Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Smackdown #20 January 16th, Year 2 Las Vegas, NV
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: Johnny Valentine (managed by JJ Dillon) defeated Johnny Mantell in a Royal Rumble Qualifying match
- Valentine won this match easily via his ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER.
- As a result, Striker and Zbyszko point out that Valentine will be joining fellow Horsemen Tully Blanchard, but not Buddy Rogers- who Smackdown General manager Angelo Poffo has denied a spot due to Rogers already being slated to take on Ric Flair in a special attraction match at Vegasmania 2- in the Royal Rumble match.
Backstage: Poffo tells the Rock N' Roll Express that, as former VWF Tag Team Champions, next week on Smackdown they will have a #1 contender's match against former World Tag Team Champions Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff with the winners challenging the Fantastics for the World Tag Team Championship at the Royal Rumble with the two losers instead receiving the final 2 Smackdown spots in the Royal Rumble!
Match #2: Bryan Danielson defeated Sinn Bodhi in a Royal Rumble Qualifying match
- Danielson won easily via CATTLE MUTILATION to win a spot in the Royal Rumble
Backstage: Jimmy Snuka, who is challenging his friend Bruiser Brody for the World Championship at the Royal Rumble, is seen approaching his locker where there is a note taped to the front. Snuka opens the letter and reads a note saying "I'm coming back for you." Snuka looks confused as Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud as to who could have written that note? Perhaps one of the 4 outside mystery wrestlers who will not be announced in advance of the Royal Rumble match?
Match #3: Gorgeously Exotic defeated Boogie Woogie Man and Brian Christoper in a Royal Rumble Qualifying match
- George tapped out Boogie Woogie Man via SPINNING TOEHOLD to win Royal Rumble spots for both himself and Street.
Royal Rumble presented by VWF's RAW and Smackdown brands January 28, Year 2 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV 1. Royal Rumble match: Lou Thesz, Magnum TA, Diamond Dallas Page, Alexis Smirnoff, Boris Zhukov, Ivan Koloff, Blackjack Mulligan, United States Champion Bobo Brazil, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Bob Armstrong, Brad Armstrong, Intercontinental Champion Harley Race, Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, Terry Gordy, King Kong Bundy, Tully Blanchard, Stan Hansen, Johnny Valentine, Bryan Danielson, Gorgeus George, Exotic Adrian Street, and 9 wrestlers TBD 2. Jimmy Snuka vs World Champion Bruiser Brody 3. RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard vs VWF Champion Randy Savage (non-title) 4. VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors vs Midnight Express 5. Leilani Kai vs Ladies Champion Trish Stratus 6. more matches TBD/TBA
Match #4: Steve "Dr. Death" Williams (accompanied by Terry Gordy) defeated Intercontinental Champion Harley Race in a non-title match
- in this matchup between Williams and Race, both of whom have received Royal Rumble spots, Williams got the victory after a superplex to hand Race a very rare defeat.
- As Williams gets his hand raised in victory as Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud how far he will go in the Royal Rumble and whether an Intercontinental Championship match could be in his future, tonight's show comes to an end.
Poffo's Office: An angry Buddy Rogers storms into the office and attacks Poffo for denying him a spot in the Royal Rumble! As Rogers proceeds to assault Poffo, the show goes off the air.
End of Show.

Some solid LOW action happening. Big win by Dr. Death and nice to see Gorgeous George qualify for the Rumble.

Very cool to see Stan Hansen take out Joe Blanchard and earn a potential two chances at the title. Blanchard inserting himself into a match with world champ Randy Savage at the Royal Rumble had to piss Hansen off so that Lariat must have felt like a good one to deliver. The Royal Rumble event is shaping up nicely, I'm looking forward to it.

