Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) Smackdown #35 May 3rd, Year 2 Las Vegas, NV
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
Match #1: The Conways defeated the Quebecers
- as this match was starting, Striker and Zbyszko commented that both of these tag teams have now been entered into the MLW Memorial Cup
- this was a rematch from Judgment Day that had been won by the Quebecers, but the Conways won this match when Tiger Conway Sr. pinned Pierre Carl Oullett via QUADRUPLE HEAD BUTT.
Backstage: Johnny Mantell and "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal sign up to enter the MLW Memorial Cup together
Match #2: Mildred Burke defeated Ida Mae Martinez
- for this match, Ladies Champion Sherri Martel- who will be defending the Ladies Championship at Day 4 of the MLW Memorial Cup against the winner of the upcoming Ladies Championship #1 Contender's Tournament- provided guest color commentary.
- both women were making their VWF debuts in this match, although Martinez is a former (and the first ever) Ladies Champion based on her previous time in MLW.
- Martinez was competitive but Burke controlled most of this match and defeated the former Ladies Champion with her ALLIGATOR CLUTCH. As Striker and Zbyszko wondered whether Burke's performance here would earn her the #1 seed in the #1 contender's tournament, Martel said she is not worried about Burke.
Backstage: The Taylors register for the MLW Memorial Cup
Match #3: Brian Christoper (accompanied by Boogie Woogie Man) defeated Cruiserweight Champion Gorgeous George (accompanied by Exotic Adrian Street) by DQ
- Before this match started, George (a RAW roster member) bragged that he will be leaving Smackdown as he arrived tonight and that is with the Cruiserweight Championship.
- Before this match started, Christoper said he brought out the Boogie Woogie Man- who will be teaming with him in the MLW Memorial Cup- to counter the ringside presence of Street.
- George got himself DQd by raking the face of Christopher with his Georgie pins
- As a result, Christopher was the winner but George retained the Cruiserweight Championship
In the Ring: The Horsemen (Buddy Rogers, Tully Blanchard, Johnny Valentine, and manager JJ Dillon)
- The Horsemen announced for the MLW Memorial Cup that Rogers will team with Blanchard and Dillon has arranged for Valentine to team with non-Horseman Ivan Koloff.
Match #4: Intercontinental Champion Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Killer Kowalski (accompanied by Abdullah the Butcher)
- Kowalski brought Abdullah the Butcher with him to ringside and said he will now be guiding the career of Abdullah who will also be his tag team partner in the MLW Memorial Cup!
- It seemed as if Kowalski was about to win the Intercontinental Championship thanks partly due to interference from Abdullah. But then Magnum TA (who has been in the ring recently with Duggan) appeared and pummeled Abdullah and thus distracted Kowalski which allowed Diggan to recover. Duggan managed to regain the offensive and shortly afterward won the match via his Tough Guy Clothesline.
- as a result, Duggan retained the Intercontinental Championship.
- afterward, Duggan and Magnum TA agreed to enter the MLW Memorial Cup together as tonight's show came to an end.

Backstage: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard approaches Diamond Dallas Page. Blanchard says he is looking to compete in the MLW Memorial Cup and asks if DDP would like to be his tag team partner for the tournament. DDP laughs and says no because Blanchard is too old and slow. Blanchard reacts by telling DDP 1) there are not many wrestlers left to choose a partner for the tournament so, since DDP does not want to team with him, he (DDP) is now automatically assigned to team with Alexis Smirnoff, 2) he (Blanchard) will show DDP he (Blanchard) is not too old or slow because DDP now has a match against him (Blanchard) next week on RAW!
Match #2: Bolsheviks defeated Stars and Stripes
- The Bolsheviks got this victory when Nikolai Volkoff pinned Marcus Alexander Bagwell via BACKBREAKER DROP.
- As a result, the Bolsheviks avenged their loss at Backlash to Stars and Stripes who have thus now also suffered their first defeat in the VWF.

Match #3: "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith defeated Val Venis
- Last month at Backlash, Venis won the Vegas Traditional Opening 4 way elimination match by eliminating Smith last. But in this 1 on 1 matchup, Smith prevailed via his RUNNING POWERSLAM.
- Afterward, Barry Windham appeared saying he still needs to find a tag partner for this month's MLW Memorial Cup and asked Smith if he wanted yo enter the tournament with him and Smith said yes.

Vixen's seeding is interesting. The 5 seed recently pinned the 3 seed. Some amazing action on all three shows and MLW Memorial Cup should be a banger.

A lot of good action going on! Vader putting away Gordy was expected but sad! I met Gordy when was younger in World Class and he was pretty nice! ( I think I was like 15 or so...so, I might have a skewed opinion) Your dice are on fire recently and it is hard to keep up.
