For those keeping score, I did a quick review of the final cycle of 2129 and here are some key points going into 2130:
Cosmic Network of Wrestling
- Havoc defeated Raven at GalactiClash to retain the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship. The Loose Cannon is currently aligned with no one and seems more than willing to defend the title against all-comers.
- Endgame and End of Days have formed potentially the most powerful tag team in the history of the sport. Sur and Bex tried to claim the duo for Black Death, but they responded with a vicious beatdown. This is just the beginning for The End.
- Magnus Colby appears to be having some difficulties. First, the Twin Tyrants (Minister of War & Prime Colonizer) lost against two members of Fortress (Darkest Justice & Star Slayer) in the big blow-off match for their feud. If that wasn't enough of a setback, Colby's franchise player, Chaos Supreme, was beaten by Aethran Overmaster. No longer having much confidence in their manager, Elite Brigade (Prodigy & Vyper) severed their ties with Colby.
- The Gladiators of Aethra remain brutally consistent with Paralyze holding the Interstellar Open Championship while Rush & Turmoil are building on their fourth stint as Galaxian Tag Team Champions and are one title defense away from tying the record for most successful reign.
- The Guardian surprised Tauran with the return of his good friend, Anivar. Totally cured of the Black Death sickness, Anivar is back with the word 'ENFORCER' tattooed across his knuckles and Sleeper Cell waiting to strike out at anyone that does not follow the rules.
- She Devil continues to lead a group of misfits known as the Devil's Rejects. With Bishop Hell seeming intent on striking out on his own and Tricks performing some kind of vanishing act, She Devil has replenished her ranks with Psyclone, Splatter and the current Cosmic Charm Champion, Rhea.
- Crossfire and HelSin are now a team, calling themselves Silver Bullet. Their obvious target is the pairing of Balaal and Coven Black. However, their partnership also leaves Psi without a tag partner for the first time in three years and it's possible he might be feeling lost within the ranks of the Federation Defense Fighters.
- Catfight has an understanding with the current AniMen squad of Swarm, Mantis and Panther Warrior. Her chief concern seems to be the well-being of Lope, leading to a possible Beauty and the Beast scenario.
Superior Wrestling Xperience
- Murdok has returned and is preparing to challenge Monolith, who has an iron grip on the SWX Pure Heavyweight Championship.
- The Troubleshooters lost their bid to become four-time SWX Pure Tag Team Champions and have decided to retire.
- Vin Strutter continues to find success as each member of his Greatest Show stable currently holds a title. Theater of Pain are the SWX Pure Tag Team Champions and Steele Freak is the SWX Holonet Champion.
The rosters for 2130 are posted on page 273 of this thread for anyone that wishes to look them over... Otherwise, I think most of the storylines going forward will be relatively fresh...
