That would increase my interest tenfold then.

He did. It would be interesting but we'd need 74 79 84 and 86 done too to properly run it. Rather than just coloring the existing 2074 and Early Classics, I could see this being a re-imagining of the early years of the GWF. 2074 could be a new jumping off point with guys like Omega, Morpheus, Blacklash and Bullwhip, along with some of the guys Mike created in the EC expansion and brand new guys as well. That will be cool if it’s enough talent to actually work with. If it’s a 6-12 character set a year, then that’s going to be tough to work with. Furthermore, I couldn’t even imagine who you’d take out of Mike’s amazing expansion!

I'm so far behind with the GWF sets that I don't even play it anymore, preferring to stick to the Ring of Honor sets, as well as any other sets that contain wrestlers that also compete regularly in ROH. I wouldn't even know what GWF sets I would need to purchase should I want to re-start using the current roster.

I loved writing that set and it is awesome to see how much people enjoyed it. If EC was to get the color treatment, there would obviously be additional characters made, plus some additional updates along the way (an Imperial Alliance version of Mimic comes to mind). Quite frankly, I originally intended EC to be at least a 2-part set, but I was afraid that Tom wouldn't want to commit to 2 sets. If you go back and look at the roster sizes from year to year, it ranges between 21-26 wrestlers who are active at any time IIRC. Before the craziness of 2086-87, there were no more than 6 combined updates and new cards in any one game year (and much less in most). If there was a color redo, there is plenty of room for new characters and updates as well as new feuds.

It would be awesome to see additional characters, but I would hope we would get the same characters that were made available from Mike and Tom. I’d hate for any character to be left out. They all served such an awesome purpose. Also, the Lost Found characters (I assume now owned by FG) would be a super addition. However, PLEASE don’t do a small pack; do a set that can be ran as a fed from release.

I would expect Werner most likely though possibly someone else for artwork.

Banks is a definite possibility as well.
