1 year from today, July 31st 2020, the stadium construction is expected to be completed, and its structure has already survived two earthquakes from earlier this month

It looks like this new stadium will be called Allegiant Stadium as the airline has reportedly reached a naming rights deal with Raiders for $20 million- $25 million/year.
(On a side note, it is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day- that was the news item next to the Raiders stadium news story at the LVRJ website earlier today.)

Vegas you need to work your magic. Convince them that instead of a coin flip to start the game they do a dice role. Then have them make Filsinger the official sponsor of the opening dice role.

Not the worst name for a stadium. Sure it will be a fun stadium to attend though. I remember there was some local talk about Caesar's possibly buying the naming rights followed by some concern that ticket holders might accidentally show up to the casino (Caesar's Palace) instead of the stadium for the games- I do not think that is a valid concern because those people would have to be idiots lol. Not excited about the possible stadium name, but I am very excited for the new stadium and I am looking forward to going there next year in 2020. |
