TTX - Cornette is going to start by teaming Condrey with Rose and Eaton with Lane... This allowed me to pair Candido and Prichard as the Beautiful People... He will probably mix them up from time to time, just to keep everyone on their toes...

aceldamas - Yes! My previous Legends fed was called Pariah Wrestling Revival... So this is LITERALLY my attempt to revive Revival... Rogers and the Road Warriors carried over as the champions from the earlier fed... And I awarded Bruiser and Savage the other two titles based on their performance...

Of course, I'm also bringing back the OutBreak brand which will serve as my NXT equivalent... The starting champs are based on the winners of my Canadian Climax events... If a wrestler does particularly well in OutBreak, he will eventually get elevated to the Revival roster...

* Midnight Express is Jim Cornette's stable consisting of two separate tag teams - Condrey & Rose and Eaton & Lane

can't wait to see how this goes.  Jim Cornette was a master of the shell game with the Express.  most people only think of Eaton & Lane.  but any incarnation is dangerous and tag teams used to try and imitate before everyone was more into spaming Road Warrior copies.  and today its War Machine clones.

Those interesting thoughts have got me thinking as well, barflymike4ever... If/when Cornette is able to lead a Midnight Express team to the tag belts, I'm gonna have to come up with something fun to get the remaining pair involved...

Jerry Lynn defeated Rob Van Dam via disqualification. (Tokens: Lynn 5 - RVD 2)
- Lynn is busted open following a Van Daminator. The ref remains flexible, allowing the match to continue until RVD slams Lynn through a table outside the ring. An Extreme Rules rematch is signed for the next show!

Beautiful People defeated Sheepherders. (Tokens: Prichard 1)
- Williams foolishly attempts a high risk move and Prichard catches him with a superplex. Candido pins Williams following a PRIMADONNA PLUNGE.

- Jannetty taps out to a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK.

- Early interference by Cherie allows George to gain a tainted victory using a small package with tights. After the bell, DDP nails George with a DIAMOND CUTTER!


RCW Intercontinental Title Match: Bruiser Brody* vs. Jimmy Snuka
Jimmy Snuka defeated Bruiser Brody via disqualification. (Tokens: Brody 2)
- The ref warns both men several times about their violent behavior, finally stopping the match when Brody uses his chain to choke out the challenger.

Bruiser Brody retained the RCW Intercontinental Championship on a technical decision.


Eight Man Tag Match: Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey, Randy Rose, Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane) w/ Jim Cornette vs. Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) and Rock n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson)
Fantastics and Rock n' Roll Express defeated Midnight Express. (Tokens: n/a)
- Morton pins Eaton (snake eyes) with a CROSSBODY BLOCK, bringing a fast paced match to an abrupt end. Nothing is truly settled as the fight continues into the backstage area where security finally pulls them apart.


Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Ted DiBiase w/ Redd Dogg
Ted DiBiase defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan. (Tokens: n/a)
- DiBiase finishes Duggan with a COBRA CLUTCH. Recovering quickly, Duggan grabs his trusty 2X4 and takes a vicious swipe at DiBiase's bodyguard! Fortunately for Redd Dogg, he ducks just in time and gets DiBiase to safety.


RCW United States Title Match: Randy Savage* vs. Curt Hennig
Randy Savage defeated Curt Hennig. (Tokens: Hennig 3)
- A thrilling performance by the Macho Man! He hits Hennig with a FLYING ELBOW DROP and hooks the leg for a three count.

Randy Savage retained the RCW Intercontinental Championship for a successful version one title defense.


Lou Thesz vs. Bobo Brazil
Lou Thesz defeated Bobo Brazil. (Tokens: Thesz 3 - Brazil 1)
- Thesz completes a superb performance with a GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. The two competitors shake hands following a great match.


RCW World Tag Team Title Match: Road Warriors* (Animal & Hawk) w/ Paul Ellering vs. Foreign Legion (Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff) w/ Shawn Daivari
Road Warriors defeated Foreign Legion. (Tokens: Sheik 4)
- Exceptional teamwork by the champions. Animal pins Iron Sheik following a POWERSLAM while Ellering keeps Daivari honest at ringside.

Road Warriors retained the RCW World Tag Team Championship for a successful version one title defense.


RCW World Heavyweight Title Match: Buddy Rogers* w/ Bobby Heenan vs. Harley Race
Harley Race defeated Buddy Rogers. (Tokens: Race 3 - Rogers 5)
- Interference by Heenan nearly turns the tide. Race proves why he is considered one of the toughest men in the business, ending the champion's short reign with a PILEDRIVER.

Harley Race won the RCW World Heavyweight Championship

TTX - And so it begins... First show, first major title change... Not a fan of hot potato, so hope this isn't a sign of what's to come.

barflymike4ever - There were a few really one sided matchups... More than I usually like to see... But, none more prominent than Savage completely shutting down Mr Perfect.

TTX - Yeah, when the champion is forced to face such high caliber talent, it stands to reason the titles are going to jump around with a bit higher frequency... Just a testament to how much greatness there is in the game.

aceldamas - There was quite a bit of action in the eight man tag... Lots of defensive tags and I think just about everyone got into the ring at some point... Crazy the very first pinning predicament wound up ending the match.
