RIP to Brickhouse Brown, Brian Christopher, and Nikolai Volkoff. Nikolai was one of the most believable foreign heels of the kayfabe era. It's so nice to know that he was really a gentle man outside the ring who despised communism. I wasn't a fan of Grandmaster Sexay, but I admire Brian for making a name for himself without using his famous father's last name. I commented on Brickhouse earlier in this post when his death was wrongly reported. My condolences to their families. They'll all be missed.

Tough Enough Contestant Brian Danovich Passes Away At Age 38 Brian Zane, the host of Wrestling with Wregret on YouTube, announced that Brian Danovich passed away at age 38. No reason has been given at this time. Brian Danovich was a collaborator on Zane's wrestling YouTube channel. Brian Danovich was a $1,000,000 Tough Enough Contestant who tore his pectoral muscle during try-outs, and still came back the next day to complete the obstacle course. John Laurinaitis recognized Danovich’s passion, and had agreed to sign him to a developmental contract for OVW at the time. Around September 2005, WWE's website posted an announcement stating he had been released by the company.

Just saw on twitter that Jim Neidhart died. I'll see if I can find a link to a reputable source.

Just saw on twitter that Jim Neidhart died. I'll see if I can find a link to a reputable source. Thanks, Gunslinger... Update: As of 10:50am EDT on Monday 8/13/18, after both a Google and a Yahoo Search, only Jim's Wikipedia page has today's date as the day he has passed. B. Brian Blair's Twitter has the original Tweet, but nothing yet on WWE.com, nor Natalya's Twitter. Strange that Nattie's Twitter hasn't broken the news if this is true. Anyway, keep your fingers crossed!

IMO, heel Hart Foundation was the best tag team during the boom. Jim was a great guy the couple time I met him and glad he was game to be in one of my Advent Calendar promos (during which he was hilarious). Good thoughts go out to his family. Rest In Peace Anvil.
