Grand Wrestling FederationEpisode #4: Epic EventPhiladelphia, PAJanuary 26th, 2014 VS Jessica James defeats Delilah Doom by Pinfall at 2:10 (JJ Kick). After shaking hands, Jessica caught Doom with a Yakuza Kick. This stunned Doom, and she was put away with a follow up JJ Kick to give James the win. w/ VS Marion Fontaine defeats Rex Havoc (2) by DQ at 3:00. Fontaine came out on fire, trying to get his first win in the GWF. His momentum allowed him to score several near falls on Havoc. After being sent outside the ring, Havoc ran Fontaine into the steel ring post, and the referee DQ'd Havoc for his actions. The Dark Menace and Havoc seemed satisfied with the outcome, as they went to the back smiling widely. The Interplanetray Champion, Sami Callihan is backstage getting ready to defend his title against Bruiser Brody. Callihan looks at the camera, and cuts a promo saying that Brody will need to bring his best, if he is going to have any chance against Callihan. If he does not, then the result will be like last time. VS Dream Team (0,1) defeats the Young Bucks (0,2) by Submission at 7:36 (Sleeper). A great Tag Team match saw both teams use effective Tag Team tactics. As the tempo sped up, several near falls kept the action tense. It ultimately ended, as Nick Jackson missed a Moonsault and Beefcake capitalized and locked on the Sleeper. Valentine took out Matt, as Nick faded and the Dream Team picked up the win! VS Mia Yim defeats Cherry Bomb by DQ at 3:15. Cherry Bomb was in full control of this match, until "The Banshee" Angelus Layne got involved. Layne threw Yim into the steel ring post and followed it up with a savage chair shot. The referee DQ'd Cherry Bomb as a result, but she did not care as she ran Layne off and checked on Yim. Mia Yim was taken to the back by the medical personnel.
(C) VS Bruiser Brody (5) defeats Sami Callihan (3) by Pinfall at 9:52 (Jumping Knee Drop) to become the New GWF Interplanetary Champion! Bruiser Brody brought his best and Callihan was the one to come up short. The referee allowed a lot of leniency as both men brutalized each other. Brody was able to stop Callihan from superplexing him, by hitting him with his chain. Callihan hit hard, and Brody delivered his Jumping Knee Drop to pick up the win and the title! (C) VS Madison Rayne defeats Sara Del Rey (3) by DQ at 7:21. "The Banshee" made her mark again in yet another match. As the technical bout was taking place, Layne emerged from under the ring and hit Rayne with a kendo stick to the back of her head. The referee DQ'd Del Rey, as Layne once again made her presence known. Madison Rayne retains the GWF Women's Championship. w/ VS Incoherence (1,0) defeats Criminal Justice (2,1) by DQ at 10:08. The high flying nature of Incoherence was too much for Criminal Justice to handle. The Dark Menace could not swing the match in his team's favor. Lastly, Bennett Cole resorted to using a chair to try and even the odds. The referee did not let that fly and DQ'd Criminal Justice. Criminal Justice then proceeded to attack Incoherence, after the match. As the attack was going on, Bobby Heenan and the Valiants ran out to make the save. It is clear, there is unfinished business between The Dark Menace forces and the Heenan Family. Hallowicked was taken to the back on a stretcher. VS This match ended in a double CountOut at 6:46. The fans wondered if "The Banshee" would make another appearance, but it did not happen. Both women fought hard to control this match, with neither gaining any sort of edge over the other. The match ended suddenly when Hayden hit a cross body from the top rope onto Melissa. Both women hit the apron hard and fell to the floor. The referee made the count as both women were not able to beat the count. Afterwards, medical staff checked on the women, and they were able to walk out on their own power.
The Heenan family are in their locker room commenting on the disgrace that is the Dark Menace Forces. They proceed to look at the camera and challenge Criminal Justice to a match, to prove the Heenan Family is more dominant than the Dark Menace Forces. They end the promo with an insult, insinuating that the Dark Menace Forces are too scared.
VS Brodie Lee defeats Harlem Bravado (3) by Pinfall at 11:17 (Big Boot). Harlem lasted as long as he could, but the end was inevitable. Brodie almost ended it quickly with a Big Boot, but Harlem battled back. As the match continued, it was apparent that Brodie was looking for his opening, and once he say it, he ended the match with a thunderous Big Boot. (C) VS Ted Dibiase (6) & Steve Williams (4) defeats the American Wolves (1,0) by DQ at 23:03. A true battle for the GWF Tag Team Championship was witnessed by the fans. The Wolves controlled most of the match with their unique offense. Dibiase and Williams were not to be outdone, as they came to fight, and fight they did. As both teams looked to gain the decisive fall, Edwards posted Dibiase outside the ring. The referee immediately called for the bell DQing the American Wolves. Dibiase and Williams snapped and attacked Edwards. Williams crushed Richards, as Dibiase assualted Edwards with a chair. Security was needed to separate the teams. Edwards needed help to the back. American Wolves retain the GWF Tag Team Championship. VS Dick Hutton defeats Lance Hoyt (2) by Pinfall at 14:09 (Atomic Drop). Another great technical match of the night. Hutton showed a classic technical style, while Hoyt showed a classic power style. To Hoyt's credit, he absorbed a lot of punishment. This caused Hutton to become frustrated, but Hoyt could not capitalize on it. As both men became exhausted, Hutton was able to catch Hoyt with an Atomic Drop for the win! This is the second time Hutton has won with an atomic drop, making him an unexpected threat. (C) VS Masked Superstar (1) defeats Chuck Taylor (6) by Pinfall at 19:05 (Spinning Neckbreaker) to become the New GWF Universal Championship! Chuck Taylor had a huge challenge in front of him in Masked Superstar. Masked Superstar used his technical abilities to wear down the more agile Taylor. Taylor made a fatal mistake by trying to go to the top rope. Masked Superstar was ready, and countered Taylor with a Spinning Neckbreaker. Taylor crashed down hard, and Masked Superstar made the cover for the hard fought win!

