ULTIMATE KOMBAT WRESTLING
King of the Indies ( kingoftheindies.proboards.com/) is proud to announce the arrival of its newest member organization. Ultimate Kombat Wrestling (UKW) is based in the Hollywood area, but will promote shows throughout Southern California, Southern Nevada and Arizona. UKW will pride itself on featuring the best independent wrestlers in the world and feature a rotating roster of sorts. UKW will support two singles championships, with neither championship being valued more then the other. The two singles championships will essentially divide UKW into two divisions and are called the UKW Best of the Best Championship and the UKW Underground Championship. Competitors chasing the UKW Best of the Best Championship will find they will be competing under standard pro wrestling rules. Matches are won by pinfall, submission, count out or disqualification. A wrestler will be counted out of the ring at a count of ten. Competitors chasing the UKW Underground Championship will find the rules to be a little more relaxed, as in there are no rules. No holds barred, anything goes and weapons are generally the norm. These matches tend to be very bloody, ultraviolent affairs. This title will be defended under 24-7 rules. UKW will also support a tag team championship that will bridge the two divisions. UKW is proud to introduce their weekly television program called KOMBAT and will have television tapings on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at the Oceanview Pavilion in Port Hueneme, California. UKW will also present several non-televised house shows and an internet pay per view quarterly, as well as an internet interview show called Ground Zero. UKW debuts Labor Day weekend as we will present a two night non-televised event at the Bren Events Center on the campus of UC-Irvine. We will have three single elimination tournaments to crown all our champions. King of the Indies is the place to find the best in indy wrestling action and that’s why Ultimate Kombat Wrestling has joined the fray. UKW is the ultimate in indy wrestling.

ULTIMATE KOMBAT WRESTLING
09-09-17 Oceanview Pavilion Port Hueneme, CA (Before the show begins, ring announcer James Trenton is in the middle of the ring.) JT: Welcome fans to the debut of UKW Kombat. Before the TV cameras start rolling I’d like to introduce the two men that will describe the action in the ring for the fans at home. The first man is an accomplished wrestler, who gained notoriety competing for the WWE before moving to the independent circuit. He’s competed all over the world for such organizations as Family Wrestling Entertainment, Championship Wrestling for Hollywood, Westside Extreme Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Noah and Vegas Championship Wrestling. He also began commentating while in WWE and it prepared him for doing commentary internationally for such organizations as Lucha Underground, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Please welcome Matt Striker. (The fans cheer as Striker comes to the ringside and takes his place at the announce position.) His partner at the announce table is a man that really needs no introduction. Fans, this man became world renowned as the voice of ECW. He has most recently worked for Evolve, Chikara and Beyond Wrestling. He is the ‘Voice of the Indies’ Joey Styles. (The fans again roar as Styles appears and takes his place next to Striker at the announce table. A brief moment later Warriors by Colton Dixon begins to blare through the sound system as the show goes on the air. Joey Styles and Matt Striker are seated at the ringside announce position.) Styles: Ultimate Kombat Wrestling is on the air. I’m Joey Styles, joined by Matt Striker, and this is Kombat. Before we go any further, I have something I need to say. I need to clear the air and start this off on the right foot. A lot has been made about a comment I made while doing commentary at a pro wrestling event in November of last year. I made a mistake. I want to go on record and apologize for the comment. I want to publicly apologize to the promoter of that show, apologize to the person the comment was directed at and apologize to the fans. Like I said I made an egregious error in judgment and I am sorry. I also want to thank the powers that be here at UKW that are giving me this opportunity. I understand what this means and I promise to do the best I can with what has been offered to me. Now with that out of the way, Matt, it’s great to be here with you. Striker: Joey, UKW offers a little something for every wrestling fan. We have a division that features some of the most athletic and entertaining wrestlers in the world. There’s a division of guys that all they want to do is bleed and make their opponents bleed … and of course there’s the tag teams. We have it all. Styles: Indeed we do. We start our action off in the Best of the Best Division with two big horses. I really hope they reinforced the ring supports for this match. Eric Watts w/ Ty Matthews vs. Keith Lee (BotB Division)Lee gained an early advantage and gained a near fall after the GROUND ZERO. Lee continued his assault and gained another near fall after a second GROUND ZERO. Lee followed up with a SPIRIT BOMB. Matthews was beside himself at ringside, but it didn’t matter as the ref made the three count.Styles: Keith Lee is the real deal. He ran through Eric Watts like the man was a cruiserweight. Striker: Lee is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the ring. Ty Matthews and Eric Watts better head to the back and study Hyperopitimism a little bit harder. Styles: I don’t think Hyperoptimism will make a difference against a