The Fantastics are an exciting duo, but Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff are tough customers... Either team would make formidable challengers for the MVC... Great looking lineup!

I don't think he has a chance but fun to see Boogie Woogie getting a shot against Race.

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Smackdown #17 December 5th, Year 1
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Leilani Kai defeated Sherri Martel
- 3 weeks before Kai and Martel wrestle each other along with Rockin Robin and Princess Victoria in a 4 way elimination Ladies Championship #1 contender's match at Starcade, Kai won via her RUNNING SPLASH to pick up an impressive victory over the only 2 time former Ladies Champion
Poffo's Office: Smackdown General Manager tells the Rock N Roll Express, upset at losing to their enemies the Sheepherders last week on Smackdown after the Sheepherders got away with using a foreign object, that they will get another shot at the Sheepherders next week on Smackdown and the winner of that match will pick the stipulation for their matchup at Starcade!
Match #2: Fantastics defeated Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (both managed by Shawn Daivari) in a World Tag Team Championship #1 contender's match
- for this match to determine their challenger at Starcade, World Tag Team Champions Miracle Violence Connection (MVC) provided guest color commentary
- The Fantastics won when Bobby Fulton pinned Volkoff following ROCKET LAUNCHER, as a result the Fatastics get a World Tag Team Championship match against the Miracle Violence Connection at Starcade.
- afterward, the Vachons suddenly arrived and from behind attacked the MVC from behind as their manager The Sicilian says it should be the Vachons- who defeated the Fantastics at Halloween Havoc and who have not lost in a standard tag team match since arriving in the VWF- getting the World Tag Team Championship match at Starcade.
Poffo's Office: Poffo tells DDP, who last week was sent crashing through a wall after being hit in the hallway with an ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE from King Kong Bundy, that he will accept DDP's request for a match against Bundy at Starcade and he will even award the winner a spot in next month's Royal Rumble!
Match #3: Intercontinental Champion Harley Race defeated Boogie Woogie Man
- Race won via a rollup pin coing off the ropes as Boogie Woogie Man attempted a sunset slip
- as a result, Race retains the Intercontinental Championship

- 3 weeks before Snuka and Brody team up against Blanchard and Rogers in a steel cage tag elimination match for the World Champonship at Starcade, Brody managed to fend off the attempted interference of the Horsemen and Snuka won this match via his SUPERFLY LEAP
- as Brody raises Snuka's hand in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud if Snuka (a 1 time former World Champion) will manage to win the World Championship again at Starcade in what will be both Snuka and Brody's last chance at the World Championship and tonight's show comes to an end

Brilliant performance by Superfly in the main event... But even though Brody supported Snuka here, things might get ugly at Starcade since both men have gotta be hungry for that championship gold... Oh, snap indeed!

Big win by Molly. Shame Savage vs Hansen ended in a dq. I am looking forward to Greenwald vs Stratus and I was also hoping for a more definitive result in the main event, but the dice did not allow it. At least I get a Lou Thesz/Stan Hansen match out of it and it will probably set up a Savage/Hansen rematch for the future.