Laying it on the Line, with Commissioner Labar
Epic Event turned out to be a great show, and the fans certainly enjoyed themselves. Unfortunately, it seems as if the talent did not take me serious on my previous thoughts. There were some unfortunate events that took place. Mia Yim was the victim of a savage attack by Angelus Layne. As a result Mia Yim will be out 5 episodes. I was going to suspend Layne, but many in the women's division want to get payback on Layne, so there will be no suspension for Layne. Criminal Justice injured Hallowicked after their match, and Hallowicked will be out 5 episodes. The Heenan Family has asked to let them take care of them. In the subject of fairness, I have allowed it. Eddie Edwards was slightly injured in the brawl with Dibiase and Williams. Edwards will not be fully healed until the end of February. He and Richards have been informed that the Tag Team Championship will be defended on February 12th. They can either forfeit the title, or Edwards will have to wrestle injured. They have yet to make their decision.
The next Pay Per View will take place on February 23rd. It will be called Brawl in the Hall. As always, all titles will be defended, and I invite all GWF fans to experience it.

Two big title changes... Was hoping that Callihan and/or Chuck-T would retain, but it was a tall order and both found themselves on the losing end, despite giving it their best efforts... Congrats to the new champions - Bruiser Brody and Masked Superstar!
Really hoping the Wolves find a way to hang onto those tag belts... Can Richards carry the load while Edwards is nursing that injury? Or will they be forced to surrender the championship and make a comeback at a later date?
Exciting stuff!

Both Callihan and Taylor had a tall order in defending their titles. The Callihan/Brody match was brutal and hard hitting as expected. Brody landed his finisher out of nowhere to win that one. The Taylor/Superstar match was mostly Superstar wearing down Taylor. Masked Superstar made the best of his opportunity, which was bad for Taylor that night. The Wolves have a big decision to make, as it is not an easy decision and either way has difficulties involved. Thanks for tuning in buddy!!

