Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Smackdown #34 April 26th, Year 2 Las Vegas, NV
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
In the Ring: Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long
- Long says he is going to start this show by introducing the new Intercontinental Champion Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
- Duggan appears wearing the Intercontinental Championship which he won at Judgment Day and is the first title he has ever won during his MLW/VWF tenure.
- Long tells Duggan his first challenger will be determined in tonight's main event.
Match #1: Brian Christopher defeated Johnny Mantel in a Cruiserweight Championship #1 Contender's match
- Mantell controlled the majority of this match but Christopher got the win via his HIP HOP DANCE.
- As a result, Christopher will get a title shot against Cruiserweight Champion Gorgeous George.
Backstage: World Tag Team Champions Rock N' Roll Express sign up to compete in the MLW Memorial Cup and are informed they will be either a #1 or a #2 seed.
Match #2: Candi Divine defeated Susan Green
- both women were making their in-ring VWF debuts in this match
- during this match, Striker and Zbyszko said they just received breaking news that on the first two days of the MLW Memorial Cup there will be a Ladies Championship #1 Contender's Tournament involving all the women on the Smackdown roster with the winner challenging Ladies Champion Sherri Martel on Day 4 of the MLW Memorial Cup!
- Divine won this match quickly via CROSS BODY BLOCK.
- As Divine gets her hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko wonder aloud how far Divine- who outside of the VWF had a notable feud with Martel- will go in the upcoming Ladies Championship #1 Contender's Tournament.
Backstage: Armstrongs sign up for the MLW Memorial Cup
Match #3: Fantastics defeated James Gang
- As this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko mentioned that both of these tag teams have been added to the MLW Memorial Cup.
- The Fantastics won when Tommy Rogers pinned Kip James after the PRESS SLAM/SPLASH performed in tandem with Bobby Fulton as the Fantastics- the most recent World Tag Team Champions before dropping the championship to the Rock N' Roll Express, looked determined to stay in the picture for the World Tag Team Championship. As the Fantastics get their hands raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko say they will be a tough out in the MLW Memorial Cup.
Backstage: Sheepherders sign up for the MLW Memorial Cup
Match #4: Killer Kowalski defeated Magnum T.A., Fit Finlay (accompanied by David Taylor,) and Abdullah the Butcher in an Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender's elimination match
- before this match started, Finlay announced he and Taylor will be an entry in the MLW Memorial Cup.
- these participants were the 3 wrestlers (Magnum TA, Finlay, and Abdullah the Butcher) who lost in the Intercontinental Championship Tournament at Judgment Day along with Kowalski who won the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 Way elimination match at Judgment Day.
- Magnum TA pinned Abdullah the Butcher via BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX
- Finlay pinned Magnum TA via TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER
- Kowalski pinned Finlay via a backbreaker
- As a result, Kowalski will challenge Duggan next week for the Intercontinental Championship.

Match #1: Sam Houston and "Cowboy" Scott Casey defeated the Bolsheviks
- as this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko said they have been informed that both of these tag teams have been entered into the MLW Memorial Cup.
- a really good tag team match, Casey and Houston got the win here when Casey pinned Boris Zhukov via a reverse neckbreaker
Backstage: Gorgeously Exotic have entered the MLW Memorial Cup!
Match #2: "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith defeated D'Lo Brown (accompanied by Mr. Hughes)
- before this match started, Brown announced that he and Mr. Hughes will be entering the MLW Memorial Cup together!
- The British Bulldog bounced back from an overall disappointing performance at Backlash to win this match via a gorilla powerslam
Backstage: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard tells Bobby Heenan that, as a result of what happened last week on RAW, next week it will be Jimmy Snuka and Bobo Brazil against the Heenan Family's Blackjack Mulligan and King Kong Bundy!
Match #3: Jazz, Tina Moretti, and Nora Greenwald defeated the Fabulous Moolah, Beverly Shade, and Tina Rose
- this match marked the in-ring debuts for Moolah, Shade, and Rose
- For this match which involved 6 of her competitors in the upcoming Vixens Championship Tournament at the MLW Memorial Cup, Trish Straus provided guest color commentary. Stratus revealed that, as the only former Ladies Champion among the 9 participants, she has been awarded the #2 seed in the Vixens Championship Tournament as Jazz had already clinched the #1 seed due to her winning the ladies gauntlet match at Backlash.
- Jazz looked great in this match and demonstrated that the momentum she earned from her dominating performance at Backlash continues. However it was Moretti who scored the pinfall when she pinned Moolah (who surprisingly struggled in this match) via her JUMPING FACE BUSTER.

- DiBiase says The Cabinet will have two different entries in the MLW Memorial Cup: himself and Hennig, and also the Valiants.
Match #1: Texas Hangmen defeated Body Donnas
- As this match was beginning, Striker and Zbyszko mentioned that both of these tag teams have been entered into the MLW Memorial Cup.
- The Body Donnas controlled most of this match but the Texas Hangmen got the win when Killer put away Tom Prichard via HANGMEN BACKBREAKER after getting away with a low blow.
Backstage: Juventud Guerrera and Konnan agree to become a tag team to enter the MLW Memorial Cup together.
Match #2: Vampiro defeated Mikey Whipwreck
- Vampiro picked up an easy victory via NAIL IN THE COFFIN
- Backstage: Shane Douglas approaches Brass Knuckles Champion Jerry Lynn. Douglas suggests they form a tag team of a current champion (Lynn) and of a future champion (himself) to enter the MLW Memorial Cup together and Lynn agrees.
Match #3: EAWA Tag Team Champions Vachons (managed by The Sicilian) defeated Rob Van Dam and Curt Hennig in a non-title match
- RVD and Hennig controlled most of this match but the Vachons stole a victory when Butcher Vachon put away RVD via HANGMAN after The Sicilian smashed RVD in the face with his cane.
