I have my own storylines and do not fully follow that of Tom's Fed that he lays out for us. ( But I lean a bit )
But as we all know, we can follow his path or create our own Fed with the way we want it to be ( one of the best things about this game imo )
My question is : Do any of you people use the Dark Menace in your plots?
For example - In my Fed: Dark Menace was losing his power hold thanks to Magnus Colby - So he went and brought back the Time Travelers : Greek Gods ( I use the colour cards )
He then went and brought back from Earth - Greg "The Hammer" Valentine.
Now before anyone thinks this is just lame or crazy - Remember that back in GWF 2108-2111 Greg "The Hammer" Valentine was brought into the Fed by the legendary Kraken.

Think Bundy and Macho Man might come by from the Dark one's plans vs his counter part ( in my Fed ) Colby.

First off, no one here is going to EVER shoot down your creativity on this boards! If they do, believe they will get an earful from the other guys. I know its a tag, but "It's up to you promoter!" is about anything goes in your fed. So, good nuts with your creative juices think outside the box all you want! I do it all the time, and I encourage you to play the same way. But, nothing anyone creates on here is ever lame, it might be an idea that needs improvement, but then lame. I'm not playing current 2133 GWF, but 2133 FTR. But, I will use Dark Menace if I need too, as a manager.

Just his standard GWF storyline, but I've worked him into some of my Indy fed storylines.

I would NEVER write a story breaking the fourth wall, where The Dark Menace is behind everything in the COTG Universe and the heroes battle to stop the maniacal megalomaniac. Nah.... That wasn't me..... I would also NEVER write a current story where the Dark Menace is missing and reality and time have gone haywire with only Wolf remembering the real time line and is now searching for the evil....... I would never drag the Dark Menace through the mud like that, because TOM is a great guy. I've said too much...... he hears everything.

Yes! I love using Dark Menace in my fed. Unlike his real life counterpart, I picture him as a guy who thinks he's much smarter than he is. Totally Bobby Heenan in my fed. He is always involved I'm major storylines or just bubbling under the surface. Last year (2132) he ran for president of the United Federation of Stars and Planets and lost! The campaign was so fun. He's one of my go-to characters fo comic relief. He got into some fun stuff in 2133 as well. Always a winner.

Hey Cryptic Cowboy! (Great handle by the way). 1 million % support what Crossbones said above. To thine own self be true. I too use him in my fed which is actually I guess a LOW fed in a GWF universe: He is the principal owner of a LOW fed that his based in Brooklyn, New York. He came there in hiding because he was blamed (falsely) by the Universe and in particular by the GWF for being the one who left Epoch to die on that planet. Sly Drury (The actual person responsible) ordered The Dark Menace to carry out his orders, as The Dark Menace at the time worked for him in Drury's crime syndicate called The Maffei (In this fed). From there he stayed in hiding until The Universe (Including Sly Drury) found him. From that point on his quiet little LOW fed has slowly become a run away drunken horse that ran out of a burning barn. The Dark Menace has gone from brilliant but annonymous owner to a borderline crackpot to being possessed by Abroz to thinking he knows what he's finally doing. His best move has been promoting and bringing in new staff to in essence run the fed for him as he continuously tries to (between the lines) keep his sanity - as does his staff and now multiple co-owners. I have so much fun posting the way I like to post. That's one of the true blessings of these boards - everybodys feds are different. (Sorry - had a lot of coffee this morning!) Very interesting topic - curious to see how others see DM as well!
