Thoroughly enjoyed the opening round of the Cosmic Crown tourney even though I was hoping for Actagon to advance... Loving the sneaky tactics of Killer Queen to get the underhanded win over Beast-Rider... Excellent stuff!

got some right! Massif has been on a streak will this lead to a tite shot? Exo King wins, and he kept Viper from rallying. Brute wins but Khan manages to leave under his own power. Death Knight wins but Renegade showed defiance...so the Evil Ones give him a seat at the table Massacre wins but it wasn't an easy win and the SOD might be picking a fight they can't survive Killer Queen continues his winning ways as Rider gets DQ'd KQ has become a cerebral assassin in a way that would make Eddie Guerrero proud. Nexus shaking off the last loss win over Proteus...and the hot headed Greek God might be injured. seems a lot of that this card. Duke AGAIN gets one over Sam. man it seems the DoD has Sam's number (blinks) there's a Thanksgiving joke here somewhere... anyway Omega with the win... and Star Warrior survives Kraken. 3 out of 4 FDF got victories while the Evil One's had a clean sweep. both Gladiators advance. the crown is still up for grabs and Night 2 should be a barn burner

Thoroughly enjoyed the opening round of the Cosmic Crown tourney even though I was hoping for Actagon to advance... Loving the sneaky tactics of Killer Queen to get the underhanded win over Beast-Rider... Excellent stuff! Actagon VS Massif was a back and forth match, with no one gaining a clear advantage. Massif hit his finisher first, and came away with the win because of it. Killer Queen being sneaky just comes naturally to me. I don't see him stopping anytime soon. Thanks for the interest buddy!

The Gladiators did not expect to have such a hard fight against the Society of Death members. They need to be ready for their eventual showdown. Duke just knows how to beat Sam, which is rough for the patriot. I was shocked all of the Evil Ones advanced, and all of the Society of Death being eliminated. Tournaments are funny like that. Night 2 should be grand for sure! Thanks for the interest buddy!

