I pretty much agree with what most of you have said...
Positives - when he talks old school Crockett, World Class, Mid-South, etc. I also enjoy the money analysis when he goes through his old pay sheets and such.
Negatives - constant bitching about politics and newer indy wrestling. Like yeah, we get it already!
I like the Drive-Thru a lot better. I also really enjoy Brian Last's 605 Superpodcast.

I generally don't mind the rants if only because Cornette is so damn entertaining to listen to. He really does cut a mean promo. But yeah, his meticulous record/book keeping is awesome and I think the fact that its obvious that he's a fan makes him even more enjoyable to listen to, especially when he's reminiscing or waxing poetic about classic wrestling.

Its always fun listening to him talk about some of the riots he helped instigate over the years. I can only imagine the utter chaos at ringside as the fans froth at the mouth trying to get at Cornette. I love it.
In fact, the more I think about it, the more I realize just how much of old school ECW was pulled directly from classic southern and Detroit wrestling. I was, and still am to a degree, a huge fan of ECW during it's prime years (95-97/98), and it makes perfect sense that Heyman took a lot of stuff from what he learned while working in the South and implemented it in Philly. He went overboard with the hot-shotting, but Heyman definitely knew what he was doing as a booker.
