Match #1: Sherri Martel defeated Princes Victoria
- Princess Victoria gave Martel some early trouble but Martel, the only 2 time Ladies Champion and who is wrestling this year's Womens Royal Rumble winner Rockin Robin in a match at Elimination Chamber Smackdown, gained control of the match and won via her TOP ROPE SPLASH.
Backstage: Smackdown General Manager Angelo Poffo tells the Miracle Violence Connection that, following each of their unsuccessful attempts to win spots in the Elimination Chamber at Elimination Chamber Smackdown, he is going back to booking them together as a tag team in a match against the Vachons in a match at Elimination Chamber Smackdown!
Match #2: Intercontinental Champion Harley Race defeated George South in a non-title match
- South shocked everyone by gaining 2 quick pinfall attempts on Race. Race however avoided the monumental upset and won via his PILEDRIVER finisher.
- afterward Bryan Danielson appeared and told Race since neither one of them has a match yet for Elimination Chamber Smackdown that he is challenging him (Race) to a match at Elimination Chamber Smackdown!
Backstage: As they are getting ready for their tag match tonight, Boogie Wqoogie Man and Brian Christopher are approached by Poffo who tells them at Elimination Chamber Smackdown they will again be taking on their opponents tonight Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff but also the Sheepherders and Gorgeously Exotic in the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way Elimination match.
Match #3: Ricky Morton (accompanied by Robert Gibson) defeated World Tag Team Champion Tommy Rogers (accompanied by World Tag Team Champion Bobby Fulton) by DQ
- less than 2 weeks before the Rock N' Roll Express challenge the Fantastics for the World Tag Team Championship at Elimination Chamber Smackdown, this match ended in a surprising DQ when Rogers shockingly gave Morton a low kick in front of the referee.
- as Rogers and Fulton walk off while Gibson tends to Morton, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud if this signals an attitude change for the Fantastics?
Backstage: Poffo tells World Champion Bruiser Brody and Jimmy Snuka that next week on Smackdown they will team with Magnum TA against Tully Blanchard, King Kong Bundy, and Abdullah the Butcher in an Elimination Chamber preview match!
Match #4: Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (both managed by Shawn Daivari) defeated Boogie Woogie Man and Brian Christopher
- Sheik and Volkoff won this match when Volkoff pinned Boogie Woogie Man after a throat drop on ropes.

Match #1: Johnny Saint defeated Bruiser Costa
- Costa gave Saint Some trouble but Saint won via his THREE IN ONE
- afterward Saint said, despite his unsuccessful attempts to win a spot in the Elimination Chamber, he still wants a match at Elimination Chamber RAW this weekend. Lenny Lane appeared and said he would wrestle Saint at this weekend's PPV.
Backstage: RAW General Manager Joe Blnnchard tells Nora Greenwald, Tina Moretti, and Judy Martin he plans to make this weekend's RAW Elimination Chamber a historical PPV because, in addition to the already announced matchup of Ladies Champion Trish Stratus vs Jazz, he plans to add a second women's match on a PPV- all 3 of them in a triple threat!
Match #2: Armstrongs defeated the Midnight Bees
- in match featuring 2 of the 4 tag teams (along with Boris Zhukov/Alexis Smirnoff and the debuting Texas Hangmen) in the announced Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way Elimination match at Elimination Chamber RAW, the Armstrongs won when Brad Armstrong pinned "The Rocker" Marty Jannetty via a back drop.
Backstage: Upset at receiving that unexpected RUSSIAN SICKLE from Ivan Koloff last week on RAW, Hacksaw Jim Duggan demands and receives from Blanchard a match against Koloff at Elimination Chamber RAW!
Match #3: Stan Hansen defeated Blackjack Mulligan
- for this match, VWF Champion Randy Savage (who is wrestling both Hansen and Mulligan in a non-title triple threat elimination match at Elimination Chamber RAW this weekend) provided guest color commentary
- although it will be a non-title matchup on Sunday as a result of both Hansen and Mulligan failing to defeat Savage (all 3 of whom were Survivor Series survivors) in a singles match the last two weeks on RAW, Striker, Zbyskzo, and Savage all pointed out that Sunday's triple threat elimination match still will be very important as if either Hansen or Mulligan eliminates Savage then they will receive a VWF Championship match against Savage at Vegasmania 2.
