what's your thoughts on the winners? Great series sir! Thanks! I was not too surprised by Rogers and Blanchard winning as I had them as one of my 4 #2 seeds, I would say they were probably 1 of about 10 tag teams I thought had a realistic shot at winning the annual MLW Memorial Cup. I however was definitely surprised by some of the upsets that happened along the way such as the MVC losing in the First Round and the Road Warriors not making the Final Four.

Thanks to everyone who followed my annual (in terms of game time) MLW Memorial Cup! Some side notes about the winners Rogers and Blanchard (who are both members of my Horsemen faction:) Rogers is arguably the most accomplished wrestler in the history of my LOW fed as he has held 7 Major championships (a record 5 times MLW Champion, 1 time World Champion, 1 time VWF Champion,) and a Royal Rumble win so this is another big notch for him in the record book. Blanchard held the World Championship for 4 months the previous game year so Rogers/Blanchard were definitely going to be a tough out. For the 2nd straight MLW Memorial Cup, the Rock N' Roll Express lose in the Finals. Since the Rock N' Roll Express are my current World Tag Team Champions and on the same brand (Smackdown) as Rogers and Blanchard, I might need to have Rogers and Blanchard now challenge the Rock N' Roll Express for the World Tag Team Championship in a Best 2 out of 3 Falls match (the way all my tag team championships get defended.)

Awesome tournament Vegas! I too was very surprised The Roadies got taken out before the final four and MVC got upset. Are you planning to use the Freebirds full time or were they just a one off for tournament?

Are you planning to use the Freebirds full time or were they just a one off for tournament? No, all those bootlegs I used in the tournament were (with the exception of Bob Backlund who I may put in a front office role depending how his feud goes with Ted DiBiase) just making special attraction appearances. But I was glad to use the Freebirds to help set up a feud between Steve Williams and Terry Gordy.

BREAKING NEWS:
Following the MLW Memorial Cup, RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard has decided that VWF Champion Randy Savage will defend his championship against both of his two most recent challengers Lou Thesz and Nick Bockwinkel in a triple threat match at Vengeance- the next RAW PPV!
However, Blanchard has also declared that if Savage pins either Thesz or Bockwinkel then that wrestler will no longer be able to challenge for the VWF Championship during Savage's current reign!

A little late but one helluva job by The Rock n Rolls to get back to the finals again only to be turned away again. Congrats to Blanchard & Rogers as well as J J Dillon for getting it done.
