Appreciate the kind words sir, very much so.

I grew up on Georgia Championship Wrestling and The Mad Dog was one of my all time favorites. When I found the bootleg made by justme, with the superb Wrener art, there was NO DOUBT he was P3 bound.

Now if only there was an AUSTIN IDOL, MONGOLIAN STOMPER, MR. WRESTLING I & II and Ole Anderson...

* As suspected Superstar made quick work of G.S., but things got interesting after the match when The 'Sensational' Destroyer showed up at ringside and challenged the Masked Superstar.

MAGNUM TA 1 defeated KIMALA "The Ugandan Giant" 3 /w/ Friday by PIN /w/ Belly To Belly Suplex

* Magnum survived an Ugandan Slash and fought back to get the hard earned win...







NATIONAL HWT. CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH
CHAIN MATCH!
AJ STYLES 4 defeated BUZZ SAWYER 6 (C) /w/ Kevin Sullivan by PIN /w/ Styles Clash

* Phenomenal back and forth match that could have gone either way, as AJ fought off Sullivan interference and survived two Power Slams. Styles was eventually able to create some separation from the Mad Dog's smothering offense and started hitting his high flying, high impact maneuvers. By the end both guys were a bloody mess, as the chain was used a lot.








TEXAS DEATH 'BOUNTY' MATCH
N.W.A. NORTHAMERICAN CHAMPION BARRY WINDHAM 3 defeated THE MIDNIGHT RIDER 4 by PIN

* The Rider landed an Elbow Drop but The Widowmaker kicked out right before Nick Patrick's hand hit the mat a third time. Dusty.... *cough*…. The Rider then went high risk with a deathjump but J.J. Dillon showed up out of nowhere and pushed the big masked man off the top turnbuckle. The Rider crashed hard into the ring and from there was easy pickings for the Blackjack Claw!





* After the match, Windham and Dillon double teamed the downed Rider and tried to unmask him... Magnum TA charged the ring, but the Horsemen bailed out of the ring and retreated to the back.





WCCW AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE MATCH
KEVIN & KERRY VON ERICH (C) defeated THE FABULOUS FREEBIRDS : MICHAEL HAYES & BUDDY ROBERTS by PIN

* There was no punches pulled in this fast and furious match, like all Von Erich and Freebird prior encounters. Roberts shoulders were counted down while he was locked in Kerry's Iron Claw, as Kevin and Michael slugged it out on the outside. WILD MATCH!!!

* David took Gary Hart out early, when he tried to interfere, and cruised to an easy win over a double tough challenger...
* The Von Erich's are rock stars here in Dallas, all of Texas for that matter!

David was being groomed for a LONG NWA title run, before the tragic end in Japan. Flair even admitted he might not have the title history he did if David didn't go.
Flair/Race vs. DVE for the NWA title might be in the 'cards' in the near future.

I'm hoping the masked feud between Superstar and Destroyer is a good one. Superstar was always one of my favorites.

* Flair had a crimson mask when Race landed a ring shaking Vertical Suplex for the 1.2.. Flair got a foot on the bottom rope!!! Harley went for a flying crossbody from the top turnbuckle (deathjump) but Flair rolled through and with a hook of the tights it was over!!! Dillon was conspicuous by his absence, but we're sure the Bamm Bamm Slam on the floor had nothing to do with it.
