Since I'm posting more I figured I should introduce myself. I'm an old time player, who picked up the game during the Monday Night Wars. I fell in love with the game at 14 and used to share my fed on the original, old, single thread message board. That and we used to have a yahoo group (?? Was it yahoo??) were we would email results and you would get them like a fed delivery system. Anyway, you grow up and i had too much going on. Hell I even stopped watching wrestling when John Cena became the top act.
Anyway, I haven't played since 2003 or maybe 2004 so after 13-14 years I'm back! Things are a lot different (online is very convenient, but weird when you played table top your whole life) and I don't really remember the names around, (except for Jim Steel, who could forget that name). But it feels good to be booking and promoting again. Took a while to get back in the mindset, but I really am glad this game is still around and thriving.
I used to keep on my fed results on a MacBook I got in '99, that hasn't made the over a decade long journey. I left off in Sudden Death 2114 or '15, hell maybe 16, I can't remember. I just remember Next Generation was having 5 star matches every month and barely hanging onto the tag titles. I was in love with Godsend's character and couldn't wait to introduce him to by fed. I was so close to my goal of "catching up" to the current timeline lol.
So with my fed history gone, I had to decide to start anew or in 2119. I tried to start in 2119, but it didn't feel right. So I started from stratch and 2-3 months later, I'm in 2093. I'm bought more sets and there's a lot of things I had forgotten over the years and I can't wait to play through it all again. Just reading the names and the feuds are already bringing back so many good memories. I won't post my fed much probably cause of the time constraints, but I've read plenty of your Feds and love that the community is still growing and creative.
anyway, it's been a long journey but I'm glad to be back. I'll be talking to you all. Thanks for reading my story.
