Cosmic CrownNight #2Warrior Village Coliseum; AethraMay 8th, 2088
Cosmic Crown Round #2
VS Massif defeats Death Knight (1) by Pinfall at 4:17 (Volcanic Drop). Massif has no issue in defeating the lackey of Thantos. Exo-King came out and tried to distract Massif, but it was to no avail as Massif just laughed at the King. VS Brute (2) defeats Executioner by DQ at 8:22. Executioner caused trouble for Brute, that was a shock to the Aethran crowd. Executioner was unexpectedly helped out as Splatter came out of the crowd and smashed Brute over the head with his club. The referee clearly saw the strike and awarded Brute the DQ finish. *The Aethran crowd was angry that Brute got attacked in such a manner. They started to pump up Brute with their chants, and Brute looked more determined than ever as he went to the back*Clarke Belt gives the rundown for the rematch between The Gladiators and the Carnival of Chaos, for the GWF Tag Team Championship. He then shows a replay showing that the Gladiators did indeed pin the illiberal man to win the GWF Tag Team Championship. His promo ends with, “Can the Gladiators retain their title tonight?” VS Actagon defeats Renegade (2) by Pinfall at 7:09 (Reverse Piledriver). Actagon was all business as he systematically took apart the Neptunian Wild Man. After wearing Renegade down enough, he crushed him a devestating move that gave him the win.*The Aethran crowd actually showed respect to Actagon again, as he put Renegade down with little trouble. Actagon was unsure what to make of it* VS Massacre defeats Lightening by DQ at 2:42. It was clear that the Carnival of Chaos members was just trying to weaken Massacre. After several warning by the referee, Lightwning motioned for the back, and out came Man-Mountain. The referee tried to stop the enormous man, but Mountain came into the ring and together with Lightening they attacked Massacre. The referee called for the bell immediately!*As the Aethran crowd watched the two on one assault, Massacre showed why he is the cerebral gladiator. He moved out of the way of a Man-Mountain splash, and it crushed Lightening instead. Massacre then chop blocked Man-Mountain and hit several running knees to the head to take the big man down. The Norse Gods then made a hasty retreat, as their plan to weaken Massacre failed*GWF Interplanetary Championship Fatal-4-Way (C) VS VS VS Executioner defeats Renegade (2), Death Knight (3), and Beast-Rider at by Pinfall at 14:23 (Headsman Guillotine). The battle between these men finally came to fruition and what a match it was. The referee gave a lot of leniency in this match, as he almost could not control it. A late match brawl threatened to end the match, but Executioner took advantage and put Beast -Rider down, and had the refeee’s attention so the count was made! Executioner retains the GWF Interplanetary Championship!!! *After the bell, Renegade when crazy and proceeded to attack everyone with a steel chair. He crushed the three other competitors , even his tag team partner Beast-Rider! As security rushed out, Renegade threw the chair down and left through the crowd*
Vanessa Orbit runs to catch up with Renegade to try and get an explanation for his actions after the match. When she does catch up and asks him her question, he turns on her crushes the mic and knocks her to the floor. As he looks as if he will go after her, he is intercepted by Proteus! The two start brawling until security breaks these two apart. As security gets it all under control, Renegade yells to Proteus, “I will see you next card, and will rend your bones Greek!”
Clarke Belt hypes the crowd with a rundown of the four finalists in the Cosmic Crown Tournament. Actagon, Massacre, Massif, and Brute are the remaining competitors, and one will surely win the tournament and a shot at the GWF Galaxian Championship!
Cosmic Crown Semi-Finals
VS
Actagon (1) defeats Brute (4) by Submission at 6:20 (Grecian Sleeper Grip). This was a collision. Both men did not back down, However Actagon was always one step ahead of Brute. The Aethran crowd watched, as Actagon clamped on his finisher in a way that almost could be considered a choke. Brute faded quickly and the referee raised Brutes arm three times, and three times it fell to his side, giving Actagon the win.
*The Aethran crowd was shocked, but then again gave a show of respect towards Actagon. It was short lived, as the Carnival of Chaos hit the ring and attacked Brute. Actagon would not stand for it and attacked the Carnival. Brute recovered, and together with Actagon sent the Carnival running towards the back. Brute then gave a slight nod to Actagon, who acknowledged the gesture*
