Jim Cornette Jimmy Hart (Memphis days) Gary Hart JJ Dillon Kevin Sullivan Honorable mention: I would put Larry Sweeney on the list with these guys if not for his sadly short career, as he wasn't around long enough to reach legend status.

In no particular order, I picked Grand Wizard, Gary Hart, Jimmy Hart, Lou Albano, and Sherri Martel, she managed some all time greats and was always willing to jump in and not afraid to take a bump from any man.

After Heenan, the greatest manager in WWE history is Paul Heyman. Guided the career of the GOAT, was in the corner of Brock when he broke the streak etc..
Then probably Mr. Fuji. Demolition was epic. Paul Ellering never really gets credit for the Road Warriors like Cornette does for his Midnight Express teams, so I'd put then 3rd and 4th respectively.
Guys like Slick and Jimmy Hart were fun in a goofy 80's WWF way but I never saw them as serious managers like Heenan. But they served their purpose. So either of them or Ms. Elizabeth as 5th.

My top three definitely have to be Heenan, Heyman and Cornette. Miss Elizabeth is one of the unmentioned ones who is a dark horse though... During the 80's (especially) and even in to the early 90's she was one of the most popular figures in wrestling, period. Obviously she wasn't a big talker, but she was a unique manager nonetheless. The way Savage and her played off of each other, chemistry-wise, was a one of a kind thing. Just like Cornette worked perfectly with the Midnights - She and Savage together were just awesome. (So says the guy with the Randy Savage pic as an avatar hehe)
