Tully proves tough in that main event. Sounds like the Dog Collar match was pretty fun.

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #45 October 30th, Year 1
commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Pampero Firpo (managed by Rock Riddle) defeated Lenny Lane
- Firpo won this grudge match via a knee lift to continue his recent run of success against Lane who he also defeated at Fatal Fourway.
- afterward, on orders of Riddle, Firpo launched a post match attack upon Lane until RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard arrived and ordered Firpo to stop or he will not be added to his (Blanchard's) team at Survivor Series as he was about to announce he is adding both Lane and Firpo to his team to take on the Smackdown team led by Smackdown General Manager Angelo Poffo.
- Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud both about how will Lane and Firpo manage to coexist on the same team at Survivor Series and about, with "The Rocker Marty Jannetty being announced for the team last week on RAW, who will be the final/5th member of Blanchard's team?
Backstage: Lou Thesz is approached by Ivan Koloff who tells him next week on RAW he has been told Thesz, Barry Windham, and Stan Hansen have a match against him (Koloff,) Curt Hennig, and Blackjack Mulligan as part of the ongoing VWF Championship team vs United States Championship team series leading up to Survivor Series!
Match #2: Dream Team defeated the Valiants
- during this match, it was mentioned on commentary that these two tag teams have been selected as the final two tag teams on the VWF Tag Team Championship team at Survivor Series
- the Dream Team won this match when Brutus Beefcake put away Jimmy Valiant via his SLEEPER
Backstage: Hacksaw Jim Duggan is interviewed and he says he just watched 2 members of his enemy VWF Chairman "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase's Cabinet, the Valiants, lose a match and that the Cabinet will also lose at Survivor Series and tomorrow night he will be on Smackdown to reveal his Survivor Series tag team partner against DiBiase and Larry "The Axe" Hennig as they will be the one co-brand team against the also now co-brand Cabinet at Survivor Series!
Match #3: Johnny Saint defeated United States Champion Bobo Brazil by DQ
- Saint had Brazil in serious trouble in this match and the end came when the action spilled outside of the ring where Brazil, one of the biggest fan favorites in the VWF, uncharacteristically and apparently in desperation smashed Saint with the ring bell to get DQd.
- as a result, Brazil loses but retains the United States Championship
- Blanchard appeared and said he was shocked by Brazil's actions but he is not going to reward them and thus next week on RAW Saint will get another United States Championship match- but this time it will be no DQ!
Survivor Series presented by VWF's RAW and Smackdown brands November 18, Year 1 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV 1. VWF Champion Randy Savage, Lou Thesz, Barry Windham, Rob Van Dam, and Stan Hansen vs Smackdown's World Champion led team TBA (elimination match) 2. United States Champion Bobo Brazil, Blackjack Mulligan, Curt Hennig, Ivan Koloff, and Johnny Saint vs Smackdown's Intercontinental Champion led team TBA (elimination match) 3. VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors, Midnight Express, Armstrongs, Valiants, and Dream Team vs Smackdown's World Tag Team Champions led team TBA (elimination match) 4. Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Smackdown wrestler TBA vs "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Larry "The Axe" Hennig (elimination match) 5. RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard, "The Rocker" Marty Jannetty, Pampero Firpo, Leny Lane, and 1 RAW wrestlers TBA vs Smackdown General Manager Angelo Poffo and 4 Smackdown wrestlers TBA (elimination match)
Match #4: Curt Hennig and Blackjack Mulligan defeated Rob Van Dam and Stan Hansen
- this match was part of the ongoing VWF Championship team vs United States Championship team series leading up to Survivor Series as Blanchard in these tag matches is seeking on both teams to team up wrestlers who might not normally team together so they have some experienced chemistry prior to competing against their Smackdown opponents at Survivor Series.
- during this match, RVD and Hennig competed against each other in a spirited yet friendly fashion, but Hansen and Mulligan brawled fiercely against each other
- the end came when Mulligan pinned RVD via a big boot to face.
End of Show.

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Smackdown #13 October 31st, Year 1
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Diamond Dallas Page defeated Bryan Danielson
- a great match, one of the best ever on Smackdown, both competitors scored at least 4 near falls against the other
- DDP prevailed via his DIAMOND CUTTER to avenge his loss to Danielson at Halloween Havoc, DDP and Danielson are now tied 1-1 against each other
- afterward, Hacksaw Jim Duggan from RAW appeared and asked Danielson (who used to team with Duggan before being drafted to Smackdown) to be his tag team partner against his enemies The Cabinet as the one co-branded team at Survivor Series and Danielson said yes!
- Poffo's Office: Smackdown General Manager Angelo Poffo is meeting with the Horsemen (World Champion Tully Blanchard, Buddy Rogers, Johnny Valentine, and manager JJ Dillon)
- Poffo tells the Horsemen that all 3 of them together will be on the World Championship team he has assembled for Survivor Series to take on RAW's VWF Championship team in the main event- but he also placed their enemies Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka on their team!
- As they leave Poffo's office, Blanchard mentions to his fellow Horsemen that per Survivor Series rules that if is he eliminated along with either Brody or Snuka surviving then Brody or Snuka would get future World Championship matches against him and they need to make sure that scenario does not happen.
Match #2: Fantastics defeated Sheepherders
- before this match began, Poffo appeared and said the winner of this match would be added to the World Tag Team Championship team he is currently assembling to represent Smackdown at Survivor Series.
- The Fantastics won this match when Tommy Rogers pinned Butch Miller following the PRESS SLAM/SPLASH he performed in tandem with Bobby Fulton.
- As a result, the Fantastics have earned a spot on the World Tag Team Championship team representing Smackdown at Survivor Series!
- Poffo's Office: Poffo is meeting with the World Tag Team Champions Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff and their manager Shawn Daivari
- Poffo tells Shiek and Volkof they and the Miracle Vilence Connection will both be on the World Tag Team Championship team representing Smackdown at Survivor Series. Daivari pointed at the World Tag Team Championship titles around the waists of Sheik and Volkoff and said that is obvious they will be on the team. Poffo however replied that it is not yet obvious who will be the World Tag Team Champions at Survivor Series because he was disappointed in how Sheik and Volkoff got thmeselves DQd on the floor in both falls in their title defense against the MVC at Halloween Havoc to retain the World Tag Team Championship and thus next week on Smackdown he is giving the MVC a World Tag Team Championship rematch and this time it will be in a steel cage to prevent any DQs on the floor like what happened at Halloween Havoc!
Match #3: Brian Christopher defeated Boogie Woogie Man in an Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's match
- Boogie Woogie Man was in control early and got a couple of near pinfalls, but Christopher battled back and won via his HIP HOP DRIVE.
- As a result, Christopher gets an Intercontinental Championship match against defending champion Harley Race next week on Smackdown!
- Striker and Zbyszko remark that, with the news from Poffo's office about the World Tag Team Championship steel cage match also taking place next week, there will be 2 title defenses on the next episode of Smackdown!

All of the recent action has been great and I thoroughly enjoyed Halloween Havoc. Tully Blanchard has proven to be a real force as the Smackdown World Champion especially coming off a win over Bruiser Brody. I was hoping to see the MVC win the tag titles from Volkoff & Sheik but the DQ decision took care of that. Doc & Gordy definitely deserve a rematch. I loved the in-ring debut of the Vachon's as well as Jimmy Valiant picking up that huge win over King Kong Bundy. It is also cool to see Brian Christopher doing well on the blue brand.
