Max has badly done his knee in, a couple of times now and hasn't wrestled a lot lately. That, coupled with Bakabella saying in their most recent promo that if Max loses, he'll never wrestle again, and the fact that Quack has wrestled "send-off" matches for a couple of people recently, makes me think this is a thank you and goodnight for Max.
In terms of who I'd like to see in the next pack, I guess it depends on how many cards we're looking at, but on the basis of a Rudo set and a Tecnico set:

I'd really like to see new cards for the original Colony. Especially Soldier, his terminator thing was really fun to watch and would love to have a card of that.

My predictions for the Young Lions Cup set.
1) Merlok
2) SPACE MONKEY!!
3) Sylverhawk
4) Razerhawk
5) Hermit Crab
6) Cajun Crawdad
7) Whisper (who I really hope we get as Whisper and not as Ophidian II, unless we get Ophidian I as Ouroboros)
8) it really doesn't matter...Ashley Vox, why not.

Nice predictions, Vidtek. That would be a great set if that's how it turned out! It wasn't that hard to come up with. Merlok's announcement was prefaced with " This 8-card set will highlight many of the names that won the Cup in 2017 and will have an impact on the promotion for years to come." Space Monkey (who we know from last year is getting a card at some point) was the first YLC winner last year, followed by Wani (already has a card), Sylverhawk, Hermit Crab, Razerhawk, and Ophidian II/The Whisper. So I figure that's 5 of the 8 right there. Merlok was in the YLC tourney and is number 6. Cajun Crawdad was in the tourney, also challenged for the cup midseason, and is Hermit Crab's tag team partner. With both Xyberhawx likely I felt he was too, so that makes 7. The eighth spot is tricky cause it could be almost anyone. Vox was in last year's tourney and I just tossed her name out as a place holder. It could LITTERALLY be anyone else on the roster, past or present,and if I'm right about the rest of the set I would be happy. |
