* Bruiser Brody has been indefinitely suspended and fined an undisclosed amount of money by the N.W.A., for his heinous chain attack on referee Nick Patrick.
* The N.W.A. and UWF both have made contract offers to unsigned free agent STING. He's been competing on N.W.A. cards, but inside sources say he's leaning towards signing with the UWF.
* Bob Armstrong just signed to compete with his son in the UWF and should make his debut very soon.
* BUDDY ROGERS along with his manager BOBBY HEENAN will be returning to the N.W.A. after a short tour of the Orient.
* LOU THESZ has been wrestling in the Midwest, Iowa mostly, and won a tournament for the Heritage World Championship and promoters in the area are calling him the 'true' WORLD CHAMPION.

Even though the show was plagued by a couple of DUD matches, that main event certainly delivered... Very impressed that Gordy was able to retain against Dr Death... And that energetic performance by the Rn'R Express brought them a big win over Cornette's duo...

Pleased to see that Buddy Rogers is returning from his recent tour and looking forward to watching him rekindle his feud with Flair... Great stuff!

The show opens with BUDDY ROGERS and his manager BOBBY HEENAN in the ring. Heenan has a mic and does all the talking as Rogers struts around the with his white towel around his neck.
MAJOR HEAT from the sold out PNC Center - "You humanoids need to shut your mouths and show some respect for your world champion!" The boos and jeers only grow louder.. "That's right, Buddy Rogers is the rightful N.W.A. World champion, as he never said the words 'I QUIT' in his match against the fake Nature Boy.... If I remember correctly and I'm sure I do, it was an I QUIT MATCH!!!..... I digress though... Mr. Rogers now has a three part agenda and plans to see said agenda through to the end. First on the list is the fake nature boy RIC FLAIR! Rogers wants a match so he can take back what is rightfully his and that's the TEN POUNDS OF GOLD. Second, is HARLEY RACE!!... Buddy spent a week in the hospital after the THREE illegal piledriver in Washington DC and plans on putting you in a hospital bed with a cast on your leg... Last but not least is RANDY SAVAGE.... The Macho Man runs around here talking about his REIGN OF MADNESS and how great he is, but Mr. Rogers beat you clean in Washington DC. Now he wants another match with Savage, this time with the belt on the line."
Heenan is interrupted by N.W.A. WORLD TV CHAMPION RANDY SAVAGE who came on stage with a microphone.

"You want a shot at 'THE' belt??.... THE MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE'S WORLD TV TITLE BELT??.... YOU GOT IT!!! OHHH YEEAAAH!!!!.... See you next week brother..."

- These guys were both throwing bombs from the opening bell and Lex wowed the crowd with an impressive Press Slam for the pin!

- Sullivan was irate and started verbally belittling Humongous in the ring and finally went too far with a slap.



- After the slap, Humongous grabbed Sullivan by the throat and delivered a thunderous choke slam! He then slowly took off the hockey mask and threw in on Kevin's prone body.


"MY NAME IS VICIOUS!!!... SID VICIOUS!!"






IVAN KOLOFF 1 & BORIS ZHUKOV

DUSTY RHODES 5 & ROB VAN DAM

- Dusty took a beating early but managed to try a hot tag, but was met with roundhouse kick from RVD!!! Van Dam then jumped off the apron and headed to the back, leaving big Dust in a handicap match! It didn't take long for Ivan to land a Russian Sickle that put Rhodes down for the count.
** 1/2* Shock value alone...








* BUDDY ROGERS and BOBBY HEENAN came out to do guest commentary for the next match.




HARLEY RACE 2

BIG VAN VADER 4

- Race had the match won after a Vertical Suplex followed by a Piledriver, but Heenan distracted the referee by jumping on the apron. Rogers slid in the ring behind Race and locked Harley in the Figure Four Grapevine after a chop block to the back of the knee and refused to break the hold. Finally several officials were able to pry Race free but the damage was done!!!

* Backstage, Louden Noxious catches up to RVD and ask him why he did what he did to Dusty Rhodes.

"Why?..... Isn't it obvious?... I'm sick of being passed up and ignored... I finally realized that if you want to get noticed, then you have to do something to make them notice you....... and that's what did."

- A STYLES CLASH ended an phenomenal match, pun intended, and cemented AJ's legacy in the LOW universe.

- Of course Rogers and Heenan came to ringside and distracted Flair, allowing Mulligan to blindside Flair with a Lariat that almost beheaded him. Heenan stopped Dillon from interfering and three seconds later we have a new champion!!! WOW!

The REAL Nature Boy was on the warpath... Race and Flair have already reaped the rewards of crossing him... Does not bode well for Savage's run as NWA World TV champ... Could the REIGN of MADNESS be coming to an end? You know what they say about things coming in 3's...

Congrats to Blackjack Mulligan on becoming the new NWA World Heavyweight champ... However, I think we all know where the true credit lies...

So pleased that RVD plastered the American Dream in order to make the rest of the world sit up and take notice... Time for the Whole F'n Show to step into the spotlight...

And speaking of which... Another PHENOMENAL title defense for AJ Styles... Really can't wait to see who the next challenger will be... Step right up!

Really like Madison Rayne being matched up with Candido and Prichard... Definitely something I might borrow in the future...

I hope Savage does drop the TV strap to Rogers, so I can push him toward the TEN POUNDS OF GOLD. If he beats Rogers then that really hurts Rogers push and his agenda.
