Match #2: Sandman defeated Johnny Saint by DQ in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match
- this match ended in DQ when the action spilled out of the ring where Saint, in self-defense. grabbed Sandman's Singapore cane from him but in the process accidentally hit the referee
- as a result, Sandman- the last ever EAWA Champion- wins a spot in the Elimination Chamber which- as Striker and Zbyszko point out on commentary- is a match suited for him
Backstage: Hacksaw Jim Duggan is informed by RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard that next week on RAW he (Dugaan) will take on Ivan Koloff, Pampero Firpo, and Johnny Saint in a second chance 4 way elimination match for the sixth and final "wild card" spot in the Elimination Chamber at Elimination Chamber RAW.
Match #3: Dream Team defeated Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Dennis Condrey) by DQ in a VWF Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's match
- the Dream Team received this #1 Contender's match as a result of winning the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way Elimination tag match at the Royal Rumble
- noticeably absent from the corner of the Midnight Express was Jim Cornette who was reportedly still nursing injuries inflicted upon him by VWF Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors when they gave him a DOOMSDAY DEVICE at the Royal Rumble.
- this match ended in a DQ when Smackdown's Heavenly Bodies- who exchanged some heated words backstage with the Midnight Express at the Royal Rumble- made a surprise appearance and attacked the Dream Team to get Eaton and Condrey intentionally disqualified.
- as a result, the Dream Team will challenge VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors at Elimination Chamber RAW.
In the Ring: Lou Thesz on one side, Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan on the other side
- Thesz tells Heenan that he and Snuka did not intentionally injure his neck when he was ringside for Harley Race in a match last year as it was just a risk associated with being at ringside but after Bockwinkel's attack upon him (Thesz) at the Royal Rumble that he wants to challenge Bockwinkel to a match at Elimination Chamber RAW!
- Suddenly, Thesz is attacked from behind by Ray Stevens- a former Heenan Family member and frequent tag team partner of Bockwinkel during their days together in Major League Wrestling.
- Heenan announces that Thesz will have a match at Elimination Chamber RAW- but it will be against Stevens!
Match #4: VWF Champion Randy Savage defeated Blackjack Mulligan in a non-title match
- for this match, Stan Hansen-who is wrestling both Savage and Mulligan in a triple threat elimination match at Elimination Camber RAW- provided guest color commentary
- the stipulation of this match was that Mulligan- who along with Mulligan is a Survivor Series survivor and thus received a guaranteed match against the current VWF Champion- needed to win (because Savage is also a Survivor Series survivor) to make the triple threat elimination match at Elimination Chamber a VWF Championship match.
- Savage won via his FLYING ELBOW SMASH.
- afterward, an angry Hansen- who next week in a match against Savage faces the same stipulation as Mulligan did tonight- told Striker and Zbyszko he will take care of this himself.

Match #1: Diamond Dallas Page defeated Johnny Mantell
- DDP, who won last month's Royal Rumble to earn a championship match next month at Vegasmania 2, won this match with relative ease via his DIAMOND CUTTER.
Backstage: JJ Dillon tells Smackdown General Manager Angelo Poffo that Johnny Valentine of the Horsemen will be answering DDP's open challenge for a match at Elimination Chamber Smackdown.
Match #2: Rock N' Roll Express defeated the Heavenly Bodies (managed by Melina) in a #1 Contender's match
- This was a really good match as both Striker and Zbyszko remarked that the Heavenly Bodies look much better now that they have accepted the tutelage of Melina.
- This match ended when the Midnight Express from RAW suddenly appeared and distracted the Heavenly Bodies (similar to how the Heavenly Bodies showed up on RAW yesterday to distract the Midnight Express and cause them to lose their own #1 Contender's match against the Dream Team) leading Robert Gibson to tap out Stan Lane via a spinning toe hold.
- As a result, there will be a rematch from the Royal Rumble as the Rock N' Roll Express will again challenge the World Tag Team Champions Fantastics at Elimination Chamber Smackdown
- Afterward, the Midnight Express and the Heavenly Bodies- whose differences between each other began with a backstage confrontation at the Royal Rumble-proceeded to brawl with each other to the back!
In the Ring: Poffo. Poffo says he was wrong to use the steel chair leading to his disqualification in his match last month against Buddy Rogers at the Royal Rumble but Rogers had it coming after that attack upon him in his office last month. Poffo announced he is making a rematch between himself and Rogers at Elimination Chamber Smackdown- but this time it will be a last man standing match!
Match #3: Magnum TA defeated Bryan Danielson in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match
- Magnum TA won via his BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX to win the final spot in the Elimination Chamber at Elimination Chamber Smackdown.

- in a matchup involving 4 of the 6 competitors in the upcoming Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber Smackdown, Bundy and the Butcher got the victory when Bundy nailed Snuka with his ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE for the pinfall victory.
- afterward, as Bundy and the Butcher got their hands raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko that it was also the ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE- one of the most powerful finishers in all of the VWF- by which Bundy defeated Steve "Dr. Death" Williams last week on Smackdown to qualify for the Elimination Chamber and wonder aloud if the move will lead Bundy to capturing the World Championship in the Elimination Chamber at Elimination Chamber Smackdown as the show comes to an end.

- for this match, the Armstrongs provided guest color commentary where they said they, the Midnight Bees, Zhukov/Smirnoff, and the debuting Texas Hangmen are booked for the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way Elimination match at Elimination Chamber RAW!
- The Midnight Bees won when "The Rocker" Marty Janetty pinned Smirnoff following the ROCKER DROPPER.

Backstage: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard tells the Midnight Express (who are still without Jim Cornette after Cornette got hit with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE by the Road Warriors at the Royal Rumble) that, following their interference against the Heavenly Bodies last week on Smckdowmn that was preceded by the Heavenly Bodies Bodies attack upon them last week on RAW, he and Smackdown General Manager Angelo Poffo have decided that the Midight Express vs the Heavenly Bodies will happen at Vegasmania 2- one of the only nights where RAW wrestlers can wrestle Smackdown wrestlers in a match! Blanchard also said he and Blanchard have also agreed that before Vegasmania 2 there will be 2 singles matches between the Midnight Express- Bobby Eaton vs Tom Prichard at Elimination Chamber RAW and Dennis Condrey vs Stan Lane at Elimination Chamber Smackdown!
Match #3: Pampero Firpo (managed by Rock Riddle) defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Ivan Koloff, and Johnny Saint in a 4 way elimination Elimination Chamber Qualifying match
- Duggan pinned Saint via FLYING SPEAR
- Firpo pinned Koloff after EL GARFIO. Afterward, Koloff hit Duggan with a RUSSIAN SICKLE.
- Firpo pinned a dazed Duggan via EL GARFIO
- as a result, Firpo wins the final "wild card" spot in the elimination chamber at Elimination Chamber RAW!
