Hey Pariah! Card 8 had a lot going on inside and outside the ring - particularly enjoyed the impromptu match between Alpha Female and Perfect Spec. I agree with all the great comments on card 8 and Sonic Boom will be an epic night of wrestling for sure. I had the same question as cruefan68 but as I'm typing this I think I remember now - Death Masque Betrayer is the version of The Betrayer infected with Black Death right? Thoroughly looking forward to SONIC BOOM my friend - Fantastic stuff!! |

As always, very pleased that you enjoyed what's happened and that you're looking forward to what's to come... cruefan68 and Bri - When The Betrayer became infected by Black Death, he developed split personalities (each represented with their own card)... Death Masque Betrayer is a risk taking daredevil and Cage Death Betrayer is a hardcore monster... A very fun character, to say the least... Perfect Specimen has really been falling short of expectations and if he doesn't pick up the pace soon, Colby might start looking to replace him on the team... Alpha Female is no slouch in the ring, but I'm sure Colby doesn't see it that way... Truly appreciate the awesome feedback, my friends... I always liked the idea that there weren't two Betrayers but Tristan was the Death Masque version. Keep up the good work as always Pariah.

Except Tristan was still active in 2127 as Nitro's tag partner in what was left of the Infinity Challenge... BUT, what if Cage Death Betrayer doesn't make an appearance until 2128? Then would it be possible that the REAL Betrayer became the Cage Death persona while Tristan took over the identity of Death Masque? Always love the valuable input, my friend... This is something I'm really going to take my time mulling over... Many thanks! |

In my original GWF I played it that there were two Betrayers as they were identical twins and had Tristan reveal it after they put him out of action for 12 cards and ran a scam on the rest of the GWF thinking there was only one Betrayer. Cage Death & Death Masque caused a lot of havoc in my GWF. can't wait to figure out what they'll be like in the reboot with my godson. the Tristan idea for 2128 is a good idea and marking it as a possible also

Thanks for the explanation on The Betrayer. As you know I am not too deep into the COTG side of things due to running mainly LOW so it is good to hear about the characters. Also Sonic Boom looks stacked from top to bottom.

Just rolling out the big show now... Some fun stuff going on... TTX - Not sure about trusting each other, but I think MOW and PC will want to stay on the same page for this one... Overmaster and Paralyze are not a pair to be taken lightly... They will have their work cut out for them just to avoid being squashed. cruefan68 - Actually, I have to thank YOU for asking about The Betrayer... It looks like it opened a great discussion about possible directions for a cool character... In fact, I've even decided to go back to just calling him The Betrayer because no one really knows about his 'split personality' yet... Until circumstances dictate, it will only be Death Masque making appearances... Could give me some creative freedom on where I want to take this story. Truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, my friend... If my work night remains peaceful, I hope to post the results for Sonic Boom (probably in 3 parts like the last supercard)...
