Although every match is potentially epic when talking about the star-studded rosters available in the Legends brand, I always get particularly excited when I see a showdown scheduled between 'Macho Man' Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page... It's a shame that only one will qualify for the upcoming RAW Money in the Bank match... Stoked!

Vegas Wrestling Federation (VWF) RAW #78 July 3rd, Year 2
- commentators: Matt Striker and Larry Zbyszko
In the Ring: RAW General Manager Joe Blanchard says he will start tonight's show by introducing new Vixen's Champion Jazz.
- Jazz, who won the Vixen's Championship at Vengeance by defeating the Fabulous Moolah, appears with her newly won Vixens Championship and is told her first title defense will be at Money in the Bank: RAW against the winner of this next match.
Match #1: Trish Stratus defeated Fabulous Moolah, Nora Greenwald, and Tina Moretti in a Vixen's Championship #1 Contender's elimination match
- for this match to determine her challenger at Money in the Bank: RAW, Vixen's Champion Jazz provided guest color commentary
- Stratus defeated Greenwald via STRATUSFACTION in just 2 moves.
- Stratus defeated Moretti via STRATUSFACTION.
- Stratus and Moolah had a great battle as the final two combatants. Stratus however defeated Moolah via STRATUSFACTION.
- As she gets her hand raised in victory, Striker and Zbyszko point out that Stratus also defeated Melina at Vengeance and is thus currently on a very hot winning streak going into her title opportunity at Money in the Bank: RAW.
- Afterward, a frustrated Moolah told Stratus and Jazz that she is going to make sure that whoever wins at Money in the Bank: RAW will have to deal with her at Summerslam!
Backstage: Blanchard tells the Stars and Stripes since July is a very patriotic month that he is going to have them once again take on their enemies the Bolsheviks at Money in the Bank: RAW- but this time it will be in a tag team bootcamp match!
Match #2: King Kong Bundy (managed by Bobby Heenan,) defeated Bobo Brazil, Barry Windham, and Blackjack Mulligan (managed by Heenan) in a United States Championship #1 Contender's elimination match
- Mulligan pinned Windham via a lariat
- Brazil pinned Mulligan via a Bobo body slam
- This left just Brazil and his enemy Bundy. Bundy got the victory via his ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE.
- As a result, per previously announced match stipulation, Bundy will challenge for the United States Championship at Money in the Bank: RAW and Brazil as the runner-up in this match receives a spot in the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match as a consolation.
Backstage: Blanchard is approached by Exotic Adrian Street. Street (who last week on RAW lost a Money in the Bank Qualifying match to Ray Stevens) says, since it will be the EAWA brand's turn to receive the Cruiserweight Championship match at Money in the Bank weekend, he knows he will not be able to get another shot at his former friend Cruiserweight Champion Gorgeous George at Money in the Bank: RAW. Street however asks is he could however get another shot to qualify for the RAW Money in the Bank RAW match as tonight DDP is getting a 2nd such opportuity.
- Blanchard tells Street he has some good news for him. Next week on RAW, he will not only give Street another match- but it will be non-title- against George, he will announce a way that all the unsuccessful competitors in the qualifying matches- and possibly some other wrestlers too- can get the 6th and final spot in the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match!
Match #3: United States Champion Jimmy Snuka defeated "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith
- Snuka won this match via a piledriver.
- As a result, Snuka retains the United States Championship and will thus next defend against Bundy at Money in the Bank: RAW while Smith instead retains his previously earned spot in the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match.
Backstage: Blanchard is talking to the VWF Tag Team Champions Road Warriors.
- Blanchard tells the Road Warriors, who are defending their championship against the Midnight Express this month at Money in the Bank: RAW, they need to find a tag team partner for next week because he has accepted Melina's request and booked them in a 6 man tag match against the Midnight Express and Mr. Hughes!
Match #4: Randy Savage defeated Diamond Dallas Page in a RAW Money in the Bank Qualifying match
- Savage defeated his enemy DDP via FLYING ELBOW SMASH to qualify for the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match at Money in the Bank: RAW!
- As Savage stands on the top turnbuckle in victory, Striker and Zbyszko point out that last year Savage won the Money in the Bank ladder match and then cashed in at Summerslam to win the VWF Championship to start a 10 month championship reign and wondered aloud if history could perhaps repeat itself again this year as tonight's show comes to an end.

Very cool that we're going to see Macho Man in the Money in the Bank match once again... And I'm interested to see who the Roadies pick up as a third for their upcoming match against Midnight Express and Mr Hughes.
Really hope that Vampiro knocks the blazes out of Sandman in their upcoming showdown... Great stuff!

Bob Backlund?!?! Is Vegas using bootlegs? I am shook And Vader losing... I am using a Backlund bootleg. Backlund right now is feuding with DiBiase as he wants to get an executive job in the VWF so either he wins the feud and gets the job (in which case he won't be wrestling much) or he loses the feud and goes away. Either way I am just using the Backlund card temporarily. I might also occasionally use the Sgt. Slaughter bootleg I wrote stats for once I get the chance to print it out. Vader losing a match is definitely very unusual for me.
