KrX 50: #strivetosurvive
Exile Match: Manslaughter vs. Wraith
Manslaughter defeats Wraith via disqualification when the ref catches Wraith with a foreign object. During the intense struggle, both men fall through the ropes and hit the floor hard. The ref checks on Manslaughter first and while his back is turned, Killer Queen sneaks to ringside. He slips a jagged piece of metal into Wraith's hand and crawls beneath the ring before anyone realizes what has happened. A disappointing conclusion which leads to Wraith being exiled under very questionable circumstances. (Tokens: Manslaughter 2 - Wraith 3)
Unable to believe that his new friend is being forced to leave, Massif confronts Killer Queen backstage. Queen offers Massif a silent wink before Manslaughter attacks with a crowbar. With Massif lying on the floor, Queen reveals his motivation for assisting Manslaughter. "He sure makes a handsome bodyguard."
Actagon vs. Thrash
Thrash defeats Actagon via pinfall (snake eyes) with a brainbuster bludgeon. After coming in hot and nearly putting Thrash away with his GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP, Actagon misses a flying dropkick and gets caught up in the ropes. Thrash wastes no time in hammering Actagon to the mat for the win. (Tokens: Thrash 3)
Aethran Overmaster strides to the ring and commands Thrash to continue her assault. She obliges by tossing Actagon out of the ring and crushing him with FEMME FATAL, a slam into a gutbuster drop, on the concrete floor. Obediently, she follows Overmaster to the back while medical staff attend to the injured Greek God.
- Aethran Revelation -
In a rare display, Disaster and Spike stand in the same room without trading blows. Sharing ideas, they discuss the arrival of Overmaster. Neither is willing to recognize this Aethran as their leader. Disaster says they have to act immediately because every moment they hesitate, Overmaster will further push his own agenda as witnessed by his recruitment of Thrash. With a sharp grin, Spike agrees and issues an immediate challenge. "If Overmaster wants to prove himself worthy of any crown, he needs to go through me."Trios Match: Anivar, Pulsar and Raven vs. Bruiser Brody, Harley Race and Jay Lethal
Anivar, Pulsar and Raven defeat Bruiser Brody, Harley Race, and Jay Lethal via pinfall when Anivar pins Jay Lethal with KNUCKLE TATTOO, a running double fist to the face. The ref allows both teams to freely bend the rules in this emotional slugfest. Brody and Raven are left bloody and Race survives a close call with Pulsar's ACID RAIN. (Tokens: Anivar 1, Raven 4 - Brody 4, Race 1, Lethal 3)
Mesmer appears to validate the challenge made by Raven. However, he is not willing to see nearly all that remains of the 32 exiled from the Crossroads and decides that only Jay Lethal will suffer the consequences of this particular loss.
KrX Horizon Title Match: Killer Queen* w/ Manslaughter vs. Sinful
Killer Queen defeats Sinful via pinfall with Nightmare Leap, a diving corkscrew elbow drop. Capitalizing on a single lapse in judgement, Queen claims an impressive victory. Killer Queen retains the KrX Horizon Championship - a successful version two title defense. (Tokens: Sinful 2)
Battering Ram vs. Minotaur
No contest. Minotaur attacks Battering Ram in the backstage area and both AniMen plunge through a second story window. They land in a waste recycling bin and continue fighting until security separates them.