man with the size and strength of Keith Lee, I don’t care how big you are. Our next match is in the Underground Division, but before we get to that we have some footage that was taken as the Underground Champion, Danny Havoc, was leaving the Bren Events Center after he won the title at the event last week in Irvine. (Footage is shown as Havoc is walking toward the back door of the Bren Event Center to leave the arena. He’s dressed in street clothes and carrying a gym bag. Out of nowhere Havoc is attacked by Sami Callihan. Callihan and Havoc exchanged blows as security quickly intervened. As security dragged Callihan away he yelled at Havoc that he had better watch his back because he was coming for his title. Havoc told Callihan that he would defend it any time, any where.) Styles: Danny Havoc’s words definitely ring true as the 24/7 rule is in effect for the UKW Underground Title. Striker: That’s the absolute truth. Anyone that shows up with a referee can challenge for that title at any time. It was lucky for Havoc that security arrived so quickly because Sami Callihan had the element of surprise on his side and may’ve been able to take that belt from the champ. Styles: The Underground Division will definitely prove to be interesting. Tracy Smothers vs. ‘Chainsaw’ Joe Gacy (Underground Division)The action started off back and forth then Gacy took things outside the ring. Gacy attempted a splash from the apron, but Smothers moved out of the way and Gacy hit the concrete with a splat. Smothers and Gacy continue to brawl outside the ring. Back in the ring Smothers gained a near fall with a moonsault bodyblock. The action spilled out of the ring again, where Smothers brutalized Gacy, whipping Gacy into the guardrail multiple times and ultimately smashing Gacy with a steel chair. Both men continued to brawl back and forth, inside and outside the ring. Gacy gained a near fall with a TOP ROPE SPLASH before taking the action back out of the ring. Gacy nailed Smothers with a steel chair then found a metal pipe. Smothers managed to wrestle the pipe away from Gacy and clobbered Gacy right between the eyes with it. Smothers followed up with a DDT on the concrete floor. Gacy was busted open. Smothers rolled Gacy back into the ring and attempted a flying body press. Gacy connected with a bicycle kick as Smothers came down and Smothers was out. Gacy made the easy pin. After the match, Gacy is attacked by Sabu. Smothers recovers and assists Smothers in double teaming Gacy. The men deliver a vicious beat down and Gacy is hurt. Gacy has to be assisted to the back.Styles: OH MY GOD! I think we just saw what we can expect from the Underground Division. It’s absolute violence. Striker: No doubt. With guys like Sabu, Smothers, Gacy … you can expect the blood will flow fast and often. Styles: I’m sure it will. It looks like Joe Gacy may’ve suffered an injury to his back. We’ll have to wait and see if he misses any time. Now let’s get back to the action. Kizarny (Sinn Bohdi & Darby Allin) vs. BLKOUT (BLK Jeez & Ruckus)Both teams battled back and forth until Ruckus nearly pinned Allin after a Ruckus Spike. Ruckus continued his assault and gained another near fall after the DREAM SEQUENCE. BLKOUT maintains the advantage. Jeez went for the pin after the BLK JESUS WALK. Bohdi rushed into the ring, as did Ruckus. All four wrestlers brawled wildly. Allin came out with the advantage and tagged Bohdi. The action continued with both teams making multiple tags. Ruckus pinned Bohdi after THE HATE CRIME.Brian Cage vs. Shane Strickland (BotB Division)Both men battled back and forth in the early going. Strickland gained a near fall with a 450 SPLASH. Strickland followed up with a springboard seated senton and gained another near fall. Strickland continued his assault and beat Cage with a slingshot double stomp.Styles: What a dominant performance by Shane Strickland. Striker: Brian Cage says he’s not a man, he’s a machine, but after that I think the machine needs to go in for some maintenance. Styles: Next up is another Underground Division match and oh my God is this going to be wild. Homicide vs. Sabu (Underground Division)Homicide was all over Sabu from the opening bell. Homicide took the action out of the ring and after whipping Sabu into the guard rail, Homicide clocked him with a metal pipe. Homicide continued to assault Sabu and took him all the way outside the building, where he smashed Sabu’s head off a parked car. Homicide continued to whip Sabu from pillar to post. Homicide thought he had the match won after the GRINGO KILLER, but Sabu managed to kick out of the pin attempt. Homicide maintained the advantage, but made a tactical error when he set too soon for a back body drop. Sabu countered with a quick piledriver. Homicide recovered and the action spilled out of the ring, where Homicide hit Sabu with a steel chair and a metal pipe, busting Sabu open. Homicide continued to assault Sabu outside the ring then rolled Sabu back in. Homicide pinned Sabu after a cobra clutch suplex. After the match, Sami Callihan stormed the ring and along with Homicide double teamed Sabu. The duo left Sabu battered and beaten. Tracy Smothers came to the ring to aid Sabu. Smothers grabed a mic and challenged Homicide and Callihan to a match on next week’s show, a match where the fans bring the weapons.Styles: Tracy Smothers has laid down the gauntlet for Homicide and Sami Callihan. Striker: Didn’t Smothers and Sabu do the same thing early to ‘Chainsaw’ Joe Gacy? Damn kharm’s a bitch. Styles: That may be true, but I guess we shouldn’t be surprised by the guys in the Underground Division. Next up we have some more tag team action. Classic