I've played with kids as young as 8, as long as they can read, it's not too hard. A game should probably take around 30-45 minutes depending on number of players.
For those who enjoy Smash Up, Smash Up Marvel Edition or Marvel Smash Up (not quite sure which way they're going) an 8 faction expansion is coming soon.