- Double Cross -
Magnus the Magnanimous meets with the Axis team, including Thantos, to talk about strategy for the upcoming main event. He reveals that he had purchased the means to guarantee a victory. Without warning, Avarice storms into the room and smashes Thantos in the back of the head. Luckily for Thantos, he manages to escape before the rest of the Axis joins the assault. Magnus laughs and passes a briefcase of money to the newest member of his group. "The problem with someone who thinks he's the Gamemaster is that you can't trust when he's playing. At least greed is reliable."Bullwhip Challenge: Amazonia vs. She Devil
Amazonia defeats She Devil by retrieving the bullwhip suspended above the ring. After a spear from the top turnbuckle that knocks She Devil off a ladder and through a table, Amazonia has an easy climb to the prize. She Devil pulls off some nice acrobatic combinations, but cannot find a halt Amazonia's momentum. Without delivering a single lash to her beaten opponent, Amazonia drops the whip in disgust. Before leaving the ring, she extends her hand and helps She Devil to her feet. (Tokens: Amazonia 3 - She Devil 6)
Kronos Death Match: Blade and Quasar vs. Dark Justice and Tanck
Dark Justice and Tanck defeat Blade and Quasar via pinfall when Dark Justice pins Quasar with a Tar and Feather crescent kick. All four men see plenty of action in this fast moving exchange. Blade attempts a springboard off the top rope to make the save, but Tanck stops him with a sweeping blow from Dark Justice's metal baton. (Tokens: Tanck 2 - Blade 2, Quasar 3)
KrX Binary Title Match: Mercenaries* (Soldier of Fortune & Vigilante) vs. Twin Blood (Dreggs & Sleeze)
Mercenaries defeat Twin Blood via disqualification when Sleeze ignores multiple warnings from the ref and pushes his way into the ring to break up a relentless double team on Dreggs. The fight takes a serious shift when Soldier, bleeding from the mouth, makes the hot tag to his partner. Dreggs gets trapped in the wrong corner and his brother chooses to make the save regardless of the cost. Mercenaries retain the KrX Binary Championship - a successful version three title defense. (Tokens: Soldier 5 - Dreggs 3, Sleeze 1)
Upon reaching the locker rooms, the Mercenaries encounter two angry competitors. Rack and Ruin have yet to receive a single title shot even though Magnus has promised to lead them to such an opportunity. Soldier and Vigilante cautiously prepare to evade the monstrous duo if the need should arrive. Commissioner Euritar steps in to announce that a tag team tournament will take place on the next show to decide the number one contenders for the belts. Desolation Factor is one of eight teams entered into the competition.
Submission Only: AJ Styles vs. The Amazing Mann
The Amazing Mann defeats AJ Styles via submission with Contortion, an octopus hold. An utterly fierce display of determination as neither man seems willing to surrender. Countering a whip to the ropes with a Pele kick, Styles gets his opponent down and locks on a Calf Killer. Mann proves he is the ultimate escape artist by twisting his way out of the hold and wrapping Styles up in a signature hold of his own. After exhausting all options, Styles taps out and graciously makes his exit from the Crossroads. (Tokens: Mann 10 - Styles 6)
- March of the Overmaster -
Aethran Overmaster strides to the ring and wastes no time before telling the audience why he's there. "If Spike wants a fight, he can have one right now! My only stipulation is that we remove any possibility of escape. Lower the cage!"Cage Match: Aethran Overmaster vs. Spike
Spike defeats Aethran Overmaster via pinfall with MEGADESTROYER, a powerslam from the top turnbuckle. Overmaster takes some time to adjust to Spike's versatile offense. Once he does, it does not take long for him to bust Spike open with countless rams into the cage. Spike pulls off a slick reversal and clips the back of Overmaster's leg, robbing him off mobility. Using very precise moves, Spike gains an important victory. (Tokens: Spike 4 - Overmaster 3)
Disaster steps from the back and raises a fist in salute to Spike, who stands on top of the cage in triumph. Suddenly, Rush and Turmoil attack Disaster from behind. When Spike charges in to help, he falls to a triple team by Thunder, Overkill and Mayhem. Security forms a perimeter to keep the beatdown contained until Overmaster gives the order to stop. "Don't kill them. They need to be alive in order to get down on their knees."
- Cosmic Big Bang -
With news of Avarice's treachery spreading throughout the venue, Tauran wonders if a suitable replacement can be found. Shayne is not worried and says they are more than capable of dealing with the Axis without any additional help. He certainly will not consider allowing Thantos to join their side. Endgame arrives and sheds new light on the conversation. "I have found someone that is eager to join our New Alliance and can definitely be trusted. His name is Star Warrior."Survivor Showdown: Axis of Power (Avarice, Chaos, Mandrill & Vengeance) w/ Magnus the Magnanimous vs. New Alliance (Endgame, Shayne, Tauran & Star Warrior)
Axis of Power defeats New Alliance in a clean sweep. Chaos looks truly indestructible as he plows through the opposition. An excellent offensive run by Endgame gets stopped cold when Mandrill and Vengeance execute an illegal double team. Tauran does the most damage for his team, nearly getting disqualified when he busts Avarice open with a flapjack onto the metal stairs.
Moments before the final elimination, Thantos charges from the back with Magnus in his sights. Mandrill jumps into the line of fire and Thantos blasts him with a set of brass knuckles! Rack and Ruin take up defensive positions around their manager. Before the situation escalates further, Star Warrior arrives and convinces Thantos to leave ringside. Although not officially eliminated, Mandrill requires medical attention. (Tokens: Avarice 5, Mandrill 1, Vengeance 3 - Endgame 4, Shayne 4/4 , Warrior 3, Tauran 2)
