Pulsar made the following statement back stage in an interview following the match with Massif.

"I can't apologize enough! My actions were very uncharacteristic and I have no answers for why I did what I did. I'm hoping that Massif can accept my apology, I've tried to make amends with him before this interview! He said he understood and we shook hands. I think the best thing to do is move on from this and treat it as a learning experience. I'm still young and have a long ways to go. I shouldn't let the success I've had in this tournament go to my head. I hope everyone out there understands, and to my mentor and leader, Lord Nexus. I'm sorry for my actions, it won't happen again. Thank you."

Yeah I teamed Actagon and Nexus a few times in those early years.

Those teams were thrown together at the last minute. Mostly because The Gladiators weren't going to compete because of Massacre's suspension and the Greek Gods would have competed as a team, but who would honestly split up the tandem of Wolf and Proteus?! That team dominated the tag team ranks all year and are the number one team in the rankings!? Lord Nexus and Actagon could be a sleeper team as they are great tag team partners who respect one another. "Brute Terror" is a fun team, and who really knows how well they'll do as a team. They've both done very well in singles, so could go the distance! We'll have to see if they get a long good enough going into the 2088 season to team up again?

Match Notes: Lord Nexus finally understood what must have been going through the mind of young Pulsar, as he did the exact same thing outside the ring to Comrade Terror. Although, Terror not a fan favorite like Massif, Nexus didn't feel as bad beating Terror up. Nexus was Disqualified for his actions, allowing Terror to advance to the finals of Clash of the Champions for 3rd place. Is Nexus going to have to atone for his actions to Pulsar?

Renegade defeated Commander Sam with a SPINECRACKER at 2:00

Match Notes: Renegade was relentless in tonight's match. He just wouldn't give up on the SPINECRACKER and made Commander Sam submit! Renegade advances to the Finals of Clash of the Champions for 5th Place.

Killer Queen defeated Actagon with a CHECKMATE at 10:21

Match Notes: Killer Queen continues his hot "Killer" Streak as he made short work of Actagon with his CHECKMATE finisher over and over. Killer Queen will advance in the Clash of the Champions finals for 3rd Place to square off against Comrade Terror! That should be a very intense match up!

Wolf defeated Pulsar with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 9:17

Match Notes: In a Five Star Classic, and perhaps the best match up of the card thus far, Wolf gets a measure of revenge, defeating Pulsar with his Savage Face Claw! But Wolf really had to earn this win, as Pulsar really hung tough and is proving to be a force to reckon with inside that ring! Wolf moves on to the Finals to challenge for 5th Place when he meets Renegade in what should be a wild match!

Terror had the better of the exchange early, but Killer Queen was able to bounce back and tag in Vanity. Vanity hit a road block by the name of Brute who crushed him with a DECAPITATOR! Brute Terror moves on to the Semi Finals of the Tag Tournament! Can they go the distance and win this thing?

Match Notes: Lord Nexus catches Krakan off guard as Krakan was arguing with the referee about a slow count, Nexus hits his TITAN DROP and gets the victory! Actagon and Nexus move on to face Brute Terror in the Semi's! Who would have thunk these two make shift teams would go this far!? Who's going to win this colossal match up??

Executioner defeated Commander Sam with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 21:40

Match Notes: In a tremendous match up, both teams really gave it their all! Executioner has seemed to have Commander Sam's number lately, and hit's the Guillotine finisher when Sam came back into the ring from brawling outside! That spelled the end for the FDF. Executioner and Ghengis Khan move on to the Semi Finals!

Proteus/Wolf vs. and Exo-King, Death Knight
Exo-King defeated Proteus with a DEATH VISE at 3:17

Match Notes: The Royal Ones destroyed the #1 Tag Team with what seemed to be ease. Exo King locked in the DEATH VISE on Proteus, and it was over! Wolf was very upset with Proteus and left ringside without his partner!? Is this a sign these two will no longer tag up? The Royal Ones move on to face Executioner and Ghengis Khan in the Semi Finals!

Another stellar performance by Pulsar... Great to see the young Titan is not afraid to mix it up inside the ring...

Even though Wolf did not seem happy with Proteus following the main event, I don't expect a little friction to turn into a full blown rivalry... That being said, I suspect Wolf might be done with tag team action for awhile...