VS
Massacre defeats Massif (1) by Pinfall at 8:18 (Decapitator). The giant of the FDF did not make it easy for the cerebral gladiator. However, Massacre kept his cool to overcome Massif. Massif made a mistake by charging Massacre in the corner. An elbow to Massif’s head set him up for the DECAPITATOR giving Massacre the win.
*The Aethran crowd gave Massacre a show of respect for his strategic win over the much bigger Massif*
Cosmic Crown Final
VS
Actagon (4) defeats Massacre (1) by Submission at 7:32 (Grecian Sleeper Grip). The finals between these two men was much anticipated. The Aethran crowd was ready to see Massacre win, but they were not against the possibility of Actagon winning. Both men tore into each other knowing the opportunity the victor will receive. As the match wore on, Actagon again clamped on his finisher in the same manner he did earlier against Brute. Massacre lasted longer than Brute in the hold, but he also fell victim to the Greek God’s finisher in the same manner! Actagon wins the Cosmic Crown Tournament of 2088!!!
*As the Aethran crowd took in just what happened, they slowly and then determinedly showed great respect to Actagon for his performance all throughout the Cosmic Crown Tournament. Again Actagon was taken aback by the gesture but nodded in understanding at the honor he was being bestowed*
GWF Tag Team Championship
(C) VS
Carnival of Chaos (0,1) defeats The Gladiators (5,3) by Pinfall at 10:58 (Hatchet Job). The animosity between these two teams was palpable, not even considering the disdain the crowd felt for the Carnival members. THis was going to be a fight, and a fight it was! The strength of the Gladiators was up against the underhanded tactics of the Carnival. As the match when on, the Carnival started a brawl, that got the referee distracted. With the referee distracted, Bishop Hell hit Massacre with the HELLFIRE. With Massacre weakened, Splatter took advantage and crushed Massacre with a HATCHET JOB. Bishop Hell was in position to trip up Brute, and the Carnival picked up the win! Carnival of Chaos win the GWF Tag Team Championship!!!
*After the bell, The Gladiators and the Carnival of Chaos continued to brawl. The crowd was furious at what they had just seen and were on the verge of a riot. Security made a B line for the ring and sought to get the teams separated. It took twenty minutes, before both teams were separated and taken to the back*
Cosmic Crown Presentation
The Aethran crowd was still trying to riot, until the Ministers of War came out, and they abruptly calmed down. The Minister of War informs the Aethran crowd that the war between The Gladiators and the Carnival of Chaos is just beginning. That because of their cowardly acts, that after speaking with Commissioner Ion, it has been determined that the Gladiators will face the Carnival of Chaos in a Fight Without Honor at card #9! Brute and Masaacre will crush those cowards and will bring glory to Aethra!!!
The Minister of War then proceeds to congratulate Actagon on his impressive performance in the Cosmic Crown Tournament. He also commented on his determination and shear tenacity, that all Aethran approve off. He then presents Actagon with the Cosmic Crown itself.
As soon as as this is happening, the presentation is interrupted by......
.......
......
Wolf!!!
Wolf is on the entrance ramp and bashed Actagon on his fluke wins. He goes on to say that “if” Actagon decides on using his challenge, that the end result will be like all other times, with Actagon tapping out in the SAVAGE FACE CLAW!!
The Aethran crowd boos Wolf as they have no respect for the leader of the Animen. The Minister of War tells Wolf that if he was as great as he thinks he is, then he would have won this tournament. That since Actagon won, and in impressive fashion, it shows that his wins against Actagon were a fluke!
Wolf is furious and starts hurling insults towards the crowd, Aethra, and Actagon. As the crowd is getting riled up, the Minister of War turns to Actagon and tells him, that when he challenges Wolf, to make that “mongrel” eat his words! Actagon nods both in respect and understanding, and then makes the belt motion around his waist, as Wolf raises the Galaxian Championship above his head, staring at Actagon with nothing but fury in his eyes!

