I was informed last night that I have a Summer school position which will definitely pay my way to Pittsburgh- but it was not in the previously (as I was told) World History spot (which sucks because I turned down another World History offer from another school to keep this spot) only to be told I have to teach Government and I really do not know what the hell I am going to do when next week starts lol.
But I still accepted the offer because I am not someone to turn down a challenge plus the extra $1,000s of dollars being offered to me. I only have 8 students who have to behave, I got this!
See you in Pittsburgh!

be glad to see you again, Zeke. Sorting out the details but I'm looking good to go barring any late surprises.

It looks like I won't be able to see you guys until Saturday morning the 14th.
I was told today at work I am now guaranteed to work the second term as well this Summer which is good as I need the money and it is easy teaching Summer school. But to get that extra 3 weeks of pay I was told I can not take the 13th off because that is the day of final exams and all grades are due at 1:00 that day with no exceptions (I thought the exams were on the 12th.) I was told though at least that I could probably just turn my key in at the end of the day and avoid having to be back by Monday morning for the final check out.
Since my Summer work schedule got finalized today, I did book my flight to Pittsburgh and I land in Pittsburgh at 6:00 AM on Saturday morning. It was either fly the red eye Friday night for just $118 or pay alot more but yet not land until sometime between 12:30 AM and 1:45 AM Friday night/Saturday morning (I could not find a flight getting me into town before 12:30 AM because I have to work late on the 13th.)

I got my ticket this afternoon for Extreme Rules at the Penguins arena that Sunday night.
My itinerary has me landing in Pittsburgh on Saturday morning at 6 AM and staying in Pittsburgh until that Monday morning when I am going to go to Canton, Ohio to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame for a few hours before going back to Pittsburgh for a nonstop flight to Las Vegas on Monday night.
Then I am home for 6 days before boarding the train to go to Kansas City and then take a bus to Waterloo to attend the Tragos/Thesz Hall of Fame inductions.

Got my bus ticket though there was a mistake on my departure time I'll have to fix before the convention. Looking forward to seeing old friends and new there.

Then I am home for 6 days before boarding the train to go to Kansas City and then take a bus to Waterloo to attend the Tragos/Thesz Hall of Fame inductions. Oh, Yeah!! The Waterloo Hall weekend is an absolutely great event. Been several times myself. Some fantastic legends every year. If you are in the Midwest (or.. in Vegas..) you should consider going. Hmm. Maybe a little Filsinger gathering is needed on the Friday? A link if you are interested: nwhof.org/blog/booker-t-jim-ross-and-animal-among-attendees-for-20th-anniversary-hof-induction-weekend/
