So what can be used for champions advantage? Looking for innovative ideas to keep a champion strong!
So far, there's power & agility improve one like the aCe Essence, roll pin twice, roll pin three times (ref hand slapping mat thing). Pin rating always 4 (1)? Ring charts improve one? Finishers improvement, tag moves (defense or offense)?
Ok creative minds, let's see some cool concepts! 👍

Hmmm Well Justine I've always used the 3 dice rolls i.e. the ref counting to three! Beyond that I've used a 1d4 and rolled it before the match as this acts as free passes for said champion either to reroll for an opponents finisher (like he reversed it countered it) ect. Its worked well for me

I saw a bootleg card of The Fabulous Moolah once whenever she held a title - her Pin Rating and DQ Rating increased one for as long as she held the title.
(Meaning pin rating would lower one and dq would raise one).
Interesting topic Justin.

Really awesome ideas on the champs advantage... Never even thought of that as a possibility, especially with the rolling three times on pin. How do titles ever change hands?! What if champs all had the ability to get out of or reverse finishers? Like if a guy rolls his finisher the champ gets a chance to roll a one (reversal) or a six (escape and take over on offense 2) All other numbers mean the guy's finisher worked. And this ability can only be used twice in a match? Maybe... Just an idea.

I don’t give the champ an advantage ‘in match’ but they only have to defend the title once every 5 cards (unless there’s an angle to force them to defend it otherwise). I feel that this gives the title defenses more meaning and can lead to some lengthy title reigns. My man Shayne is currently smashing records and has become the longest reigning champ in the modern era. Torin Caelum holds a mega record though in the early year. 30+ cards as champ and that back when I was only running 12 cards per year.

I usually do a -2 to PIN ratings for major title defenses and -1 for minor titles.

Especially for high profile feud matches, big PPV, etc. I like that idea of avoiding finishers! Great idea! Thanks! 👍

That is a good plan! Shayne is tough, quite the record, I've never came close to that!? Ha!
