I've run cards with over 200 matches before....it's all good. I have 130 people in my Legends online fed for instance and use everyone in the GWFZ usually at the same time.

Usually, I go a full calendar year, so around 48-52 cards. 12 Super cards/PPV.
With my Territories it's like over 100 cards, 40 Super cards/PPV. Seems like a lot, but it goes fast & when it's fun, hard to stop! 😊

Thanks for all the replies! I want to get my GWF years to go by. I could start in 2119 or 2125 but I like the idea of having my own history. Guess I fell like I could possibly make connections. I think I'm liking the idea of 25-30. My GWFZ fed also seems to be going slow and I'm only in 2121.
This is the only thing I dislike about huge rosters. I might try running my early GWF more through the PbP sim and only roll big matches I want to see. The PbP is working in Online right?

I run my Early Classics fed much like a combo of early territory/modern indy: there is absolutely room for "house shows" that take place "off screen", but really there's only 1 or 2 "canon" shows/month. As the years have gone on, I've slowly added more super shows and tournaments. 2075 had 12 cards, but now that I'm up to 2080, 2080 will have 12 regular cards, 4 super-cards, and the F-Cup tournament final, for a total of 17 cards. By 2088, I intend on being closer to 26 cards/year. Eventually, I may go with a full-scale schedule resulting in 56-64 cards per year (weekly TV, Super card every 5-6 weeks, tournament shows, etc), but I'm not sure. I may stick with a shorter schedule with 4-6 super cards per year and 4-6 lead up shows per super card. Keep a schedule similar to NJPW as opposed to WWE.

I used to do 36 but trimmed it down to 30. Gives enough time for good feuds to play out and characters to develop/grow.

Back in my original fed I ran 48-60, with 12 supercards, kind of like Pro Wrestling today. Now that I've restarted I've changed how I do things...
For example, I play now, not like WWE building towards a PPV but more like UFC, every card is like a supercard. So in the early years I ran 6 cards, then moved to 8 then 12, now I'm in 2093 and I run 16 cards a year. I haven't decided if I want to max out at 24 or 30 yet, but I find this works for me as all my cards feel important. Plus the number of true Supercards is low, I think I'm a max out between 4-6 so they feel Super.
I've returned after a 14 year hiatus and I'm still working out kinks as I go along, but I'm enjoying how it's going so far.

I'm definitely doing something wrong, so Mr. Beefy can throw my number out, because right now I have 2 TV shows a week (with 6 matches each) and 6 pay-per-views, coming out to 110 cards a year. No wonder why I'll never catch up. Side note: I run a huge fed. Hey now Brucetosis nothing wrong with the number you run lol Think of the longer builds to a program you can accomplish with your number. How many wrestlers do you have on your roster at the moment?

I just counted....I have 75, but I just brought about half a dozen back into the fold (this number does not include non-wrestling managers). I have a format where I go deep into storytelling, and try not to have people wrestle on back-to-back shows (unless it's around a PPV). All 75 get play this way, some just fade into the background for a once-in-a-while match while other people in feuds get spotlighted. I feel like I do a pretty good job keeping people around, but if I truly can't figure out what to do with them, I'll put them in a separate pile while I wait for the opportunity for them to come back presents itself. This is all COTG, and I'm in 2098. Yes, I've actually retired people (but on my schedule), and I have only one bootleg.

Although I play a much more frequent schedule for my LOW and Indy feds, my COTG fed has just 12 shows/year (and yet I am still behind lol- currently in May 2130. .)
