So it has been quite a while. Got the most recent set and was playing on the gametable and noticed Bishop Hell has an asterix noting him losing his Black Death abilities. What is that exactly and how does it work?

So it has been quite a while. Got the most recent set and was playing on the gametable and noticed Bishop Hell has an asterix noting him losing his Black Death abilities. What is that exactly and how does it work? During the Black Death era (2127 - 2129), some wrestlers could lose certain abilities under specific circumstances... In Bishop's case, his finisher would be rendered impotent... It only occurred if Harbinger (in 2127) or one of the Three (Sur, Bex or Ghena in 2128 & 2129) lost a match via pin or submission... And it would result in ruling on that character's card to determine how long Black Death abilities would be gone... That being said, it is my understanding that this mechanic stopped being used in 2130 with most BD abilities being considered permanently in play... With the exception of Balaal's conversion and Coven Black's incapacitation abilities... Hope this helps!
