I think if anyone has a chance at stopping Crossbones track to the title it will be Astarte. Astarte has a pretty solid card, but I'm sure Crossbones will find a way to win some how.

Natives of Castillex beat Awesome Strength (Totally Awesome/Chavo Pequeno) when Ygorr put away Pequeno with a Nerve Clamp. The Natives seemed to be hearing more cheers from the audience and with Axe challenging Blue Chip to a singles match, Awesome grabbed a new partner who claimed to be just as big and strong as him. They actually had a few good moments but eventually Krud and Ygorr got in enough offense to put Pequeno into the Nerve Clamp and forced a submission.
Mass edged King Tux with the Power of Kroll. Tux did not want to go down as Mass drilled him with big move after big move and Tux kept kicking out or escaping. He also hit a flurry of offense but Mass just managed to come back and hit a head drop suplex and then the Power of Kroll for the victory.
The Electric Axe defeated Blue Chip after Throwing Fire. Axe actually dominated the match although it took every dirty move he could use to win the match. The fans booed lustily after he used a guitar string choke and then throw the fire to win.
Vacant squashed Murtak with the Spine Cracker. Murtak could not get it going against the wild man who pounded him down and finally forced him to submit. After the match Mass lumbered down to try and attack Vacant but Vacant slipped out of the ring and into the crowd to avoid him.
Evil Henchmen put down Red Fury with Atomic Warhead on Red Rising to retain the FTR Tag Team Titles. Rising and Talon got in some good shots but Terror and Swerve were totally focused here and other than one point when Rising dropped an elbow on Swerve letting Talon make a pin attempt, Terror and Swerve were just too much as Terror dropped Rising with a perfect Atomic Warhead and Swerve dropkicked Talon to the floor.
Moonlight put away Mayham with the Mongolian Horde. This was short as Moonlight did not let Mayham get in much of anything before she hit her finisher to score an easy three count.
Tournament Matches Duke of Destruction put down Faller with the Duke Deathdrop. Faller had his shots here but he could not maintain enough offense as Duke came back with KO Punches and Duke Deathdrop to wear him down and finally pin the big man.
Astarte upset Captain Crossbones with True Future Shock. No one expected it as Crossbones had been dominating the match but something seemed to be distracting him here and Astarte took advantage of that hitting his finisher and just managing to hold Crossbones down for the pin.

A huge win for Astarte and I'm interested to see how he handles the much more experienced Duke of Destruction in the tournament final... Thoroughly enjoyed Vacant's performance, but it would have been cool to see him crack that 'meatball' head right off Murtak's shoulders and cook it up with a plate of spaghetti... It would've made his father very proud... Fun times!

Keeping those dice dizzy TTX. Lot of great matches - particularily enjoyed The Natives getting restless and coming up with a big win. First time I've seen Captain Crossbones lose anywhere. Astarte had his number this night. I would kill for some spaghetti and meatballs now! Only a matter of time before I pick up these FTR sets, too much fun. Keep on rockin Troy!

Definitely should. I keep finding guys I want to have make appearances and I'm already counting down to set 3 hopefully sometime in the near future. Next card coming soon including the debut of Ham N Eggers.

