Enjoy Vegas. Hope you Chad and Tim have a great time and a name or three might get signed as well. . Thanks Troy! Hopefully there will be some signings, although at the CAC I usually defer to Chad and Tim since they tend to have more established relationships with some of these wrestlers and they are there all day long and I am only going to be there for a little while each night. I wish the CAC would return to its original June time period.

I just got back home from Night 1 of the CAC. It was great to see Chad Olson and Tim Dalton once again and talk about LOW. Tonight was the first of the annual two nights of Indy matches. I think Kikutaro and the Ballard Brothers were probably the biggest names who appeared on tonight's show. Although I can not attend any of the seminars during the day, I will be going back tomorrow after work to watch the next round of Indy matches.

I just got back from the second night of this year's CAC. I sat with Chad and Tim again and tonight I saw about 9-10 matches tonight. In one match, LOW's Chaz Taylor and Sam Houston teamed up against a tag team managed by Kevin Sullivan. Some of the other bigger names who wrestled tonight included Willie Mack, Sinn Bodhi (who wrestled against a former student of mine,) and Dickey Mayer. The CAC also did their annual video tribute to wrestlers who passed away. The tribute at the end gave the most attention to Bruno Sammartino and Bobby Heenan but virtually every wrestler who passed away the past 12 months was shown including Johnny Valiant, Paul Jones, Tom Zenk, and Tugboat Taylor.
Looking forward to going to the sandwich buffet tomorrow and then to the formal reception on Wednesday night.

Back home from Night 3. Tonight I went to the Bockwinkel Blowout (a sandwich buffet) and then sat with Chad and Tim and their friends at the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Hall of Fame table for tonight's awards ceremony. Tonight the honorees included Blue Demon Jr., Tony Storm, Princess Victoria, referee Mickie J. Henson, Kevin “Killer” Kross, wrestling historian Don Luce, and Roy McClarty (posthumous award.) Brickhouse Brown was also brought on stage tonight and he said his doctors have only given him 6 more months due to brain tumors but alot of the wrestlers there expressed confidence that Brickhouse Brown will still be here at next year's CAC. Raider Fan Malcolm, cman and throwingtoasters might remember him from past Wrestle Reunions, is here this year and during tonight's awards ceremony he made himself well known to the rest of the room with his loud enthusiasm. I wish I was not working tomorrow so I could go to the seminar about PNW as I used to go to shows there back in the late 1980s and early 1990s when I lived in the Pacific Northwest. The PNW seminar is being presented by Moondg Moretti, Greg Lake, Fidel Sierra, Ricky Santana, Dean Silverstone, and Bobby Bass. But I will definitely be at tomorrow night's formal Fidel Sierra, Ricky Santana, Dean Silverstone and Bobby Bass. However I will certainly make it to tomotrow night's formal 2018 CAC Awards Banquet to close out this year's CAC.

That PNW seminar looks really sweet. Will be a shame you have to miss it, Vegas. Hopefully it's a really fun time regardless.

it’s been a fun CAC so far. I always enjoy seeing Zeke and Tim, and hanging out with my Thesz/Tragos family.
Made a couple of LOW signings so far, a couple of follow up emails, and hope to get a few more today.
The tribute to Brickhouse Brown was extremly moving. It shows the good work the CAC does.
Will give more thoughts on Fridsy wheni i get home. I hate typing on an iPad!