Grand Wrestling FederationEpisode #5Philadelphia, PAFebruary 3rd, 2014
VS W/ Daizee Haze (1) defeats Laura Phoenix (3) by Pinfall at 6:11 (Cross Body Block). Phoenix slapped Haze right before the bell and it lit a fire in Haze. In short order Haze had Phoenix reeling, which caused the Dark Menace to become involved. He smashed his cane into Haze and also choked her with it trying to give his client the edge. This backfired. Haze was more determined and went on an offensive tear. After a Daizee cutter, Haze came off the top rope and crushed Phoenix for the win. VS W/ S.C.U.M. (1,1) defeats The Valiants (1,0) by DQ at 16:34. A great Tag Team match was brought to an abrupt end. Both teams used great tag team wrestling to control the pace of the match. During one of the exchanges, the referee takes a brutal bump. Both teams continue to fight as the referee has to be carried out. This brings out Criminal Justice who attack The Valiants. S.C.U.M., steps back and lets them fight. The finish came when Bennett Cole tried to hit Jimmy with a chair. Jimmy ducked and Cole ended up hitting Jacobs. The new referee saw the shot and DQ'd The Valiants as a result. The Valiants were livid they lost the match, as Bobby Heenan works to calm his team down. VS Mike Quackenbush (2) defeats Green Ant (6) by Pinfall at 7:24 (Quackendriver II). The fa favorite, Green Ant showed great heart in this match. Quackenbush almost ended the match early with a Chikara Special/Quackendriver II combination, but Green Ant would not quit. He threw everything at Quackenbush, but came up short as the Veteran Quackenbush put Ant away with one of his signature finishers. Both men shook hands after the match, to the delight of the crowd. VS "The Banshee" Angelus Layne defeats Kimber Lee (1) by Pinfall at 2:20 (Memory Layne). The terror of the women's division attacked right at the bell. Lee was caught off guard, as Layne punished her in short order. Layne was ruthless and finished off Lee with a Memory Layne for the win. Afterwards, Lee did not move for several minutes. The medical team came out and had to carry Lee out on a stretcher. VS Ultramantis Black defeats Adam Pearce (4) by Pinfall at 6:58 (Praying Mantis Bomb). Pearce could not figure out the unusual Ultramantis Black. He tried everything, but could not get the match going his way. Black kept the pressure on, and this allowed Pearce to make a mistake which saw Ultramantis Black put away Pearce with the Praying Mantis Bomb.Commissioner Laban informs the audience The he has got his answer from the American Wolves. Eddie Edwards will indeed wrestle injured with Davey Richards when they defend the GWF Tag Team Championship against the team of Ted Dibiase and Steve Williams next week. Edwards signed a release so that the GWF will not be responsible if he gets injured further. On another point of business, Kimber Lee has suffered a mild concussion, and will miss the next three episodes as she recovers. She sustained the injury in a match, and because of the Angelus Layne will not be suspended. Because of the attack by Criminal Justice earlier in the night, they will face off against The Valiants in a falls count anywhere match in three weeks at Brawl in the Hall. VS The Fabulous Kangaroos (4,5) defeats the Foreign Legion (1,0) by DQ at 19:09. This was a brutal war as the Kangaroos found out first hand how dangerous the Iron Sheik is when he loads his boot. They both got worked over in a head to watch way. The Legion dominated the Kangaroos, as they tried everything to survive. Ultimately, they survived as the Iron Sheik hit the referee with a short arm clothesline as the referee tried to get the Iron Sheik to back off of Roy.
(c) VS Bruiser Brody (5) defeats Dick Hutton (4) by Pinfall at 23:33 (Jumping Knee Drop). This was the match of the night! It almost wasn't as Brody hit a Bruiser Backbreajer that seemed to injure Hutton. It wasn't until the referee took a bump that Hutton hit a low blow on Brody and the real match began. Hutton worked over Brody and even hit multiple atomic drops, but Brody would not be put away that easily. He outlasted Hutton and regained control. Neither man seemed to have the control for long, but shockingly they kept it all in the ring. As both men became exhausted, Brody hit a twisting vertical suplex followed immediately by a Jumping Knee Drop to pick up the hard fought win!! Bruiser Brody retains the GWF Interplanetary Championship!!!

Grand Wrestling Federation Episode #6Wakefield, MAFebruary 12th, 2014 VS W/ Archibald Peck defeats Marion Fontaine by Pinfall at 1:57 (Drumroll). Veronica was on the apron talking trash to Fontaine as the bell rang. Fontaine confronted Veronica, which Peck capitalized on. Peck elbowed Fontaine in the back of his head, and then planted him with the Drumroll to pick up the win. Marion Fontaine was shocked and frustrated as he seeks an elusive win. VS Cherry Bomb (1) defeats Barbi Hayden by DQ at 7:34. Cherry Bomb controlled the majority of this match, surprising Hayden. Hayden fought back, but could not overcome Bomb's offense. The match ended suddenly as Angelus Layne cracked Cherry Bomb over the head with a steel chair, when she appeared out if the crowd. Criminal Justice look ready for the Valiants at Brawl in the Hall.

VS Jessica James defeats Delilah Doom (3) by DQ at 5:32. Jessica James was in full control until "The Banshee" Angelus Layne emerged from the crowd and laid out James and then Doom.
Still in the ring, Angelus Layne grabs a mic and calls out Commissioner Labar. She goes into a tirade on how she is the most dominant woman in the GWF. That she will continue to show it until she gets her well overdue title shot! Out comes Commissioner Labar. He tells Layne that she will get her title shot at Brawl in the Hall if she can defeat Sara Del Rey next week! But she has to cease attacking the rest of the women's roster or she will forfeit her shot. Also, if she loses she will be at the bottom of the rankings, so she better make the best of it!
