True, but if Tom's the writer I think he is, Epoch's not dead.
At least I certainly hope not.

True, but if Tom's the writer I think he is, Epoch's not dead. At least I certainly hope not. I'd be surprised if what we've heard is all that there is to the story.... it's just that we may not have a transevolved, ass-whupping Epoch ready to come back and take down the Dark Menace-Sly Drury alliance. That's all I'm saying.

That's right, I didn't make any commitments about Epoch other than there will be updates. Anything is possible...
2123 will continue in the direction of grittier realism and more personalized confrontations. As much as some earlier game editions drifted further and further towards sci-fi themes, this edition will continue in a kind of opposite direction more in tune with recent developments in professional wrestling.
That means the dialogue-driven handbooks will continue, which is SUCH a far cry from the press conferences of the earlier handbooks. Don't get me wrong, I loved those. But these are different times and a different approach, at least in terms of storytelling.
Anything that drives a wedge between people like Endgame's crusade will certainly lead to personal soul-searching and animosity. That's the ticket! Just imagine the possible reactions of guys like Anivar, Valour, Wolf, Bloodline, Encubus, Payback, and Retribution, to name a few. And the conniving machinations of guys like Sly Drury and Vin Strutter.
It'll get crazy. Going so deep into these guy's psyches even scares me!
2123 is coming this summer...you better believe it!

A little off topic here, but will other sets like 2122 be available at G-Con to pick up? I don't have 2122 yet, but am planning on getting it, perhaps getting it at G-Con along with 2123 be an option?

They have always had other stuff. I am probably going to need to have Todd bring a couple individual cards as I'm missing a few and want to pick them up at G-Con.

Usually copies of the few most recent sets are at the main table, among other sundry things like Songs in the Key of GWF and the Dark Menace book, and Tom or Todd frequently takes people's orders on Saturday and brings the stuff from Fed HQ on Sunday. So you can pretty much get anything in the catalog there, I'm guessing.
