I only ended up seeing the Liger match and half of the Ishii/Naito match before crashing. Liger match was good but a bit short. Will watch Ishii/Naito and Elgin/Omega later.

Watched Omega vs Elgin and Okada vs Cody, loved both. Probably the best Cody Rhodes match I've ever seen (that's a compliment to Okada). I've enjoyed Cody's little Indy run in ROH and now his appearance in NJPW - but I'm also in the camp that thinks Cody is awfully overrated, over matched and out of place trying to cosplay as some great worker. He looked so much slower than Okada during a lot of spots. Can't see him being able to keep pace with Omega at all once they fight. I agree about Cody and thought this was his best post WWE match. I went into this show with low expectations but actually thought it was a pretty good show. I loved Omega-Elgin. I also liked Ishii-Naito. The tag title, Zsj-Robinson, and IWGP title matches all ended up better than I thought they would be going in. Okada continues to have a good year.

Just finished Ishii/Naito and Omega/Elgin. Ishii/Naito was well below their usual matches but wasn't bad by any means. Elgin/Omega was good but they had a match last year that was far better. Did anyone else who watched this show think the show felt way too much like ROH? I know they used ROH's stage but almost everything about the production of the show felt like an ROH PPV.