Connection (Levi Shapiro & Buddy Royal) vs. The Colony (Worker Ant & Silver Ant) w/Fire AntThe Colony is allowed to function using the Freebird Rule so it is Worker and Silver Ant that compete in this match. The Colony has an early advantage, but Classic Connection counters. Royal nearly pins Silver Ant after the BOMBS AWAY. Royal continued his assault and made Silver Ant submit to a barbed wire crossface.Striker: I really like the Classic Connection. They come right at you, no nonsense, and just grind down their opponents until the walk away with the victory. Styles: They definitely have figured out the sweet science of tag team wrestling. Now it’s time for our main event and it’s action from the Best of the Best Division. Colt Cabana vs. Jimmy Rave (BotB Division)Rave gained the early advantage and wore Cabana down with FROM DUSK TIL DAWN. Cabana managed to escape, but was seriously ailing when Rave caught him with the DOPPLER EFFECT and made the pin.Styles: That Doppler Effect is devastating. Striker: It certainly is. Cabana was already in a weakened state, but after getting nailed with that knee, the pin was academic. Styles: I think this was a great debut show for us and I hope you fans enjoyed it. For Matt Striker, I’m Joey Styles. We’ll see you next time.

This is Keith Lee. (The camera pans out and Lee sits in a director’s next to Styles) Keith welcome to Ground Zero. On this week’s broadcast of Kombat you get a shot at the UKW Best of the Best Championship. The champion, AR Fox, and your styles differ greatly. Without revealing too much, what sort of game plan do you have to counter AR Fox’s aerial exploits. Lee: You say that our styles differ, but they really don’t. Sure AR Fox likes to fly around the ring and uses a high impact aerial style, but my offense is pretty high impact also. I actually think I’m a more well rounded wrestler than Fox. I can fly like a luchadore. I can wrestle a scientific match. And of course I can match strength and brawl with the best of ‘em. There really isn’t anything AR Fox can throw at me that I can’t handle. Styles: I’ll talk to AR Fox later on in this show. Is there anything you want me to pass along to him? Lee: Heh, heh, sure. Tell him I’m coming for him and that title. When you step in the ring with me, you’re going to be in for a fight. I hope AR Fox is ready because I don’t plan on walking out of Kombat without the Best of the Best title around my waist. I hope the fans are ready because any time I’m in the ring there’s no telling what they will see. The possibilities are limitless. Styles: Fans, I think Keith Lee is ready to challenge for the Best of the Best title and that’s exactly what he’ll do this week on Kombat. Stay tuned because we’ll be right back with a tag team that has a challenge to answer. Don’t go anywhere. ---------------------- (The show returns with the camera again focused on Joey Styles sitting in a director’s chair facing the camera directly.) Styles: Fans welcome back. My next guests on Ground Zero attacked Sabu last week on Kombat. Once the attack was over, Tracy Smothers came out to help Sabu and challenged them to a match where the fans bring the weapons. Now’s their chance to answer that challenge. Here are Homicide and Sami Callihan. (The camera shot pans out so Homicide and Callihan are shown seated next to Styles.) So let’s cut to the chase. Last week Tracy Smothers made a challenge. What is your answer? Callihan: OH MY GOD, Joey Styles. You make it out like Sabu didn’t get what he had coming to him. Why didn’t you talk about how he and Smothers attacked ‘Chainsaw’ Joe Gacy earlier in the show? That happened, remember? Styles: Fair enough. Tracy Smothers and Sabu did attack Joe Gacy following his match with Smothers earlier in that show, show I guess kharma is a bitch. Callihan: Kharma, nothing. Tracy Smothers is a bitch. He’s nothing more than a glorified jobber anywhere he goes. Sabu is an icon in hardcore wrestling and it will be a great honor to make him bleed in our match. Styles: So you accept the challenge? Homicide: You’re damn right we accept the challenge. I have respect for Sabu and like Sami said it will be an honor to make him bleed, but for Tracy Smothers making him bleed will just be an enjoyment. I have no respect for that little bitch and I will show it this week on Kombat. Styles: It sounds like viewer discretion may be needed for your match this week on Kombat. When we return from the break I’ll talk to UKW Best of the Best about his upcoming match against Keith Lee. Stay tuned. ---------------------- (The show returns with AR Fox seated next to Styles.) Styles: Welcome back to the show. As you can see I’m joined by UKW Best of the Best Champion AR Fox. AR, Keith Lee was on the show earlier and made it very clear you will be in for a helluva fight when he challenges you for that belt this week on Kombat. What are your thoughts? Fox: Joey, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I earned this belt. Look at the guys I beat to get it. I know in order to be called the best you have to beat the best. Keith Lee is one of the best wrestlers in the business today. He’s big, he’s quick, he’s strong … he’s a complete wrestler. Styles: So you think he could beat you? Fox: Heh, ya see, that’s the thing. I said he’s one of the best, but he’s not the best. I am … and if he thinks he’s taking this belt from me he’s sadly mistaken. I am the best of the best and I will show it once again this week on Kombat. Styles: That is one match I look forward to calling. It should be outstanding. I’d like to thank all my guests for being on the debut of Ground Zero and we’ll see you next time.

