Big win by DDP. While I wouldn't be high on his chances, it's still a great victory. yeah, I think DDP definitely benefited both by his late entrance number (#28) along with the fact that many of the favorites drew extremely early entrance numbers such as Stan Hansen (#1,) Blackjack Mulligan (#2,) Harley Race (#3) and even Abdullah the Butcher- who in his debut had the most eliminations with 6- at (#9.) I use the dice to determine entrance numbers to start each round with the lowest number going first and it kept rolling on snake eyes for those guys. |

In the Ring: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard, Stan Hansen, and Blackjack Mulligan
- Blanchard says that, following last night's Royal Rumble, Hansen and Mulligan are the last two remaining Survivor Series survivors not to get their shots yet at the VWF Championship so next month at Elimination Chamber RAW the main event will be VWF Champion Randy Savage vs Stan Hansen vs Blackjack Mulligan in a triple threat elimination match!
- Blanchard however says that since Savage is also a Survivor Series survivor that Hansen or Mulligan first need to defeat Savage in a non-title match to make this main event at Elimination Chamber RAW for the VWF Championship. Blanchard says on the next two editions of RAW both Hansen and Mulligan will wrestle Savage in a non-title match and if either of them can defeat Savage then their triple threat at Elimination Chamber RAW will be for the VWF Championship! Otherwise, it will be a non-title match with Hansen or Mulligan instead receiving a VWF Championship match at Vegasmania 2 if they can pin or submit Savage at Elimination Chamber RAW!
Match #1: Sandman defeated "Sodbuster" Kenny Jay
- this match marked the RAW debut for Sandman who made his VWF debut last night in the Royal Rumble
- Sandman won this match via his SINGAPORE CANE
- as Sandman got his hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud how far will Sandman- the last-ever EAWA Champion back when MLW folded- go in the VWF?
Blanchard's Office: Blanchard meets with United States Champion Bobo Brazil
- Blanchard tells Brazil that since the VWF Championship will be part of a triple threat match at Elimination Chamber RAW, it will actually be Brazil's United States Championship that will be defended inside the Elimination Chamber that weekend.
Match #2: Rob Van Dam defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match
- RVD won via his FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH
- as a result, RVD wins a spot in the United States Championship Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber RAW.
Blanchard's Office: Blanchard is meeting with Nora Greenwald, Jazz, Tina Moretti, and Judy Martin. Blanchard tells them that since Rockin Robin, a Smackdown competitor, won the Women's Royal Rumble to get a Ladies Championship match at Vegasmania 2 that the Ladies Championship will thus be defended at Elimination Chamber RAW during PayPerView Weekend: Elimination Chamber. Blanchard tells them that next week on RAW they will have a 4 way elimination match with the winner challenging Ladies Champion Trish Stratus at Elimination Chamber RAW!
Match #3: Curt Hennig defeated Pampero Firpo (managed by Rock Riddle) in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match
- Hennig won via The Axe.
- as a result, Hennig wins a spot in the United States Championship Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber RAW where he will be joined by his tag team partner- with whom he has expressed some displeasure in lately- RVD!
- Blanchard's Office: Lou Thesz walks in. Thesz tells Blanchard it is now obvious it was Nick Bockwinkel- who made his VWF debut last night in the Royal Rumble where he proceeded to engage in an out of the ring brawl with Thesz- who was the one sending those threatening notes to him and also to Jimmy Snuka over on Smackdown as Bockwinkel last night was accompanied by Bobby Heenan who hurt his neck at ringside last year while managing Harley Race in a match that also involved him (Thesz) and Snuka. Thesz demands to confront Bockwinkel in the ring next week on RAW!
Match #4: Barry Windham defeated Ivan Koloff in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match
- a good match, Windham ended his recent losing streak by getting the pinfall via his SWEETWATER SUPLEX.
- as a result, Hennig wins a spot in the United States Championship Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber RAW!

