I use to like tournamenst. been a while since i had to hold one. You could have a different tag partner tag up in Paralyze's absence. Or you could just have DWF keep the titles .

My question to you is how long is Bloodline's injury and Paralyze's suspension?

I usually run a tournament if the belts become vacant due to suspension, injury, et al. I just like to run tournaments

I like tourneys too but the GWF seriously lacks tag teams (as does POW) perhaps call up a couple teams from the Z to fill out a tournament bracket.

My question to you is how long is Bloodline's injury and Paralyze's suspension? Bloodline is out for 3 weeks, Paralyze for 6. So what I would do Jmello, is have a rematch in 4 weeks with the titles on the line, and have another gladiator fill in for that one match. Titles only have to be defended every 4 weeks so it really would only be one match u really have to worry about. You can also have that rematch with Iron Hand force Rage to defend the titles on his own in a handicap match, as punishment. This is just what I would do, I don't like stripping champions unless I have too, like if a wrestler is out for a long time.

Divided We Fall had been my Tag Champs for a year and 4 or 5 months, but in September 2123 the Gladiators managed to beat DWF. The problem is Paralyze hit the PARALYZER and injured Bloodline. Then Iron Hand came out and suspended Paralyze for the next 2 months. Now my tag scene is all messed up. I was wondering what other promoters would do? Good booking question. My primary goal would be to turn these circumstances into a 'net positive' for as much of the roster as possible. I'd use the suspension/injury absences of the new (Gladiators) & former (DWF) Champions as a chance to elevate the other teams in the division. If Paralyze is out for six weeks I'd try to max out as much of that time as possible. I'd go with a six team five week Round Robin Tournament (slotting in an extra week for a tie breaker if necessary). Click here for a link to a Round Robin Tournament Generator. This would give several different teams their chance in the competitive spotlight. Depending upon how things end up you'd at least get one team as your new Tag Champions...probably create a few rivalry programs...and have at least one new 'top contender' emerge from with-in the RRT group. In the interim DWF would purposely have a few weeks left in limbo (which you can dress up) due to the consequences of Bloodline having been injured. The title round robin goes on without them having a chance to compete for the belts they once dominated (driving home everything the Glads have taken from them). Three weeks later Paralyze is back and you have your hot revenge program (with the Gladiators claiming to be the uncrowned Champions). As circumstances played out a Gladiators vs DWF program is naturally salable (injury/suspension issues, a lost title run for the Glads, DWF frustrated for having been left on the outside looking in). Less is more...you don't 'need' the tag belts in the equation in order to make their program work. Waiting in the wings you have other issues that will also flow (winner of the Glad/DWF feud claiming to be the 'real' uncrowned Tag Champions, the RRT Champs looking to prove themselves, etc.) Net positive.

I would do something totally different than everyone else is suggesting...
I would have Rage vs. Encubus for the Titles & have Rage "cheat to win"
Then I would hold Rage vs. DWF when Bloodline comes back for the Titles & again have Rage "cheat to win"
Three weeks later you can have your "real" return match when Paralyze comes back & you have all the build up from Rage doing whatever he could to hold on to the belts.

That's a pretty good idea, and I definately think it would make some good TV. I would also say that the idea of crowning new champs would be god, as it builds an instant fued/series of bouts when everyone is healthy and/or off suspension.

I was thinking a 4 team round robin which would set up a three way tag match between DWF/Gladiators/and the winner of the tournament. Maybe have a three way tournament between those three teams, DWF vs. Glads, DWF vs. Winners of tournament, Glads vs. winners of tournament, to crown the champs. That'd give me a few months of build up and three months of storylines, thus allowing me to wait until 2124 releases to know what angle to push.
