Group B
Evolved upset The GameMasters when Tarval pinned Cosmos after the Bionic Smash. Star Warrior and Cosmos looked good early but Tarval just went crazy on Cosmos and scored the upset pin.
Third Force held off Castilex when Chaos forced Sentinel to submit to the Bow of Defeat. Moog took Bow of Defeat after Bow of Defeat and would not go down but Sentinel who nearly finished off Matador could not do the same as Third Force edged for the win.
Royal Uprising stunned The Elite when Exo-King put away Thantos with the Death Vise. Thantos and Olympia looked good on paper but they never got it going and Exo-King and Death Knight shocked their way to a victory with their tag finisher followed by a Death Vise. Olympia threw in the towel and Thantos was furious.
General Destruction bested AniMen Armageddon when Infinity-plex put down Tempest with the Overdrive Crash. Monolith was his beastly self and Tempest looked good but Infinity-plex caught him for a pin and Monolith simply watched instead of attempting any form of save before simply leaving the ring and muttering let the Council explain that loss.

Group C
The Conquerors bested TitanMedia when Mandrill put away Overtime with mounted punches. Faller never even got into the ring as Mandrill and Epoch worked Overtime over for a bit before Mandrill punched Overtime down and scored a quick pin. Overtime seemed to be injured and was helped out of the ring by Faller and Lord Nexus.
Physical Perfection handled Better Than Human when Pegasus pinned Psi after a jumping piledriver. Tharkas got in a few good shot but Psi quickly became overwhelmed by Spec and Pegasus before falling to a big piledriver.
Mean Streets knocked off Nowhere to Run following a Double Dispatch on Kill Prey. Just when it looked like Nowhere to Run was getting it going, a quick lariat by Patch followed by the Evil Eye and then a tag to Skiver who helped do their tag finisher before finishing things off.
Primal Onslaught knocked off Defense Fighters when Shayne put down Tank with Showdown. Shayne and The Basilisk proved to be surprisingly effective battering down Climber before finally finishing off Tank.

Group D
The Gladiators squashed The Greek Gods when Fist pinned Proteus after a roundhouse kick. Siege and Fist easily dominated Actagon and Proteus as Fist used a fast kick and scored the pin.
Crusaders of WAR knocked off Desolation Factor following the Broadsword on Ruin. Raven and HelSin took some big blows before making a comeback and Raven finished things off.
Galactic Champions bested The Survivors with a Shining Wizard on Bobby Lee. Nikolai and Bobby Lee battled hard and got in a few solid shots but Endgame and Max Shield were too tough in the end.
Martial Law bested The Opportunists following Star Destroyer on Hector. Sly and Mensar finished Hector off in short order.

Divided We Fall is one of the most highly decorated teams in my GWF, so I'd like to see them do well in the tournament... But, I cannot imagine favoring any team over the pairing of HelSin & Raven... TRUTH!

If I was going a little more wild with my teams, they almost certainly would have made it but to not go crazy I limited it to current GWF, BOC and Kronos.

If I was going a little more wild with my teams, they almost certainly would have made it but to not go crazy I limited it to current GWF, BOC and Kronos. Oh, snap! I missed that caveat from yesterday's post... I was looking at the July 27th post when I noticed DWF... Understandable though... A line has to be drawn somewhere or these events could last forever... Without a doubt, I'll be cheering for the Crusaders all the way!

yeah I get ideas but don't always get around to running them. Luckily I got through the first round of this one so I should be able to finish it up.

Group A Round 2
True Gladiators bested Chameleon Creatures via countout after Thunder dropped CCFS on the floor with the Gladiator Piledriver. The Creatures looked good early and had Spike in trouble but he made a comeback and dropped FS with the Megadestroyer. Thunder came in and kept battering down FS before trying to dive on him on the floor. FS moved but Thunder caught himself and slipped to the floor where he nailed FS with an uppercut before dropping him with the Piledriver and rolling into the ring to take the victory.
Titan Samurai surprised Completion when Azuma dropped Demon Godsend with the tachi-ai. Godsend took a few good shots from Kenji but finally managed to tag out. Azuma eventually got into the ring and hit a couple shots before Kenji dropped Demon Godsend with the Titan Drop. Azuma then executed the tachi-ai and covered a stunned DG for the pin. Godsend was unable to act in time.

Group B 2nd Round
In very short order, Third Force bested Evolved by disqualification when Orrus was disqualified during a brawl on the floor for shoving the referee for trying to break it up. Chaos whipped Orrus into the ropes and dropped him with the Hyperdrive and then tossed him to the floor where an angry Orrus tried to rebound but lost his temper and the match in about 30 seconds.
The referees continued to dominate the matches as General Destruction was fairly quickly disqualified against Royal Uprising when the referee disqualified Infinity-plex for smashing Death Knight repeatedly into the ringpost. Exo-King and Death Knight surprised Infinity-plex by dominating him and he just tried to fuse Death Knight with the ring post and the referee called for the bell.
(two matches, two dq rolls each, two disqualifications. Finals luckily are Titan Death)

Group C 2nd Round
Physical Perfection rolled past The Conquerors when Pegasus used Wings of Pegasus to finish off Epoch. Mandrill did fairly well but Spec and Pegasus simply overwhelmed Epoch (who never actually rolled a down. Every time it was a PIN) Eventually Spec wore him down with the Excellence Elbow Lock and then Pinnacle of Success. Mandrill made a save but Pegasus came in with Wings and Spec hit his spin kick to stop a Mandrill save giving Physical Perfection the victory.
Primal Onslaught demolished Mean Streets when Shayne pinned Patch after Eye 4 Eye. This was really The Basilisk show as it did most of the major damage but Shayne did come in long enough to finish things off officially. Skiver's only appearance in the ring was trying to make the save only to get choke slammed by The Basilisk in response.