time to get my LOW fed back in action!
Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #55 January 22nd, Year 2
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: The Midnight Bees ("The Rocker" Marty Jannetty and Jim Brunzell) defeated the Dream Team
- as this match began, Striker and Zbyszko commented that the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way Elimination match at this weekend's Royal Rumble would be a multi brand tag match and both of these tag teams- the Midnight Bees and the Dream team-would be representing RAW in that match.
- a good match, the Midnight Bees won when Brunzell pinned Greg Valentine via his HIGH FLYING DROPKICK
Backstage: Nora Greenwald, Tina Moretti, Judy Martin, and Jazz all sign up to participate in the recently announced Women's Rumble at this weekend's Royal Rumble.
Match #2: Alexis Smirnoff defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan
- this was a match between two of the competitors in this weekend's Royal Rumble
- Smirnoff gave Duggan lots of trouble in this match and won via his HEART PUNCH.
- as he gets his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud how far Smirnoff can go in this weekend's Royal Rumble and speculate about his chances on winning the Royal Rumble to get a championship match at Vegasmania 2.
Backstage: Lou Thesz is talking to United States Champion Bobo Brazil at Thesz's locker when Brazil points out that Thesz has a note taped to his locker. The note says "I'm coming back for you." Brazil says he knows that Jimmy Snuka last week on Smackdown got the same note and wonders who is sending these notes to Thesz and Snuka and why?
Match #3: Rob Van Dam, Curt Hennig, and Pampero Firpo (managed by Rock Riddle) won a 13 man Royal Rumble last chance battle royal
- this was a batte royal involving the entire members of the RAW roster who did not already have either a spot or match at this weekend's Royal Rumble for the 3 remaining RAW spots in the Royal Rumble.
- during this match, Curt Hennig- who previously displayed frustration toward his friend and frequent tag team partner RVD for their earlier inability to win spots in the Royal Rumble- often worked in tandem with RVD in their joint quest to capture 1 of the 3 Royal Rumble spots up for grabs in this match.
order of elimination 1. Kenny Jay (by Lenny Lane) 2. Frank Dalton (by Firpo) 3. Johnny Saint (by Hennig.) Striker and Zbyszko both react in surprise at Saint's early elimination. 4. Blue Meanie (by Scott Taylor) 5. Lenny Lane (by Barry Windham) 6. Bruiser Costa (by Hennig) 7. Barry Windham (by Sam Houston) Striker and Zbyszko both react in surprise at Windham's elimination. 8. Ron Hutchinson (by RVD) 9. Sam Houston (by Hennig) 10. Scott Taylor (by Firpo)
Winners: RVD, Curt Hennig, and Pampero Firpo.
- afterward, Firpo shoved RVD into the back of Hennig who unknowingly reacted in anger toward RVD.
Royal Rumble presented by VWF's RAW and Smackdown brands January 28, Year 2 T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, NV 1. Royal Rumble match: Lou Thesz, Magnum TA, Diamond Dallas Page, Alexis Smirnoff, Boris Zhukov, Ivan Koloff, Blackjack Mulligan, United States Champion Bobo Brazil, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Bob Armstrong, Brad Armstrong, Intercontinental Champion Harley Race, Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, Terry Gordy, King Kong Bundy, Tully Blanchard, Stan Hansen, Johnny Valentine, Bryan Danielson, Gorgeus George, Exotic Adrian Street, Rob Van dam, Curt Hennig, Pampero Firpo, and 6 wrestlers TBD 2. Women's Royal Rumble match: Nicole Greenwald, Tina Moretti, Judy Martin, Jazz, and others TBD 3. Jimmy Snuka vs World Champion Bruiser Brody 4. RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard vs VWF Champion Randy Savage (non-title) 5. VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors vs Midnight Express 6. Leilani Kai vs Ladies Champion Trish Stratus 7. Midnight Bees vs Dream Team vs 2 Samckdown tag teams TBD 8. more matches TBA
Match #4: Stan Hansen and the Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, accompanied by manager Jim Cornette) defeated VWF Champion "The Macho Man" Randy Savage and VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors
- a great match which ended when Hansen pinned Savage via his LARIAT.
- as they get their hands raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud how will the Midnight Express do in their match for the VWF Tag Team Champions against the Road Warriors this weekend at the Royal Rumble and how will Hansen- who still already has one guaranteed VWF Championship match due to surviving at Survivor Series- do in this weekend's Royal Rumble as the show goes off the air.
End of Show. Thanks for taking the time to read my LOW fed results!
