Stellar performance by the unlikely pairing of Nexus and Talon... When all is said and done, the Gladiators stand on top of the mountain...
No big surprises, but a really fun finish!

Ascend to Glory Match VS VS VS VS VS
Due to his injury, the Invincible Krakan was stripped of the Interplanetary Championship by Commissioner Ion, as the Invincible Krakan would not be able to defend his Championship in the required time. He has decreed that a new champion will be crowned and what better match than the Ascend to Glory Match. He has selected the top six competitors for this match, and he wishes each one the best of luck!

Stellar performance by the unlikely pairing of Nexus and Talon... When all is said and done, the Gladiators stand on top of the mountain... No big surprises, but a really fun finish! No big surprises for sure, but the leanness of the tag teams due to injury was a major factor. It definitely took out many teams I was planning on having compete, but oh well! Hopefully in 2088 there won't be as many injuries when it is time for the tournament again. The Gladiators are the team to beat right now, and they look unstoppable.

well the Gladiators continue a legacy (4x Cosmic Cup winners for me) but I was surprised to see Red Talon and Lord Nexus make it to the finals. tough break for the Greek Gods. Kraken defeated Proteus and Actagon got DQ'd against Star Warrior...still no clear victory in this encounter great show

VS Commander Sam defeats Pit Viper (1) by CountOut at 1:22. After connecting with a Sam's Slam, Commander Slam looked to be in the driver's seat. Pit Viper however wanted nothing to do with Sam and took a walk to the back, giving Sam the count out win.In the Evil Ones locker room, Exo-King is going over the game plan for the Ascend to Glory match. Duke of Destruction keeps trying to bring up Killer Queen's devious intentions, but Exo-King shuts him down. Exo-King continues to go over the plans, as Duke of Destruction looks frustrated VS Executioner defeats Red Talon by CountOut at 4:13. Executioner had no trouble with Red Talon. To make his point, Executioner hit a Piledriver from the apron down onto the floor. Red Talon was knocked out, and the count was academic at that point. In the docking bay, Ghengis Khan and Mutant await as Montrol disembarks from his space cruiser with a stasis pod. Khan checks over the details on the data pad, and nods approvingly. Montrol is given payment by Khan, and then climbs back into his cruiser and leaves. As the space cruiser leaves, Ghengis Khan is thinking out loud: "I hope our leader knows what he is doing, making a deal with the flamboyant one". Both members of the Society of Death leave with the stasis pod VS Proteus defeats Death Knight by Pinfall at 2:56 (Flying Elbow Drop). Proteus just dismantled Death Knight. In short order he hit a powerful flying elbow drop, and Death Knight was done!As Massif is shown backstage warming up, he is blindsided by Cmrade Terror and a brawl is on. Terror starts choking Massif with an electric cable, but the Giant is able to fight him off. Massif then slams Terror in the head with a trash can lid before throwing Terror into the vid cam. The vid cam goes out, as the feed is lost!! Who won the brawl? VS The Space Croppers (1,3) defeat the Society of Death by Submission at 8:03 (Spinecracker). The Society of Death took it to the Croppers. However, the Croppers were able to hold on and a counter saw Renegade lock on the SPINECRACKER on Mutant! Mutant was out of position, and ended up passing out in the hold! Massif is pissed as he enters the FDF locker room. He confronts Sam on where he was as he was attacked by Comrade Terror. He also questions Sam's intentions as he blames him for getting their team DQ'd in the Cosmic Cup Tournament. Commander Sam comes back with a slap to Massif's face. He tells Massif he is done with Massif's entitled attitude! He further goes on to say that Massif's ego is the problem, and that next card they both will face off, so that Sam can teach Massif some respect. Massif is furious, but leaves as his match is next GWF Interplanetary Championship Ascend to Glory Match VS VS VS VS VS Lord Nexus (6) defeats Massif (7), Actagon (8), Vanity (4), Exo-King (4), and Duke of Destruction (10) by climbing the ladder and claiming the GWF Interplanetary Championship at 33:59. This was an absolute war. No man will ever be the same as peach wa a bloody mess by the end of it! The ringside area looked like a war zone with all of the bent chairs and broken tables scattered all around. At the close, Lord Nexus was climbing for the title. Massif tried to stop him by also climbing the ladder. Both men threw punches at the top of the ladder. Ore Nexus however, smashed Massif's head into the ladder that sent the Giant tumbling down through a table! At that point, Lord Nexus was able to reach up and claim the title! Lord Nexus wins the GWF Interplanetary Championship!!!As Lord Nexus celebrates his hard fought win, he is blindsided by Killer Queen. Killer Queen lays into the Bloodied Nexus with dusts to his face. As Queen backs off, Lord Nexus explodes with a huge clothesline on Queen. Nexus then hits Queen with not one, but two TITAN DROPs that sent Queen reeling and from the ring. Lord Nexus stands tall, as Killer Queen stares venomously at him!

Those are my predictions. Makes my heart hurt a little to see Massif and Commander Sam go at it. But this'll be a great card.
