RVD wins his 'FIRST' title in the G.W.F. and he made it count with the BIG one. Your front row seat and V.I.P. package is already waiting on you sir.

- Sullivan and Heidi both interfered during the match but ended up taking each other out on the outside.
- Rosemary put Kimberlee down with a Red Wedding (F5), 1...2...... Trish breaks the count by kicking Rosemary in the head and then throwing her out of the ring!
- Trish quickly hit a Stratusfaction on Kimberlee for the win!!!
- 'NEW' CHAMPION as Trish Stratus wins the title in her home town!

- Jeff missed an early Swanton Bomb, which set the tone for the rest of the match.
- A Double Dropkick almost put Matt away if not for a last second save by Jeff.
- Frustrated, the Hardys began to push the envelope as far as the rules are concerned.
- The ref allowed a lot but couldn't allow it when Jeff used a chair on Ricky on the outside.

- Heidi Lovelace took Bobby out with a Heidi-Can-Ranna on the outside but the distraction was all Perfect needed to hit a Perfect Hennig-Plex for the win!!!



- Feeling betrayed, the fans let Mr. Perfect have it as he and Heenan victoriously made their way to the back!!

- Wrestling with an injury Hawk was clearly not close to 100%!
- Hennig and Race kept Hawk isolated and worked on the injured neck.
- Race used two straight sick Piledrivers to put Hawk down for the count, as The Axe kept Animal at bay.

Despite having my picks crushed, it looked like quite the event in T.O. with Superfly emerging as this year's King of the North and Trish Stratus claiming the GWF Women's title in crowd pleasing fashion...

Still not sure that Race and Hennig could have held onto those tag belts against the Road Warriors if Hawk wasn't nursing an injury...

Can't say it was a big surprise to see Mr Perfect aligning himself with someone that could provide him with an unfair advantage... It looked like he was starting to get buried in the midcard a bit... A heated rivalry against the Macho Man could be his ticket back into the main event... And I've gotta feeling Mr Heenan will make it happen...

This was great and seeing Decay win the Cup, but what a wild ending that made this tournament end with such a cool brawl...