ULTIMATE KOMBAT WRESTLING
09-16-17 Oceanview Pavilion Port Hueneme, CA (Warriors by Colton Dixon blares through the sound system as Joey Styles and Matt Striker sit at the ringside announce position.) Styles: Hello and welcome back to Kombat. I’m Joey Styles, along with Matt Striker, and do we have a show for you today. The fans are on the edge of their seats as they can’t wait to participate in the fans bring the weapons match later in the show. Striker: Fan interaction is usually prohibited, but tonight they could be a deciding factor in the tag team match between the team of Tracy Smothers and Sabu and the team of Homicide and Sami Callihan. Styles: If that wasn’t enough, tonight’s main event is going to be huge. Striker: If by huge you mean a huge contrast of styles, then you hit the nail on the head. UKW Best of the Best Champion defends his title against Keith Lee. Styles: After talking to Keith Lee on Ground Zero this week, I’m not sure their styles are as different as you would think. But since we’re on the subject of huge, there’s a huge phenomenon sweeping the nation and that’s Hyperotimism. The First Progenitor of Hyperoptimism is Ty Matthews and he’s joined by his crusader in the cause, Eric Watts, as we start off our action with tag team wrestling. Gentlemen’s Club (Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy) vs. Hyperotimism (Eric Watts & Ty Matthews)Cassidy was a little sluggish as he started off against Watts, but Watts soon tagged Matthews and Cassidy woke up. Cassidy assaulted Matthews, but when Cassidy went to the top Matthews was ready and threw him from his perch. Matthews maintained the advantage and gained a near fall with a guillotine leg drop. The action then spilled out of the ring, where Matthews and Cassidy brawled wildly. Both men lost track of the referee’s count and both men were counted out.Styles: Orange Cassidy started out kinda slow, but he really picked things up once he woke up. Striker: It’s really too bad that Chuck Taylor didn’t get into the match. I think he’s a really underrated performer in the ring. I was really hoping to see what he could bring to the table in this match. Styles: Maybe some other time Matt. Right now we go to the Best of the Best Division as the always exciting Ricochet faces this well traveled competitor from Georgia. I’ve heard he’s ‘the man with the smallest package in wrestling’, it’s Jimmy Rave. Ricochet vs. Jimmy Rave (BotB Division)Rave came out fast against Ricochet and totally dominated the early going. Ricochet countered with a well placed and well timed jaw breaker. Ricochet followed up with the CHOCOLATE RAIN and gained a near fall. Rave was reeling when Ricochet delivered the Rickrack and made the pin.Styles: This match was all Jimmy Rave until Ricochet delivered that jaw breaker. Striker: And it was almost out of desperation that Ricochet delivered that move. I think he was just trying to get in some sort of offensive move to stop Rave’s momentum and he definitely accomplished that. Jimmy Rave’s offense came to a screeching halt from that point on. Styles: Indeed it did. Ricochet with another exciting notch in the win column. Speaking of exciting wrestlers, the Young Bucks are just that and they take on the up and coming Scarlet & Graves in our next match. Striker: This match will be intriguing because the Young Bucks are arguably the most successful tag team on the indy circuit and they are taking on a team in Scarlet & Graves that are disciples of one half of another very successful indy tag team in Jake Crist of OI4K. This should be fun. Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) vs. Scarlet & Graves (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz)Scarlet & Graves were overmatched as Nick was all over Xavier and gained a near fall after an INDYTAKER. Nick continued the assault and gained another near fall after MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. The Young Bucks followed up with another INDYTAKER and Nick pinned Xavier.Styles: Scarlet & Graves never stood a chance. The Young Bucks are just too good. Speaking of good, or maybe nothing good, that’s what will probably come from our next match as two of the best competitors in the Underground Division face off in our next match as Matt Tremont takes on ‘Wrench’ Connor Claxton. ‘Wrench’ Connor Claxton vs. Matt Tremont (Underground Division)Claxton jumped out to an early advantage, but Tremont was luring Claxton into a false sense of security as Tremont quickly countered Claxton’s assault. Tremont quickly delivers a URANAGE and pins Claxton.Styles: OH MY GOD! That was definitely an unexpected turn of events. Striker: Matt Tremont definitely didn’t come here to mess around. Styles: No way. No blood, no guts, the