Massacre winds up with the serious short end of the stick, losing his bid for the Cosmic Crown... And then he and Brute drop the tag belts... All in front of an Aethran crowd...
Interesting conclusion with the Minister of War and Actagon displaying mutual respect... Wolf is fired up... OWOOOOOOOO!

Interesting conclusion with the Minister of War and Actagon displaying mutual respect... Wolf is fired up... OWOOOOOOOO! Massacre seems to always come up short for me. He was impressive in the tournament, but could not overcome Actagon. Then, he had trouble with Splatter, which ended badly for the Gladiator. He is definitely not happy with how that night transpired!! The fight without honor between he agladiators Andrew the Carnival should be intense! Thanks again for your thoughts my friend!

Card #9 Canopus Civic Coliseum; Carina May 22nd, 2088 VS Harley Marlboro defeats Lightening (1) by Pinfall at 3:22 (Marlboro Rush). This match was like night and day from their previous one. Marlboro just dominated Lightning, and finished off the Carnival member with ease. VS Renegade (1) defeats a Proteus by Submission at 2:01 (Spinecracker). Renegade pulled out a quick win, by reversing Proteus and applied the Spinecracker in quick succession. Proteus was caught, and had no choice but to tap out.
VS Warriors of Death (1,0) defeat the Animen (2,0) by Submission at 32:07 (Grip of Doom). This match became the match of the night as both teams would not quit! Both teams gave their all to defeat the other. A classic in Tag Team Wrestling was witnessed. As both teams grew exhausted, all four men became embroiled in an in ring brawl. As the referee gained control, Duke of Destruction was able to catch Reptillo with his GRIP OF DOOM to score the win!
VS Exo-King defeats Mesmer (2) by Submission at 9:41 (Death Vise). Mesmer was a Ken to survive one DEATH VISE, but when he was caught in the second there was no escape. Exo-King had no trouble in picking up the win over the FDF sorcerer.
VS Society of Death (1,2) defeats the Flying Titans by DQ at 8:37. This rivalry never dies as both teams tore into each other. The referee had barely any control in this match. Ultimately, the referee had Tim DQ the Titans when in desperation Pit Viper hit a low blow on the Invincible Krakan.
Man-Mountain is seen unconscious and bleeding laying in the Carnival of Chaos locker room. It is trashed as it is a witness to an unseen fight and the resulting climax of that fight. As the camera pans the room it focuses on an out of place symbol..... GWF Interplanetary Championship (C) VS Executioner defeats Vanity (5) by Pinfall at 7:23 (Headsman Guillotine). Executioner has his hands full as the Creeper was in Vanity’s corner. This caused many problems for Executioner as the Creeper’s interference kept Vanity in the match. As it looked as if the Carnival would steel the match. The lights went out. When they came back on, the Crow was behind the Creeper and sadistically crushed the Creeper over the head with a steel chair. This shocked Vanity, and he took his focus off Executioner. Capitalizing on the situation, Executioner hit his finisher and it was over!! The Executioner retains the GWF Interplanetary Championship!!!*After the match, Vanity was checking on Creeper and the medical staff needed to carry him to the back* VS Killer Queen defeats Massif by DQ at 3:04. Killer Queen was in a foul mood as his Carnival was being attacked by this Crow. Killer Queen has Massif realign, and looked to injure the FDF member. However, the lights went out again. When they came back in the Crow was right in front of Killer Queen and blew a black mist into his face. The Crow then ran Killer Queen into the steel ring post. The referee called for the bell, as Killer Queen was in pain. Massif looked on in surprise at the Crow, but the light went out and when they came back on the Crow was gone. GWF Tag Team Championship Fight Without Honor(C) VS
Carnival of Chaos (1,0) defeats the Gladiators (5,0) by Pinfall at 14:08 (Flying Cross). The intensity of the his match was so thick it could be cut with a knife. Once the bell fans, the fists were thrown and more of a brawl than a match took place. Both teams brutalized each other with weapons that it looked as if a bomb went off by the end of this match! The end came when, Bishop Hell was able to block Brute from putting him through a table, and instead back body dropped Brute through the table. Brute was a bloody mess at this point, and Bishop Hell finished him off with a FLYING CROSS, while Splatter had Massacre tangled up. Carnival of Chaos retains the GWF Tag Team Championship!!! VS Thantos defeats Spike by Submission at 5:37 (Masterlock). Spike was to overcome with anger from what just happened to his fellow Gladiators that it cost him against the Gamemaster. Spike came out right at the game, but was unfocused and wild. Thantos was able to capitalize by chop blocking Spike then slapping on the MASTERLOCK. Spike burned his anger out trying to escape, but ended up passing out to the Gamemaster. GWF Galaxian Championship (C) VS Wolf defeats Actagon by Submission at 2:22 (Savage Face Claw). Even though Actagon was so impressive in the Cosmic Crown Tournament, and many thought he would beat Wolf this time, it was not so. In almost a mirror match from last time, Wolf just shredded through all of Actagon’s defenses and locked in the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. Actagon was caught, and with no other option, he was forced to tap out, giving Wolf the win!! *After the match, Wolf got on the mic and said that Actagon is nothing but a failure as he once again can’t defeat the Apex Predator!! And speaking of Predators..... Battering Ram and Incredible Badger return!!! Wolf goes on to say that the real Animen team is back, and they are on the hunt for the GWF Tag Team Championship!! Now that the pack is back together, the GWF should take note, as soon the Andromedeans will control all the gold!!! The cameras turn backstage were we see we see the Crow and Killer Queen amid a brawl. Killer Queen is first slammed into the beverage machines, and then smashed over the head with a holo cam!! The Crow then sets him up on the catering table and climbs up onto the top of the storage pods. The Crow then says “It can’t rain all the time”, and proceeds to put Queen through the table by connecting with a flying body splash!!! Security arrives to break it it up a second the show ends!

Superb win for Wolf as he shuts down Actagon... Looking forward to the return of the Pack... And continue to be impressed by the pairing of Bishop Hell and Splatter... The Crow is a tremendously exciting character... Great to see him getting tangled up in the action... Fun stuff! Wolf has been very impressive just shredding through his opponents in quick fashion. I a, not sure anyone can stop him right now! With the Pack returning, the field of the Tag team division just changed. I think they will pick up right we’re they left off with their dominant performances. The pairing of Bishop Hell and Splatter has surprised me. I expected them to dominant in the more hardcore matches, but they are excelling in regular matches as well! They are definitely making the Tag team division very interesting! The Crow is not shy about getting into the action, as he is already taking it to the Carnival. Will the Carnival be able to figure out how to take out the Crow, or will the Crow be a thorn the Carnival can’t remove? Either way it will be some great action! Thanks for the continued interest my friend!

Thanks for liking it my friend! The Warriors off Death and he Society of Death made a big impact winning both matches after coming back from injury! Executioner is just not letting the Interplanetary Championship go! He seems to have a firm grip on it, and no one seems to be able to take it off of him!
