This is a rematch from the Great American Bash (where the Midnight Express were victorious,) but this time the stakes are raised with the winning tag team becoming the #1 contenders!

- after RAW #31 ended, an altercation from a backstage incident caught on the VWF channel on You Tube has led to the Buffet Club vs Dream Team in a loser must disband match. The Buffet Club were treated with disdain by the Dream Team and thus challenged them to a match but Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake would only agree if the losing tag team must disband stipulation was attached so they could end the Buffet Club. The losing tag team in this match will not be eligible to be drafted together in the VWF Draft (mentioned on RAW #31) that will take place next week on RAW #32.

- this grudge match between former tag team partners ended when Taylor choked Redd Dogg with some cables outside of the ring

Preshow match: Lenny Lane and the Sheepherders defeated Trish Stratus, "The Rocker" Marty Jannetty, and "Cowboy" Scott Casey


- Butch Miller pinned Jannetty after a DOUBLE GUTBUSTER performed in tandem with Luke Williams

Match #1: Pampero Firpo (managed by Rock Riddle) defeated Tully Blanchard (managed by JJ Dillon,) Diamond Dallas Page, and Gorgeous George in the Vegas traditional opening 4 way elimination match

- DDP pinned George via his DIAMOND CUTTER

- Firpo pinned DDP after 3 straight backbreakers

- Firpo put away Blanchard via EL GARFIO

Match #2: The Dream Team defeated the Buffet Club (Sinn Bodhi and the Blue Meanie) by DQ in a losers must disband match

- this match ended when Brutus Beefcake smashed the referee in the back with a steel chair and then tossed the steel chair the Blue Meanie who instinctively caught it. The referee turned around to see the Blue Meanie holding the steel chair and called for the bell to disqualify the Buffet Club who per match stipulation now must disband as a tag team.

In the Ring: VWF Chairman of the Board and VWF Champion "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase

- DiBiase announces and introduces the general manager of the new Smackdown brand- Angelo Poffo!

- as Poffo is introduced to the crowd, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud who will be drafted onto the Smackdown brand and whether one of these draft picks by Poffo might include Randy Savage?


Match #3: Ivan Koloff defeated Magnum TA

- in a match between two wrestlers of the previous Smackdown brand in Major League Wrestling who had an epic Best of Seven series won by Koloff, Koloff once again got the better of Magnum TA when he won this match via his RUSSIAN SICKLE.

- as Koloff gets his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud whether either Koloff or Magnum TA will be drafted to Smackdown in the draft on tomorrow night's edition of RAW.

Match #4: Johnny Valentine defeated Barry Windham

- this match marked the VWF debut for Windham

- this match ended when Valentine (who turned on Lou Thesz at the Great American Bash with a low blow from behind) gave Windham a low blow and then won via his ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER.

End of First Third. Second Third posted next which includes MVC vs Valiants, Fantastics vs Midnight Express in a #1 contender's match, and the Money in the Bank briefcase ladder match!

Match #5: Miracle Violence Connection defeated the Valiants by DQ

- in this grudge match, set up by the Valiants attacking the MVC in the War Games structure at the conclusion of last month's Great American Bash PPV, the MVC were in control for most of this match until the Valiants' fellow Cabinet members King Kong Bundy and Larry "The Axe" Hennig arrived and interfered on the behalf of the Valiants.

Match #6: Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Denis Condrey, both managed by Jim Cornette) defeated the Fantastics in a #1 contender's match

- a good match that saw both tag teams score near falls on each other but the Midnight Express won when Eaton pinned Tommy Rogers via a slingshot backbreaker

- as a result, the Midnight Express are now officially the #1 contender's in the tag team divison

Match #7: Randy Savage defeated The Destroyer, Blackjack Mulligan, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, and Johnny Mantell in the Money in the Bank briefcase ladder match

- an awesome ladder match, after landing a FLYING ELBOW SMASH on Mantell from the top of a ladder, Savage was able to climb another ladder and retrieve the Money in the Bank briefcase

- as Savage gets his hand raised in victory while his other hand holds the Money in the Bank briefcase, Striker and Zbyszko says it is now time for Macho in the Bank but the only question is to what brand will Savage and his Money in the Bank briefcase end up on after the draft tomorrow night on RAW.
