Sheik taps Williams and Gordy in back to back falls. Awesome! yeah, with Williams and Gordy both scoring success on recent episodes of Smackdown in singles matches against the Iron Sheik and Voloff, I thought perhaps the MVC would win the World Tag Team Championship match at No Mercy, but Sheik and Volkoff are still the champions according to my dice

No Mercy was another great show in the Vegasverse (TM ) and I loved the debut of Exotic Adrian Street along with the huge win by Redd Dogg in the opening contest. Very cool also to see Tully Blanchard retain over Johnny Mantell getting his win back after the upset loss. I also loved the tag wins by the Rock n' Roll Express, Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik and Buddy Rogers & Johnny Valentine. Good also to see King Kong Bundy get the win over the Boogie Woogie Man in the Las Vegas Street Fight.

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #40 September 24th, Year 1
commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Scott Taylor defeated Pampero Firpo (managed by Rock Riddle)
- before this match began, Riddle announced he has a source who has informed him that it was Trish Status (who lost to Firpo in a no DQ match at Unforgiven) who attacked Malia Hosaka backstage at Unforgiven.
- Taylor scored the upset via a deathjump when Firpo got distracted by the sudden appearance of Lenny Lane who once was also managed by Riddle
- as Taylor got his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud why did Lane suddenly appear and distract Firpo?
Backstage: Hacksaw jIm Duggan is walking down the hallway when he accidentally bumps into VWF Chairman of the Board "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase who is accompanied by the Valiants.
- Duggan and DiBiase, who outside of the VWF have had a storied past together, exchange words and the Valiants then push Duggan back as DiBiase hits Duggan with a cheap shot
Match #2: VWF Champion Randy Savage defeated Larry "The Axe" Hennig in a non-title match
- this match, set up last week when Savage was seeking answers from DiBiase's Cabinet about who attacked his valet Hosaka, was won by Savage via his FLYING ELBOW SMASH
- DiBiase's Office: DiBiase is with the Valiants, Midnight Express, Armstrongs, and Dream Team. DiBiase tells them next week on RAW they will have a fatal fourway elimination match and the first 3 tag teams to score pinfalls or submissions will become the 3 tag teams challenging VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors in a a fatal fourway elimination match at Fatal Fourway!
Match #3: Rob Van Dam defeated Curt Hennig in a VWF Championship Fatal Fourway Qualifying Match
- this match, made by DiBiase, pitted two close friends against each other for one of the two remaining spots in the VWF Championship fatal fourway elimination match at Fatal Fourway
- RVD won via his FIVE STAR FROP SPLASH to claim a spot in the VWF Championship fatal fourway main event at Fatal Fourway at the expense of his friend Hennig, but both RVD and Hennig shook hands afterward.

Although I am a big fan of Bobo Brazil, it was very cool to see Blackjack Mulligan become the new RAW U.S. Heavyweight champion. Credit Brazil for his awesome title reign now we will see how Blackjack fares as the champ. Looking forward to Smackdown and I am intrigued by that Redd Dogg vs. Gorgeous George top contenders match-up.
