Think we could see two for two in Legends advancing, think Bock will knock off Sam.

Hey Troy.
Could be, although Sams 2079 card is him more in his prime.
Hopefully an interesting matchup.
I dig both of these guys.
Will roll out the match and post as soon as I can.
Thanks!

Match 18 - Nick Bockwinkel vs Commander Sam
Before the Bell:
Rak'ashan - I know who kidnapped your people...they have been a thorn in my ass for centuries...what I am proposing is that my kind and your kind work together...
Massacre - I'm listening...
Rak'ashan - To bring them down...recover your brothers and end this centuries old war between my kind the Lycans and Vampires.
Massacre - You can find their planet?
Rak'ashan - Yes, I am one of only a few.
Massacre - Our war council will meet on this...I will have your answer tomorrow.
Brute - If we do this - we will be watching you.
Rak'ashan - As will I...
The Match:
Nick Bockwinkel knew he couldn't go toe to toe with Commander Sam. Sam spent the first half of the match ragdolling Bockwinkel all over the ring via Commander Slams, Slingshot Suplexes and Overhead Crashes. The only way Bockwinkel had a shot was to slow down the pace and get technical with his moves. Here he was successful, through a slow pace and painful holds, he took just about all of the wind out of Commander Sams sails. An Abdominal Stretch almost became what did Sam in, however he was still strong enough to muscle his way out of it and break the hold. Bockwinkels Figure Four Leglock however proved to be inescapable forcing an angry Commander to tap out.
Bockwinkel advances on.
After The Bell:
Aethran Overmaster - You have to win your match, Disaster failed me. You must show the rest of this Tournament who we really are, and regain our Aethran honor! Whoever you will be facing in the next match, I want you to wipe the floor with him.
Turmoil - Yes Minister Of War!
Next Match - Turmoil vs Calm (An Aethran that had defected from the planet Aethra to the NAWC some time ago).

Match 19 - Turmoil vs Calm
Before the Match:
Carmilla - Things are going completely to plan...there is an incredible buzz in the wrestling world for the start up of this fed, the result of this Tournament...and to boot, the majority of the universe believe that the fact that many wrestlers have been captured...is all part of the hype and p.r. plan going into launching my new fed!
Count Necros - Yes, that is all true except that you must remember a few things, my favorite sire...around Stephen Dearcher...this is our fed and also...there will still be some out there searching...no matter how powerful the charms and hypnosis...you are going to need contingency plans...especially with Aethra.
Coven Black - I just read about the Women's division! Fantastic work Carmilla!
The Match:
The kamikaze psychopath Turmoil was 4 inches taller and 70 pounds heavier than his high flying, martial artist and submission specialist Calm. Who along with his girlfriend Serenity escaped from Aethra, refusing to be slaves any more. Whether Turmoil was overconfident, psyched out by The Overmaster or guilty of underestimating this renegade Aethran, or perhaps all three, Turmoil joined the list of The Overmaster, Disaster and Paralyze in first round tournament losers. By the third successive executions of one of Calms finishers - The Calm - a Crossface Chickenwing, a partially but temporarily crippled Turmoil was forced to submit.
The Calm advances on.
After The Bell:
When The Aethran Overmaster learned of the result of this match, his incredible rage broke his hypnosis. It took 12 security guards to corner him as Salem re-hypnotized him. The Overmaster now joined the list of wrestlers that now have to be hypnotized twice a day.
Next Match:
Tombstone vs Dude Brohan

The legends are faring well... Both Thesz and Bockwinkel put away some impressive opposition...
Calm has a very cool look - Really enjoying the artwork preview that you provide the audience... Offers some insight into characters that we may not be familiar with...
Very entertaining!

Offers some insight into characters that we may not be familiar with... Very entertaining! Thanks very much Pariah! That's true, the Legends are (knock wood) holding their own in the ring. Gotch, Race and Hackenschmidt too. There are a few more Legends still to make their appearances in this first round. Calms artwork is very cool I agree. Actually, when I first heard about wrestlers from the NAWC (Krazy Kards) two things grabbed me right away. The artwork (Sammael & Azrael in particular) and the fact that many of the cards have extreme moves on them. In the NAWC, there are no disqualifications, although they are rated with them for standard rules. A good portion of them have a DQ of 7. At some point, I am going to post the pictures of the 12 members of The Kindred. More than half of them are from the NAWC. The artwork is pretty killer. As always amigo - thank you for your comments and enthusiasm!