bell rings, a quick counter and then the uranage, Matt Tremont gets the duke. Well fans, it’s the time you’ve all been waiting for, especially the fans here in the arena. It’s time for the fans bring the weapons match, and I hope both teams know what they are getting themselves into. Striker: These four men have definitely seen their fair share of hardcore wrestling environments. I’m sure they’ll be just fine, so to speak, in this match. Styles: I’m not sure I’d use the phrase just fine when describing how these four men will be, especially when the match is over. I expect the blood to flow and the violence to be plentiful. It’s basically the type of match that is the epitome of the Underground Division. FANS BRING THE WEAPONS MATCH Tracy Smothers & Sabu vs. Homicide & Sami CallihanCallihan gained the early advantage on Sabu and took the action out of the ring. Callihan drags Sabu to the guard rail, where a fan hands him a bag of thumb tacks. Callihan slams Sabu hard on the concrete floor before dumping the bag of tacks on the floor. Callihan powerbombed Sabu on the tacks. Another fan immediately hands Callihan a staple gun, who proceeds to stable Sabu over and over. Callihan demands a fan to move, reaches over the guard rail and grabs the fan’s chair. Callihan turned around and Sabu grabbed the chair. Sabu is able to pull the chair away from Callihan and nail Callihan with the chair. Sabu rolled Callihan back into the ring and tagged Smothers. Callihan recovered and both men battled back and forth. Homicide made it into the match and the action spilled out of the ring. Homicide has Smothers up against the guard rail and grabs a crutch from a fan. Smothers manages to sweep Homicide’s leg, sending Homicide face first into the guard rail. Smothers then grabs the crutch and beats Homicide unmercifully with it. Two fans throw a pair of baking sheets at the competitors. Each man picks one up, but Homicide knocks Smothers’ baking sheet out of his hand then clobbers him with the other one. Homicide grabs a plunger from a fan, sticks it to Smothers’ face and drags Smothers right into the guard rail. Homicide rolled Smothers back into the ring, where he attacked Smothers with a fork. Homicide delivered DA GRINGO KILLER and went for the pin, but Sabu broke it up. Homicide delivered DA GRINGO KILLER a second time and made the cover. Sabu tried to break up the pin again, but was met by Callihan and the ref made the three count. After the match Sabu and Callihan continued to brawl around the ring. Homicide gloated as Smothers recovered and attacked Homicide from behind. Smothers drags Homicide out of the ring, where a fan tosses Smothers a barbed wire baseball bat. Smothers destroys Homicide with the bat, leaving him a beaten bloody mess at ringside. Smothers then grabs a beer from a fan and celebrates his act of violence.Styles: OH MY GOD, what carnage. The violence has definitely exceeded my expectations. Styles: Tracy Smothers definitely knows his way around weapons, but I’m not sure I agree with what he did to Homicide when the match was over. Styles: I think it’s safe to say Tracy Smothers isn’t too fond of losing, but he is fond of hops and barley. I have the feeling we haven’t heard the end of this rivalry. Now it’s time for our main event and this is going to be a tough test for AR Fox. Striker: I think that’s an understatement. Lee outweighs Fox by nearly 200 pounds. Fox will need to use his speed to stay out of the grasp of Lee if he wants to stand a chance of retaining his title. Styles: AR Fox and Keith Lee … for the Best of the Best Title … and it happens right now. BEST OF THE BEST TITLE MATCH Keith Lee vs. Best of the Best Champion AR FoxLee used his power and gained the early advantage. Lee gained a near fall after delivering a devastating SPIRIT BOMB. Lee continued his assault, but Fox countered and the pace of the match quickened. Fox gained a near fall with a springboard 450 splash. Fox continued to overwhelm Lee with several high impact aerial maneuvers, not letting Lee catch his breath. Fox showed off his strength as he delivered the KRUNCH and pinned Lee to retain the title.Styles: What a match! Keith Lee looked really good early and made it look as if this was going to be a very quick match as he waltzed to the Best of the Best Title, but AR Fox had something to say about it. Striker: He definitely did and what about the show of strength by Fox to end the match. AR Fox is the real deal. Styles: He definitely showed why he is the Best of the Best Champion. It’s been a great show, but unfortunately it has reached its end. Be sure to log on to the UKW website this week to catch the latest edition of Ground Zero otherwise for Matt Striker, I’m Joey Styles and we’ll see ya next time.

