I saw that there are still some tickets available for this Saturday's TV tapings but once again the Friday Anniversary PPV is already sold out at Sam's Town. I am always glad to see ROH sell out here in Las Vegas since it makes it more likely they will be returning again soon. Isn't Sam's Town a small venue? In my opinion, when I rewatch the matches from Sam's Town, the venue appears smaller on TV or the Internet than it is because the bleachers ROH uses there take up alot of space. Paragon Pro also used those bleachers for those shows at Sam's Town, but FSW usually does not and the room always seems alot more spacious for FSW shows. {On a side note, I personally like to sit in the bleachers if I do not have front row (sitting front row for Friday's PPV, sitting in bleachers for Saturday's TV tapings) because it is much easier for me to see everything from an elevated position compared to siting 3 or 4 rows back on the floor.} The other venue ROH used here in Las Vegas for an Anniversary PPV (2015) was the Orleans Showroom. I think the Orleans Showroom is bigger (that show also sold out,) but I consider Sam's Town as the better venue and prefer to go there for wrestling even though I live much closer to the Orleans. It is my understanding that ROH gets a much better deal at Sam's Town than the Orleans. Although the attendance capacity might be greater at the Orleans, ROH appears happy with the Sam's Town turnout as Friday will be their 5th PPV there in the past 25 months.

no surprise....the Vegas crowd really seems to like ROH. they are showing up now, but I remember when ROH first came here to Las Vegas in 2007 for Survival of the Fittest at the Empire Ballroom on the Strip and there was almost nobody there. I remember I had something like a 3rd or 4th row seat and I was asked to move up to help fill in the front row. ROH did not return here for 7 1/2 years, but now they are showing up for 2 major PPV weekends a year and apparently being successful in Las Vegas.

unfortunately, due to Lucha Underground Season 4 tapings, although it sounds like they will both be back for FSW's Anniversary show in May, both Sami Callihan and Killer Kross are off Sunday's show. Joey Janela replaces Sami Callihan as Teddy Hart's opponent.

the Sunday FSW show at The Cannery sounds like it might be standing room only based on what FSW posted on social media
Raven has been announced as the guest on Disco Inferno's Lava Lounge. I saw that Tommy Dreamer and Eli Drake do not have their matches announced yet for this show. I wonder if the Lava Lounge might set up Eli Drake and Disco Inferno vs Tommy Dreamer and Raven?

I wonder if there is a chance Chris Jericho might be making some type of appearance at this event?
FSW's promoter posted last night "Just got off the phone with a Former World Champion, looking forward to talking business tomorrow."
Jericho will actually be in town this weekend for a Fozzy concert, so could it be Jericho?

That would be neat.

another posted teaser from FSW's promoter about this unidentified former World Champion apparently doing something with FSW:
"Great conversation today with a former world champion. Looking forward to doing some business together"
If this in regards to Sunday's show then my guess would have to be Chris Jericho since he is in town this weekend and has exchanged messages on social media about the show with at least one wrestler who is appearing on Sunday's FSW show.

although Jericho is in town this weekend, I am changing my guess to Austin Aries since he showed up on tonight's ROH PPV and has worked FSW before. Aries I thnk is more realistic than Jericho.

just got home, thought the PPV was really good (much better than Elimination Chamber which I attended two weekends ago.) My favorite matches were the 6 man tag Las Vegas street fight and Marty Scurll vs Punishment Martinez. Good to see whlineup after the show, we went to the TGI Friday's inside Sam's Town and the staff sat us next to the table with the Briscoes, Shane Taylor, Beer City Bruiser, and others. Thanks to whlineup for buying me those beers tonight! Looking forward to going back for tomorrow's TV tapings which now include Kenny Omega.

The Six Man sounded fun...cool for Daniels to win the Grand Slam.