Cosmic Crown Tournament Night #2Albireo Temple; CygnusSunday May 3rd
Cosmic Crown Semi-Finals
VS
Massacre (1) defeats Omega (3) by Pinfall at 6:21 (Decapitator). Omega frustrated Massacre in the early going, but Massacre gained control and it was over for the living legend, as Omega was finished after a DECAPITATOR.
*A video package hypes the crowning of the Cosmic Crown winner*
As Massif gets ready for his match, he is attacked by Killer Queen using a stun rod. Queen works the rid over Massif's mid section until Massif isn't moving. Queen is heard saying: "Do stay down and forfeit. It is not me, it is you!" Killer Queen walks off laughing, as the medical team checks on Massif
VS
Lord Nexus (4) defeats the Duke of Destruction (1) by Pinfall at 2:58 (Karate Chop). The Duke of Destruction was unable to frustrate the Titan leader. Lord Nexus say through the Duke's game, and picked up the win by stunning Duke with a Karate Chop
*After the match, Death Knight and Exo-King came out and with Duke's assistance proceeded to beat down Lord Nexus. Lord Nexus was hit by all three Evil news finishers, and was assualted horribly. The FDF and Pit Viper rush the ring to save Lord Nexus, but the damage was done. (Lord Nexus injured 5 cards). The referee cleared the ring of all but Star Warrior and Exo-King, and the next match was on*
VS
Star Warrior (2) defeats Exo-King (4) by Pinfall at 6:31 (Nova Launch). Star Warrior was not in the mood for any games, after what the Evil Ones did to Lord Nexus. The King had no answer, and was put away by Star Warrior with his patented finisher.
VS
Massif (4) defeats Killer Queen (2) by CountOut at 8:55. It was a question mark as to whether Massif would be able to compete after the backstage assault by Killer Queen. Massif came out, but it was clear he was worst for wear. Nonetheless, Massif fought through the pain and frustrated Killer Queen. After Massif was able to escape the CHECKMATE, Killer Quee was so shocked that he left the ring, giving Massif the count out win.
VS
Brute defeats Death Knight by Pinfall at 4:44 (Knife Edge). Death Knight threw everything at Brute he could, but it was to no avail. Brute just smirked and crushed Death Knight with a normal move to beat the enforcer of the Evil Ones.
*After the match, both Ghengis Khan and Mutant ran out to attack Brute. This brought out Massacre, and the referee called for the bell to the Tag Team Championship match!*
GWF Tag Team Championship
(C) VS
Society of Death (1,4) defeats the Gladiators (0,1) by DQ at 4:30. This was just a brawl between these two teams. The referee had no control and called for the bell when Brute crushed Mutant with a steel chair. The Gladiators retain the GWF Tag Team Championship!!!
*Security was needed to separate these two teams as they continued to fight after the bell*
GWF Interplanetary Championship
(C) VS
Massif (4) defeats The Invincible Krakan by DQ at 2:07. The Invincible Krakan looked bored as Massif struggled to get to the ring. After the referee rang the bell, Krakan crushed Massif with a steel chair right in view of the referee. The referee rang the bell, as the fans are really upset by the past two endings. The Invincible Krakan retains the GWF Interplanetary Championship!!!
Commissioner Ion comes out and informs the crowd that due to Injury Lord Nexus will not be able to compete in the final match to determine the winner of the Cosmic Crown Tournament. He goes on to say, the four winners: Brute, Massacre, Massif, and Star Warrior will face off in an Ascend to Glory match. The rules are simple. Be the first to climb the ladder and claim the baton to win the tournament. Commissioner Ion wishes all the competitors the best, as the final match of the Cosmic Crown Tournament is now!!
Cosmic Crown Tournament Final Ascend to Glory Match
VS VS VS
Star Warrior (1) defeats Massif (6), Massacre (3), and Brute (1) by climbing the ladder and taking the baton at 13:81. All of these men were determined to win the Cosmic Crown Tournament. They went full tilt against one another trying to win this match. This match was more of a tag team match of the Gladiators against the FDF, but the action was intense. When Massif had Brute occupied, Star Warrior was able to back body drop Massacre from the top of the ladder sending the Gladiator crashing to the mat. Star Warrior then reached up and claimed the baton and the win!!
Cosmic Crown Presentation
Commissioner Ion along with Vanessa Orbit present the Cosmic Crown to Star Warrior. Star Warrior accepts the crown gracefully. He then goes on to say, the tournament was rough, but he was able to persevere to win it. Star Warrior gives credit to all the other competitors that made it to the finals. Star Warrior them ends saying he looks forward to all the upcoming challenges, and is ready fir his next challenge.
GWF Galaxian Championship
(C) VS
Killer Queen (2) defeats Star Warrior (1) by DQ at 1:44. Killer Queen sauntered down to the ring looking all confident. Killer Queen started to use his underhanded tactics right away. As he went to hit Star Warrior with a chair, Star Warrior blocked it, took it from Queen, then proceeded to hit Queen with the chair in a moment of anger. The referee called for the bell right away. Star Warrior retains the GWF Galaxian Championship!!!
*After the bell, a fan jumps the barricade and attacks Star Warrior. Killer Queen jumps in and they double team Star Warrior and send him from the ring. The fan then takes off their hoodie revealing Vanity!! Flamboyance is reunited, as Vanity is back! The show goes off the air with Killer Queen holding the Galaxian Championship high above his head*

A spectacular night for Star Warrior comes crashing to a halt courtesy of Killer Queen and Vanity... So great to see this Flamboyant reunion and thinking it could stir some interesting dynamics into the FDF vs Evil Ones rivalry...
The four man Ladder War was a sweet conclusion to the Cosmic Crown tourney... But, I've gotta wonder of things would have turned out different if Nexus had been cleared to compete...
Maybe Khan & Mutant didn't win the tag straps, but they grabbed themselves a technical decision over the champs... And they held their own in a wild brawl with the Gladiators... No overlooking that... Combined with Krakan retaining the IP belt, it was a great showing for SoD...
Fun stuff!

Massacre starts the night defeating the living legend Killer Queen getting physical in his mind games. Lord Nexus with the win who kept his cool and focused but the after match beating ruins his chances. damn the Evil Ones. Star warrior wins and doesn't get attacked Massif gets a count out win as Queen's strategy fell apart and he had no plan to deal with a pissed off big man. Brute crushes Death Knight and the Evil Ones go no further a DQ still has to be a huge upset as the SOD's odd couple get a win over the tag team champions and another DQ. Massif beats Kraken. no rest for the weary as Star Warrior Ascends to Glort and the Cosmic Crown ..... Killer Queen gets a DQ over Star Warrior and we see the return of Vanity, in the words of good ol' JR...Business is about to pick up. great show

The reunion was great, and the FDF VS Evil Ones will be picking up. The Ladder War would most certainly been different if Lord Nexus was involved. The SoD and Gladiators are not done yet. More is still to come between those teams. Thanks as always buddy!

My dice continue to be bloodthirsty with injuries, but that just makes me roll with the punches. The fall out should be great, as not much was settled. Thanks as always for the interest buddy!!
