Cory and/or Chad, if you have any more stories on that last taping please share! Any chance you have pictures? I actually attended the last two AWA TV tapings ever. The August 11, 1990, show Cory and I were speaking of, and the June 1, 1990, tapings. Because both shows were featuring Team Challenge Series matches, it's hard to keep everything straight. If you go here and scroll down, you'll find all of the results: sportsandwrestling.mywowbb.com/forum2/31198-4.html Some memories... *Ox Baker managed the Russian Brute, and he was scary hobbling around at ringside! *The Light Heavyweight Title "Tournament" consisted of two matches. Johnnie Stewart vs. Tony DeNucci in June, and the finals with Stewart vs. Zumhofe in August. *It was super exciting to see DJ Peterson and The Trooper win the belts. Back then, title changes were rare, so this was a big thing to 16 year old Chad. *At the June show, we walked up 20 minutes before the show and had front row seats! In August, we were a couple of rows back, but attendance was even more sparse, so they had people in the bleachers come down and fill in the ringside seats. I knew that wasn't a good sign! |

Pretty lucky even if it was the last days of the promotion. While not awesome did enjoy the episodes from Rochester as there was always something different going on. |

I couldn't remember if that was the show I took you too. That Race vs. Zybszko match was good. We also saw The Trooper & DJ Peterson beat the Destruction Crew for the AWA World Tag Titles. First title change I ever saw live! That's right! That would have been my first title change too. That taping had other Team Challenge Series matches with odd stipulations, like the Butcher's Match, which was sort of a Three-Way Match but not really.  And then there was the Behind the 8-Ball Match, which was an Elimination Match, but you could also be eliminated from your team by being thrown out of the ring. I don't think you even had to be thrown over the top, just out of the ring. I also remember, even as a kid, not liking Buck Zumhofe and wanting Stewart to win the Light Heavyweight title. When ESPN Classics was replaying those tapings about 10 years ago, you can see me in the front row as Buck is being interviewed by Eric Bischoff after winning the belt and I am NOT happy. |

Ordered EVERYTHING (package deal) but figured I'd ask here. Has things shipped yet Tournament Master ? Everyone who ordered 12/15 or earlier your stuff was sent the 16th, except ROH went out a day later on the 17th. |

Thats probably more a Online Thing in the Moment.But could somebody explain to me the mechanic on the new Larry Z. Card?