Conquerors of the Galaxy took down the Ham N Eggers when Mass pinned Mayham with the Power Surge. Ham N Eggers managed to work together but somehow Murtak and Mass managed to work together enough to gain a needed win.
Vacant thrashed Chavo Pequeno with the Spine Cracker. This was mostly Vacant as he tossed Chavo around and kept clamping on the Spine Cracker. Chavo did not want to go down and lasted a bit longer when the referee was knocked out but Vacant kept clamping on the Spine Cracker until Chavo submitted.
Scimitar grabbed a victory over Red Talon with the Samurai Springboard. Red Talon just could not keep Scimitar down as Scimitar was starting to look in danger only to avoid an atomic drop and hit his Samurai Springboard for the three count.
In a non title match Power and Pride quickly defeated The Evil Henchmen when Chip pinned Swerve with the Cetus Suplex. This was all of three moves as Faller dropped Swerve to the mat and hit Timber! He then tagged in Blue Chip who quickly used a Cetus Suplex and Swerve did not kick out in time. After the match, Disciple of Terror complained to Swerve about his performance. (Poor Swerve rolled snake eyes)
Psi edged Red Rising with Mind Over Matter. Rising almost had it several times but Psi kept coming back with Psi Thrust Apex and then finally locked on Mind Over Matter and Rising could not quite reach the ropes before the referee counted three.
Moonlight kept the trouble for Captain Crossbones with the Cristo. It seemed Crossbones was having a little trouble as Moonlight caught him by surprise and used the Cristo for a victory.
Mad Maxus put down Natives of Castilex when Awesome used the Awesome Finisher on Ygorr. Ygorr and Krud got in a few shots but Awesome was never in trouble. Axe only got in via Metal and Chrome but laid in a few solid shots before tagging in Awesome to finish things off for the team.
Astarte put down Duke of Destruction with a bear hug to win the FTR Title. Duke nearly had it with his Grip of Doom but Astarte would not be denied and he kept battling until he locked in the bear hug. After the match both Captain Crossbones and Disciple of Terror shouted out challenges. Encubus grinned and said he'd let those two battle each other for the first title shot.

Superb determination shown by Astarte to claim the belt... Looking forward to the upcoming faceoff between Disciple and the Captain to decide a number one contender... Looks like this particular matchup is becoming a feature attraction in a number of FTR feds... And it's fun to see how each promoter uses a different approach to spark this rivarly...
Another big win for Vacant as he continues to let his Neptunian wild side run wild... Awesome show!

Superb action here. Ham n Eggers is a great name by the way. Cool to see victories by Power & Pride and how about Moonlights victory over Captain Crossbones! Moonlight strikes me as the Moulan of The FTR. Totally psyched to see Disciple and Crossbones face off against each other for the number one contendership. Congrats to Astarte - Will have his hands full trying to keep that belt for sure. Firing on all cylinders Troy!

Thx Bri and Pariah. I'm going to be running my indys for a bit as I await the new Chikara set but I'll hit FTR up again soon.
(Ham N Eggers is from the book so I can't claim credit for it)

The Sound of Fury held off the Ham and Eggers when Pequeno locked in the Gory Special on King Tux. After teaming Pequeno up with Awesome, Axe tried him as a partner and they connected better taking down the Ham and Eggers. Axe wore down Mayham with a guitar string choke and smashed him with the guitar but it was Pequeno using his Gory Special that put King Tux away instead.
In a #1 Contenders Match, Captain Crossbones squashed Disciple of Terror with Death in Space. Terror gets no offense in as Crossbones quickly recovered from a double clothesline and hit a Plunder Kick, the Black Sails and then Death in Space for a victory.
Vacant crushed Swerve with the Spine Cracker. Swerve probably could have won the match but he seemed unable to hit a big move at all. Vacant eventually came back and pounded him down before locking in the Spine Cracker and getting a quick submission.
Red Storm (formerly Red Fury) defeated The Natives of Castilex when Rising pinned Ygorr with a lightning roll up. Red Storm had a very difficult time with the Natives but finally Talon managed to tag into Rising who quickly caught Ygorr off guard with a roll up for the three count.
In a special attraction match, Pelvis Pressly defeated The Guardian with his Guitar Smash. Electric Axe promised a special attraction and provided it with an appearance from Pelvis. Guardian probably should have had the match won with Enveloped but Axe reached in and grabbed Guardian with his guitar string breaking the hold and allowing Pelvis to grab his own guitar and smash Guardian for the victory.
Power and Pride put away Conquerors of the Galaxy when Blue Chip used the Cetus Suplex on Murtak. Murtak and Mass got in a few good shots but in the end, Power and Pride was too much as they quest for the tag belts.
Moonlight handled Totally Awesome. Electric Axe let Awesome try his luck in singles but Moonlight dominated him and the few times he had a chance, he couldn't managed to catapult her allowing her to come back with a Twin Thurst and two Mongolian Hordes to win.
Astarte held off Duke of Destruction with True Future Shock to retain the FTR Title. The Duke tried all his dirty tricks but Astarte overpowered him and dropped him several times before hitting True Future Shock to win. After the match, Captain Crossbones came out for a staredown.