ULTIMATE KOMBAT WRESTLING
GROUND ZERO (The show opens focused on Joey Styles sitting in a director’s chair facing the camera directly.) Styles: Hello and welcome back to Ground Zero. I’m your host Joey Styles and my first guest on today’s show is a man that has to have eyes in the back of his head at all times. He’s the UKW Underground Champion Danny Havoc. (The camera pans out and Havoc sits in a director’s next to Styles) Danny, you’ve been a busy man since you’ve won the UKW Underground Title a couple of weeks ago. You have to be ready to defend your title all the time with the 24/7 rule. What is that like? Havoc: I’ll be honest. It’s been tough. I’m on edge all the time. I never really know when I’m going to get jumped from behind. Don’t get me wrong, though. Regardless of whether I’m jumped from behind or someone is a man and meets me face to face, I’ll defend this belt any way I have to. Styles: That being said, you have a scheduled title defense coming up on Kombat with ‘Chainsaw’ Joe Gacy. With the auspice of the 24/7 rule, will you be able to focus on a match you know you’re going to have. Havoc: Like I said, I’ll defend this belt any where, any time, against any body. I’m in that mindset. It actually works to my advantage to know who my opponent is going to be. I can actually prepare a little. I’m a fighter. I always have been … and that is what I’ll continue to do. Styles: Thank you for joining me and good luck in your continued reign as UKW Underground champion. (The show returns with the camera again focused on Joey Styles sitting in a director’s chair facing the camera directly.) Styles: Welcome back. My next guests have taken UKW by storm and are one of the best tag teams in indy wrestling today. Here is Da Hit Squad, Dan Maff & Monsta Mack. (The camera shot pans out so Maff and Mack are shown seated next to Styles.) Thanks for joining me. You guys have done nothing but win since you’ve arrived in UKW and as a result, you’re getting a KOTI Tag Team Title shot. Mack: Ya know, Danny and I have been all over the country, winning titles and kicking ass. That’s what we do and we have no problem putting another set of titles around our waists. Styles: KOTI Tag Team Champions Kenny Omega and Chris Sabin have proven to be a tough team to beat. How do you plan on beating them. Maff: We’re just going to do us. Ya know get in the ring and do our thing. So far that’s worked pretty well for us. Styles: Now let’s talk about another match you’ve got coming up and that’s a UKW Tag Team Title defense against BLKOUT, BLK Jeez and Ruckus. Those two are a couple of rough and tough guys, much like yourselves. What are your thoughts going into that match? Mack: We’re thinking about what we always think about … pain and violence. We like pain and violence. BLKOUT likes pain and violence … but no one beats us at our own game. Styles: That match is going to be brutal for sure. Thanks to Da Hit Squad and Danny Havoc for joining me on this edition of Ground Zero. We’ll see ya next time.

