To add to the spin off convo, I think it depends on the type of fed you're running.
My semi-current fed (GWF 2131) I still use notebooks and the cards, so I write only what I have to so I remember the goings on.
My classic fed (2089) resembles a New Japan style where it's more wrestling based with story lines coming from matches and group feuds. Some shows won't even have segments, especially during the Infinite Warfare Tournament (My G1 Climax)
The aCe is a story-driven federation already so I tried to stay as true to that as possible which makes for long write ups.
I agree with Pariah that if you enjoy it and are having fun doing it, that's what matters!

man charter has been out most of the day and I miss a bunch of posts. card looked great as do some of the discussions.

Some more great points raised, Vanimal... When putting together a fed like your own aCe: A Dimension Divided, I think non-wrestling segments are essential... Of all the offerings currently available, yours reads the most like an actual comic... And it works - Truly entertaining... And yes, barflymike4ever, it looks like She Devil is becoming a popular mark for individuals to try making a name for themselves at the Crossroads... She has given some memorable performances so far - Including a few great encounters against the man that now holds the KrX Advent title, Dark Justice... KrX 12: #vindication - Ruffled Feathers - Raven seeks an opponent after his last scheduled encounter was spoiled by Bishop Hell's prematch assault on Thantos. Deciding that some manner of compensation is in order, Mesmer tells Raven he will face Bishop Hell in the main event with the winner being declared number one contender for the KrX Advent Championship. She Devil defeated Pulsar via disqualification- She Devil uses her lightning quickness to keep Pulsar on the defensive. The Amazing Mann runs in and blatantly interferes, costing her a near certain pinfall. (Fatigue: Pulsar 1) - Wanting revenge against She Devil for his elimination in the Second Chance tournament, Mann traps her in a punishing submission. Pulsar tries to break the hold, but falls victim to a sneak attack by Minotaur! With their victims lying on the mat, Mann gives the bull headed AniMan a look of approval. - Calling Out the Blackheart - Since this show is all about retaliation, Shayne comes to the ring to collect his own eye for an eye. He issues a challenge to the man that potentially cost him the KrX Advent Championship at OUT OF TIME. Instead of Avarice making an appearance, Soldier of Fortune and Vigilante step onto the runway. They taunt Shayne, telling him the best man won and Dark Justice will not be dropping the title anytime soon. Mesmer applauds the loyalty of the Mercenaries. "In fact, I am giving you the chance to direct fate. Shayne is going to face each of you in singles competition and if he wins both contests, he will be awarded a shot at the KrX Advent title. Figure out which one of you is going first because there's no reason to wait." Vigilante defeated Shayne- Vigilante turns the tide with a cheap shot outside the ring. He follows up with POLICE BRUTALITY, a blinding fist and forearm combination. Soldier of Fortune provides an assist, holding onto Shayne's legs and making it impossible for him to kick out. (Fatigue: Vigilante 1 - Shayne 2) Genocide defeated King Lear- After absorbing a few solid blows, Buck Steele transforms into Genocide and takes complete control of the bout. He finishes King Lear with CORPUS GENOCIDE, a diving senton from the top rope. (Fatigue: Steele 2) - Realizing that his alter ego was eliminated from OUT OF TIME before he had a chance to make an appearance, Genocide throws a destructive tantrum. Even Rack and Ruin are reluctant to get in his way. It takes several paralysis darts to finally bring him down. - Spitting Acid - The Amazing Mann is quite pleased with his accomplishment, telling Minotaur it will be a long time before She Devil bothers either of them. Pulsar comes at them and Mann narrowly avoids getting hit by ACID RAIN. Backing out of harm's way, Mann challenges Pulsar to face Minotaur in the ring. Minotaur shoots Mann a curious glance, but is not given time to answer. She Devil struts into the middle of the confrontation. "There is no way I'm letting the boys have all the fun." Raven defeated Bishop Hell - Raven comes in hot and claims a virtually unopposed victory after hitting Bishop Hell with BROADSWORD, a double flying fist. (Fatigue: Bishop 1) - Dark Justice arrives, flaunting the KrX Advent title belt around his waist. The distraction allows the Mercenaries to approach unnoticed. Before they can attack, Shayne charges to the ring! With their plans ruined, the trio regroups on the runway to make a safe exit. |

Some interesting action going on there. The Minotaur/Mann alliance is very interesting to say the least.

Another great show! Really enjoy the bit with Genocide freaking out about OUT OF TIME. Interesting developments with the main event scene, Dark Justice will have to work hard to keep the Advent title. KrX is on fire!

Raven might be biting off more than he can chew She Devil was rocking until Mann and Minotaur stuck their noses in. Shayne might be out of his depth here. the Mercenaries are not push overs. and Vigilante cuts Shayne down (with a little assist to SOF) Genocide dethrowned the King, and yeah Rack and Ruin didn't bring enough men...  Mann's ego is getting too big. She Devil is giving that whole Sexy Star feel while Mann is feeling like Mundo. oops Raven decimats Bishop Hell and gets an unusual ally in Shayne in the words...Wowzers |

First title defense for Dark Justice is right around the corner and it looks like Raven will be his first challenger, despite a lackluster performance at OUT OF TIME... TTX - Thought it might be neat to have Mann join up with Minotaur... A change of pace from when they were rivals in the canon universe... Vanimal - Genocide has not turned up that often... So, when he does make a rare appearance, I need him to make lots of noise... barflymike4ever - It's cool how you've drawn those comparisons - She Devil to Sexy Star and Amazing Mann to Johnny Mundo... Cuz I had very similar thoughts... Maybe Mann needs a Galaxy Wide Underground to back him up... Always appreciate the continued interest and kind words, my friends... Many thanks! |

Do I smell the makings of a tag team match with Amazing Mann and Minotaur facing Pulsar and She Devil? She Devil was on her way to a squash victory over Pulsar, so I decided to spice things up with a roll on the interference chart... Mann was still angry over not qualifying for OUT OF TIME... It made sense to have him assault She Devil even though it handed her a technical victory... Having no patience for those tactics, Pulsar had to get involved... And like She Devil said - Can't let the boys have all the fun... Always appreciate the feedback, my friend... Many thanks! |