I'm LOVING how you run this. Would you be willing to share how you run your royal rumble? I've seen a few methods online but haven't found anything that seems to be easy to use.

I'm LOVING how you run this. Would you be willing to share how you run your royal rumble? 1. for each round, I roll the dice for every possible entrant and the wrestler who gets snake eyes or otherwise the lowest number has to enter the rumble, I choose the wrestler IF the dice give me two or more wrestlers tied for the lowest dice roll 2. In the ring, I pit the current participants against each other in pairs for a total of 8 moves which for me equals 1 round before the next entrant. 3. I then reshuffle in-ring participants so they usually have different opponents against each other in the next round. 4. I repeat steps 1-3. eliminations occur when someone has been pinned (I keep track of fatigue for all 30 participants) when someone rolls out of the ring, their current opponent has to roll above their current PIN to stay in the match or they are eliminated In my ROV fed in the Indy fed forum I actually also have my annual Casino Royale Rumble taking place soon, I will be using the same rules as I listed in this post here. |

The Rumble did not disappoint.
Really enjoyed the first build to the Elimination Chamber. Seems Savage will have his work cut out for him but his card just might be strong enough to do it.
Bockwinkel - Thesz should be great.

- a good match that was twice nearly won by Boogie Woogie Man, Blanchard won after a distraction by Dillon followed by Blanchard nailing the Boogie Woogie Man with his SLINGSHOT SUPLEX.
- as a result, Blanchard will get a chance to regain the World Championship at Elimination Chamber Smackdown
Backstage: Melina tells the Heavenly Bodies that after their win in the preshow at the Royal Rumble she has secured them a World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's match next week on Smackdown.
Match #2: Jimmy Snuka defeated Gorgeous George (accompanied by Exotic Adrian Street) in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match
- Snuka put away his long time enemy George via his SUPERFLY LEAP
- as a result, Snuka, who just lost a match against his friend World Champion Bruiser Brody at last weekend's Royal Rumble, will receive another chance to win the World Championship at Elimination Chamber Smackdown.
Backstage: Magnum TA tells Bryan Danielson that he has been informed they are wrestling each other next week on Smackdown for the final spot in the Elimination Chamber at Elimination Chamber Smackdown.
Match #3: King Kong Bundy defeated Steve "Dr. Death" Williams in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match
- in a surprising result, Bundy defeated Williams by hitting his ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE and thus won a spot in the Elimination Chamber at Elimination Chamber Smackdown
In the Ring: Smackdown General Manager Angelo Poffo with Diamond Dallas Page and Rockin Robin.
- Poffo, who lost by DQ to Buddy Rogers at the Royal Rumble last weekend, said he has received the complaints about the ending of that match sent to his office by Rogers and the other Horsemen and he will address them next week.
- Poffo says he wants to recognize both DDP and Robin who, while representing Smackdown, won the two Royal Rumble matches last weekend at the Royal Rumble and will thus receive championship matches at Vegasmania 2.
- DDP reiterates that he will choose the champion he challenges at Vegasmania 2 after PPV Weekend: Elimination Chamber is over and says, while he obviously will not be inside the Elimination Chamber at Elimination Chamber Smackdown, he wants to issue an open challenge for a match at Elimination Chamber Smackdown!
- Robin starts to talk but is then interrupted by Sherri Martel- the last women eliminated in last weekend's Women's Royal Rumble.
- Martel, the only 2 time Ladies Champion, says she wants to challenge Robin to a singles match at Elimination Chamber Smackdown so she can prove she is the better woman in the ring and thus set up a possible future Ladies Championship match if Rockin Robin somehow wins the Ladies Championship at Vegasmania 2.

- this match marked the Smackdown debut for Abdullah the Butcher who made his VWF debut last weekend in the Royal Rumble match where he had the most eliminations with 6
- Abdullah the Butcher won this match via a Torture Rack slam
- as a result, Abdullah wins a spot in the Elimination Chamber at Elimination Chamber Smackdown.