ULTIMATE KOMBAT WRESTLING
09-23-17 Oceanview Pavilion Port Hueneme, CA (Warriors by Colton Dixon blares through the sound system as Joey Styles and Matt Striker sit at the ringside announce position.) Styles: Hello and welcome to Kombat. I’m Joey Styles, along with Matt Striker, and we have another great show for you, highlighted by not one, but two title matches. Striker: That’s right Joey. UKW Tag Team Champions Da Hit Squad will defend their titles against BLKOUT and ‘Chainsaw’ Joe Gacy will challenge UKW Underground Champion Danny Havoc for that title. Styles: A couple weeks ago Gacy was the victim of an attack from Tracy Smothers and Sabu following a match. It will be interesting to see if Gacy is still suffering some effects from that attack. We start things off, though, in the the Best of the Best Division with Rocky Romero and a man you’ve been looking forward to see in action Matt, Chuck Taylor. Rocky Romero vs. Chuck Taylor (BotB Division)Taylor came right at Romero with several high impact moves and gained a near fall with a springboard moonsault. Taylor continued his assault and gained several more near falls before Romero finally was able to counter and nearly took Taylors head off with a running lariat. Romero maintained the advantage and gained a near fall after a hurricanrana. Romero poured it on and after wearing Taylor down, made him submit to the DIABLO ARMBAR.Styles: Rocky Romero has absolutely stunned this crowd and that includes me. I though Chuck Taylor had this match in the bag with the way he dominated Rocky Romero throughout the first part of this match, but Romero made and incredible comeback. Striker: Chuck Taylor definitely showed what he could do in the ring, but just couldn’t put Romero away and it definitely cost him. Styles: It did indeed. Our next match is from our Underground Division. It pits Devon Moore against the man that teamed with Homicide last week to take on the team of Tracy Smothers and Sabu in a fans bring the weapons match. That man is Sami Callihan and although Callihan’s team was victorious, I’m not sure they felt like winners after the match. Striker: Tracy Smothers attacked Homicide after the match as Callihan brawled with Sabu. I’m pretty sure that feud isn’t over, we’ll just have to wait and see. Styles: Let’s go to the ring. Sami Callihan vs. Devon Moore (Underground Division)Both men back and forth, trying to gain the advantage in the early going. Callihan gained a quick near fall after a Forearm 2 Remember. Moore recovered and the match continued back and forth. Moore gained a near fall after an STO. Moore followed up with a COUNTRY BOY PRESS and gained another near fall. Callihan made a comeback and the action continued back and forth. The action spilled out of the ring, where Callihan planted Moore with a powerbomb. Callihan went for the STRETCH MUFFLER outside the ring, but Moore countered with a low blow. Back in the ring Moore delivered back to back running brainbusters and gained a near fall. The action ended up back outside the ring, where Callihan was busted open after Moore bounced his head off the ring post. Callihan looked to be in bad shape, but delivered a low blow to change the tide. Callihan continued his assault, but Moore countered. Moore pinned Callihan after an STO.Styles: Devon Moore with a very hard fought victory. Fans I’m getting word that there is something going on in the back. I think we have a camera back there, so let’s go to it now. (A camera man follows Tracy Smothers into the men’s room, where Smothers confronts UKW Underground Champion Danny Havoc. Smothers and Havoc exchange words briefly before a referee shows up and Smothers attacks.) UKW UNDERGROUND TITLE MATCH Tracy Smothers vs. UKW Underground Champion Danny HavocBoth men brawl momentarily before Havoc grabs a bag of chemicals and throws it in Smothers’ face. Havoc planted Smothers with Q2QL3 and looked to put an end to this. Havoc delivered back to back piledrivers and Smothers was in real trouble. Smothers battled back and busted a mop over Havoc’s back. Smothers continued his attack, but Havoc grabbed a paper towel dispenser and smashed Smothers in the head with it. Smothers was busted open. Smothers recovered, stuck Havoc’s head in the toilet and flushed, giving him a swirly. Havoc made a come back and both men brawled back out to ringside. Smothers rolled Havoc into the ring, where he delivered back to back JAWJACKERS and gained a near fall. Havoc tried to battle back, but Smothers countered and pinned him after another JAWJACKER to win the title.Styles: OH MY GOD! We have a new UKW Underground Champion. Danny Havoc has fallen victim to the 24/7 rule that goes along with the Underground Title. Striker: He certainly did. And how about Tracy Smothers? He’s caused nothing but hate and discontent since showing up in UKW. Styles: You’ve got that right. It is my understanding that Tracy Smothers will now have to defend his newly won title against ‘Chainsaw’ Joe Gacy in our main event. Right now, more action from the Best of the Best Division. Eric Watts w/Ty Matthews vs. Brian Cage (BotB Division)After an early back and forth brawl, Watts gained a near fall with a running power slam. Cage recovered and both men brawled back and forth. The action spilled out of the ring and both men were counted out.Styles: I’m not sure that’s the result either man wanted, but when you brawl as hard as they were, it was bound to happen. Oh man, I’m getting word that Danny Havoc has attacked Tracy Smothers