Loved the cash-in by Macho. Will be interesting to see how the Chairman of the Board responds on Raw. I am also interested to see how the Horsemen function with Tully as the #1 guy instead of Rogers.

Big congrats to Savage....if it wasn't for him, I'm not sure I'd ever got into wrestling and therefore into COTG and the later madness. Amazing show as usual, Vegas.

Summerslam was awesome and what a way to cap it off with Randy Savage cashing in! I loved the idea of an exhausted and frankly fortunate Ted Dibiase smiling while down over how he got past RVD only to have the "Macho Man" cash in on him. Great stuff. It was also very cool to see a final round match with DDP vs. Tully Blanchard with Blanchard taking the Smackdown World championship. He used the ropes but heck what's a Horsemen win without some kind of sneaky move. Road Warriors vs. Midnight Express was great and also Savage beating Lou Thesz en route to winning the world title capped off an incredible night for the one and only "Macho Man".
Congrats also to Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik and Harley Race on their Smackdown title wins and to Barry Windham for winning the Fatal Four Way elimination match. Your big shows are always fantastic and this edition of Summerslam was no exception.

I was sort of disappointed that 3 of my first 7 matches for Summerslam ended in DQs, but I also really liked Savage cashing in at the end which I thought of after the main event ended as I saw how much fatigue DiBiase had accumulated against RVD. I was actually at Summerslam in 2011 when Alberto Del Rio cashed in Money in the Bank at the end of the show to win the title from CM Punk, so I was glad the dice gave me a chance to have a similar result in my fed. Thanks for reading!

the first RAW following Summerslam!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #36 August 27th, Year 1
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
In the Ring: new VWF Champion Macho Man Randy Savage is introduced
- Savage, who won the VWF Championship at the end of Summerslam by cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase against defending champion Ted DiBiase after DiBiase retained against Rob Van Dam, appears and vows to be a fighting champion when he is interrupted by VWF Chairman of the Board "The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase.
- Accompanied by his Cabinet (Larry "The Axe" Hennig and the Valiants,) DiBiase says there is no way Savage can defeat him in a fair match in which DiBiase can be rested for and prepare for in advance and to prove it he is making a VWF Championship match of Savage defending the title against him (DiBiase) at the next RAW brand PPV Unforgiven!
- DiBiase then orders his Cabinet to attack Savage who suffers a 4 on 1 beat down until RVD and Curt Hennig arrive with steel chairs to chase the Cabinet out of the ring.
Match #1: Lenny Lane defeated Trish Stratus
- in a matchup of 2 RAW wrestlers who did not appear on Summerslam and now seek to get some momentum started, Lane won via MEMORY LANE.
- DiBiase's Office: Curt Hennig enters
- DiBiase accuses Curt Hennig of helping set the stage for Savage cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase at Summerslam by engaging in a brawl with Larry Hennig that led to both of them fighting toward the back of the arena and says if he wants to brawl with his family then he (Curt Hennig) gets a match vs Larry Hennig at Unforgiven!
Match #2: Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Boris Zhukov
- this match ended up basically being a replay of Summerslam as Duggan won once again via a spinning bodyslam in just a few moves.
- DiBiase's Office: RVD enters
- DiBiase accuses RVD of helping set the stage for Savage cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase at Summerslam by taking out the Valiants right before Savage cashed in so next week on RAW it will be RVD vs the Valiants in a handicap match!
Match #3: Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton, both managed by Jim Cornette) defeated Scott Taylor and Sam Houston
- despite Taylor and Houston putting up some great offense and almost winning the match, the Midnight Express won when Eaton put away Taylor after MIDNIGHT MASSACRE.
- afterward, Cornette said the Road Warriors retaining the VWF Championship against the Midnight Express at Summerslam was unconvincing as it came on a countout decision so he got DiBiase to agree to a Road Warriors vs Midnight Express for the VWF Tag Team Championship rematch at Unforgiven and this time to guarantee a decisive winner it will be a tornado match!
Backstage: Lou Thesz notices The Destroyer once again stalking United States Champion Bobo Brazil and challenges The Destroyer to challenge Brazil one on one to a match if he has a problem with Brazil and, to show The Destroyer how it is done, Thesz challenges The Destroyer to a match next week on RAW!
Match #4: Barry Windham defeated Blackjack Mulligan in a United States Championship #1 contender's match
- for this match to determine his next challenger, United States Champion Bobo Brazil did guest color commentary.
- Windham won via his LARIAT and as a result gets to challenge Brazil for the United States Championship at Unforgiven!
- afterward, Windham got attacked by the Dream Team as he recently defeated both Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine in matches enroute to getting tongiht's #1 contender's match. Brazil ran in to make the save and then offered to team with his Unforgiven challenger in a match against the Dream Team next week on RAW.
Unforgiven presented by the VWF's RAW brand September 16, Year 1 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV 1. VWF Champion Randy Savage vs Ted DiBiase 2. VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors vs Midnight Express (tornado match) 3. United States Champion Bobo Brazil vs Barry Windham 4. Curt Hennig vs Larry Hennig 5. more matches TBA
End of Show.

Windham vs. Mulligan and Hennig vs. Hennig - Family Warfare is rocking Raw! Ted Dibiase going crazy over his title loss also results in RVD getting the Valiant Brothers in a handicap match. I'm also liking the tension building around Lou Thesz, The Destroyer and U.S. champ Bobo Brazil. The set-up for Brazil & Barry Windham vs. Dream Team on the next show was well done.
