Awesome that Thesz finally managed to secure that first win... Now that his slump is broken, I've gotta feeling we're going to see a quick climb in the rankings...
Dominating performance by the Whole F'n Show against one half of the fearsome Road Warriors... Hoping this is a preview of things to come when he and Lynn get their tag title rematch...

I've been looking for a new team name since I remembered that the Hardy's and Lita called themselves Team extreme, plus it's over used anyway IMO. Cage matches are going to be used very sparingly in this fed for big feud blow offs, I want them to 'mean' something. |

Cage matches are going to be used very sparingly in this fed for big feud blow offs, I want them to 'mean' something. Plan on using the same approach... I remember 'back in the day' when even a no DQ match was a pretty rare occurrence... Something I want to emulate in my own Legends fed as well... And 'mean something' they will, my friend... Without a doubt! |

SMOOTHIE KING CENTER IRON SHEIK & NIKOLAI VOLKOFF/w/ Lou Albano beat by PIN TUGBOAT 2 & CHAZ TAYLOR * The Sheik put the big Tugboat down with a Sidewinder Suplex and the put him away with Belly To Belly Suplex.   STEVE CORINO 1/w/ Kevin Sullivan pinned MARTY JANNETTY 3* The Army Of Darkness entrance was an eerie spectacle to bold, hypnotic music and purplish lighting filled the arena. Sullivan's creepy antics along with Corino, in a hooded purple robe, walking like a zombie to the ring and the Pyscho Twins, Leva Bates & Courtney Rush, acting like a couple evil succubus - tempting and taunting the crowd. Jannetty put Corino down quick with a drop kick as Corino seemed still in a trance. Sullivan yelled something in a different tongue to Corino and the King Of Old School seemed to snap out of it and began to roll Jannetty. Two Old School Lariats put the rocker down and a Old School Suplex put him away.     "Bruise Brody........... I tried to help you and was even generous enough to make you an offer to join the army and you have so far ignored me. You have until the end of the night Bruiser Brody, you're either with us or....against us. I hope you make the right decision, for your sake."THE DESTROYER & PAMPERO FIRPO 2vs. FLAMBOYANCE : GORGEOUS GEORGE 3 & DALTON CASTLE 2/w/ Cherie Dupre & The Boys * Good solid match right up to the end when George sprayed Firpo in the eyes with his hairspray, but the ref saw it and called for the bell.   LOU THESZpinned GREG 'THE HAMMER' VALENTINE /w/ Brutus Beefcake * Thesz hit a QUICK Greco-Roman Back Drop for the FAST win!!! The back of Valentine's head rocked off the canvas in the impact and had to helped to the back by Beefcake. I'm no doctor but I'm betting he has a concussion. * Thesz is starting to build some momentum and his popularity is building as well with his new no nonsense rough style.  JERRY LYNN 2pinned ROADWARRIOR HAWK 4* Hawk dominated early but then....... Lynn EXPLODED!!! A TKO started it, followed by 3 Cradle Piledrivers and then by a top rope huracanrana and one more Cradle Piledriver for good measure!!! WOW!!!  CURT 2 & LARRY 'THE AXE' HENNIGbeat by SUBTHE BLONDE BOMBERS : 'PRETTY BOY' BOBBY HEENAN & G.W.F. HERITAGE CHAMPION 'THE' WORLD CHAMPION : 'THE NATURE BOY' BUDDY ROGERS * Rogers dominated Curt and seemed to be cruising to an easy win but an over zealous Heenan wanted tagged in to be there hero. The Nature Boy reluctantly made the tag, Curt reversed his first move - locked in a Sleeper, the Axe cut off Rogers, and Bobby went beddy bye.   *Backstage Dibiase stops Duggan on his way to the ring.  "Relax..... I'm not here to fight.... I just want to wish you luck, after all we did use to be friends, remember the Rat Pack? Good times.... I also just wanted to tell you that Brazil has been talking behind your back, saying you don't deserve a shot at his title and how bad he's going to beat you...... Anyway, go get 'em tough guy." Pats Hacksaw on the back and walks off as Duggan has a confused look on his face. G.W.F. NORTHAMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH
BOBO BRAZIL (C)pinned 'HACKSAW' JIM DUGGAN 4* The champ used Hammer Punches and Coco Butts to pummel and ultimately pin the tough as nail Duggan. After the match Brazil offered his hand in sportsmanship but Duggan just ignored him, rolled out of the ring, grabbed his 2x4 and walked to the back.  STEEL CAGE MATCH!
BRUISER BRODY 5pinned 'SUPERFLY' JIMMY SNUKA 4* Incredible match with way too much action to call here but the end came when Snuka missed a deathjump from atop the cage!!! Brody then hit two straight Jumping Knee Drops for the win!  * After the match the cage door was opened and Kevin Sullivan came out and got in the ring. "Join us Bruiser Brody, be my destroyer......."A bloody Brody seemed to go into a trance as Sullivan laughed and then...... WHAM!!! A Big Boot dropped the evil Taskmaster where he stood. "I ain't nobodies puppet and I serve noone, especially a sick f#@k like you." Walks out of the cage to the deafening roar of the sold out arena. |

Enjoyed the spectacle created by the arrival of Sullivan's Army... But, not as much as I enjoyed the big boot that Brody delivered to Sullivan's face... Snap!
Jerry Lynn and RVD both hold individual wins over the Road Warriors... Combine that with the technical decision over the reigning tag champs... And I think that equals imminent gold... Really looking forward to the title rematch...
Thesz continues to look stronger with each outing... And the pot stirring by DiBiase is nothing short of delicious... Looks like his words had a bit of an effect on Duggan too...
Great story development and the action is always top notch... Excellent work!