backstage. We’re going there now. (The scene shifts backstage where Havoc and Smothers are indeed involved in a brawl. There looks to be a referee as well so this is now a title defense for Smothers.) UKW UNDERGROUND TITLE MATCH Danny Havoc vs. UKW Underground Champion Tracy SmothersHavoc grabbed a broom, but Smothers, who had a bandage on his head, wrestled it away from him and busted it across Havoc’s back. Havoc battled back and grabbed a steel pole. Smothers kicked Havoc in the midsection and the pole dropped to the floor. Smothers gained the advantage and grabbed the pole. Smothers wholloped Havoc in the side of the head with the steel pole. Havoc was gushing blood as Smothers attempted a pin. Somehow, Havoc managed to kick out. Havoc showed his moxy as he was able to battle back. Havoc slammed Smothers’ head in between a big steel door and the door jamb. Havoc drags Smothers to ringside and nails him with the ring bell. The bandage fell off Smothers’ head and blood flew everywhere. Both men were now a bloody mess, but it didn’t stop Havoc from grabbing a pitcher of water off the timekeeper’s table and smashing over Smothers’ head. Smothers caught Havoc with a low blow and began to crawl to the backstage are in an attempt to get away. Havoc recovered and followed Smothers backstage. Smothers is waiting for Havoc as he comes backstage and nails him with a light tube. Havoc goes down, but as Smothers tries to continue his assault, Havoc grabbed a spot light and hit Smothers with it. Both men brawled back to ringside, where Smothers gained the advantage and rolled Havoc back into the ring. Smothers delivered a JAWJACKER and made the pin to retain the title. Smothers signaled to the back and out came Sabu and Kizarny (Sinn Bohdi & Darby Allin). The four of them proceeded to beat down a barely conscious Havoc. They leave him for dead and as Smothers grabs a ringside mic.Smothers: Let me introduce all of you to the Gang of Four. We are here to take over Ultimate Kombat Wrestling and destroy every wrestler here. Danny Havoc is the first of many and no one is going to take this belt from my waist. You have been warned. Styles: What a show it’s been. This has been unreal, but it’s not over yet. We still have our main event. I was informed during the break that UKW Underground Champion is refusing to defend the title against ‘Chainsaw’ Joe Gacy today and has left the building, along with Sabu and Kizarny. So our main event will be UKW Tag Team Champions Da Hit Squad defending against BLKOUT. Striker: With as wild as today’s show has been, I really don’t know what to expect in this match. BLK Jeez and Ruckus have been known to bend the rules from time to time, so to speak, but Da Hit Squad is so big and strong, I’m not sure it really matters. Styles: That match happens now. UKW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH BLKOUT (BLK Jeez & Ruckus) vs. UKW Tag Team Champions Da Hit Squad (Dan Maff & Monsta Mack)Da Hit Squad tried to use their strength to gain the early advantage, but it was Ruckus with an early near fall on Mack after THE HATE CRIME. Mack recovered and the match continued back and forth with both teams executing multiple tags. Maff had Jeez down after a BURNING HAMMER, but Jeez kicked out. Maff continued his assault, but Jeez was able to tag Ruckus, who gained a near fall after a Chronic Crash. Ruckus continued his assault, but missed a tope suicida. Da Hit Squad capitalized quickly with a FIGURE FOUR & FROG SPLASH to gain a near fall. The action spilled out of the ring, where Ruckus and Maff brawled. Both men lost track of the count and were counted out.Styles: A disappointing ending to what was turning into a great match. Hopefully we’ll get to see these teams battle again some time. We’re out of time so for Matt Striker, I’m Joey Styles and we’ll see ya next time.

ULTIMATE KOMBAT WRESTLING
09-29-17 Oceanview Pavilion Port Hueneme, CA Chuck Taylor vs. Colt Cabana (BotB Division)After gaining several near falls, Cabana made Taylor submit to the BILLY GOAT’S CURSE.Kizarny (Sinn Bohdi & Darby Allin) vs. Scarlet & Graves (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) w/ UKW Underground Champion Tracy SmothersThis was a great back and forth match, but S&G finally gained the advantage and Wentz pinned Allin after a BAYWOOD BOMB.Masada vs. Homicide (Underground Division)For fans of the Underground Division, this was a dream match. Both men brawled back and forth until Homicide gained the advantage and turned Masada’s face into a bloody mess by attacking him with a fork. The action continued back and forth, but Homicide was not to be denied and he pinned Masada, actually leaving the fork stuck in Masada’s head. The Colony (Worker Ant & Silver Ant) w/Fire Antvs. Hyperotimism (Eric Watts & Ty Matthews) vs. Gentlemen’s Club (‘The Kentucky Gentleman’ Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy)Taylor pulled double duty on this night and after not having much success earlier in the night, he redeemed himself by pinning Worker Ant after a somersault suicide dive.UKW UNDERGROUND TITLE MATCH Sami Callihan vs. UKW Underground Champion Tracy Smothers (Underground Division)Callihan was all over Smothers from the opening bell. After complete domination Callihan had Smothers locked in the STRETCH MUFFLER in the center of the ring. Kizarny hits the ring and attacks Callihan. Homicide came out to aid Callihan, but the numbers proved to be too much and Callihan is left beaten and bloody. Smothers easily makes the pin.
